DS tested positive - can we travel to Majorca?

DS has tested positive with a PCR - we are in Wales where they still do them. He has symptoms but was testing negative (and still is) with LFTs. He has been double jabbed so meets the entry requirements.

We are due to fly to Majorca on Friday.

To travel to Spain you have to fill in a questionnaire and state that if you have symptoms you will self isolate for a week

The Mirror is saying that the self isolation requirement has been removed

Can anyone advise on whether he can
a) travel
b) must self isolate?

thanks in advance!

This is tui but most airlines have removed mandatory masks in the last few days so hardy anyone wears them

On our 737 I’d say I saw less than 10 wearing masks

No one checked vax passports at all either side
Really? Nobody in the UK or Spain checked or scanned the health control form? Wow. Things do seem to change quickly.

The fact that the OP even has to ask the question. The fact that some reply - “it’s doesn’t matter there will be other positives on the plane” “it’s just part of learning to live with the virus” just shows exactly why we are in this shit show we are in now. I’ve just had Covid and self isolated for ten days and didn’t pass it on ( I know for certain). I actually felt pretty crappy and had fatigue since then. But I’m pleased that I didn’t pass it on to someone who might have died , been hospitalised or got LC. The fact that some think their right to a holiday outweighs doing the decent thing sort of sums up the country we are living in .

And yes OP I have seen your update - unfortunately that’s not what your Post implied . Covid isn’t a cold. For many they will be fine but not For all.
