Who is doing what?

I wish I could work from home, but I can't, and am worried about commuting.

Both me and my dh work in retail, both in work today.

I'm in the vulnerable category with asthma, Andy anxiety is through the roof right now, I just want to stay at home, but I can't work from home. I'm hoping they will close the shops tbh.

Well, I'm in the office and the traffic was significantly lighter than usual. I'm sorting emails and prepping for being told we'll be working from home. Might not be today, our IT dept are working flat out to sort us all out for home working.

There was a plan being sorted to enable all of us to work from home eventually, but we're talking a couple of years and our IT was nowhere near ready yet.

Change of emphasis from my work today following the revised government guidance yesterday. Most now WFH although there are still pockets of presenteeism / martyrs

I'm so glad I went to work today. I started out very upset & uptight for first few hours I was there on my own. it was only by finding cameraderie with colleagues who came in later that I started to relax & feel normal. We all seem to want to volunteer to just be given it deliberately so we can plan our lives, resume our lives, become immune sooner.

I'm a head, I'm in, socialising within a massed gathering as instructed! Schools are very strange places at the moment...

I'm now WFH until next week, then one day scheduled back in the office for handovers to other team next week etc. IT say they need at last another two weeks to get all departments up and running. People saying goodbyes to each other at a distance with no idea when they'll be back. Really mixed reactions from people over not coming in, some in their element, others visibly upset, I think a lot of people don't think they'll have jobs to come back to so today was probably it.
