This is absolutely devastating, so many killed and injured in a hospital!

Risk of being shot or not, no medics I know (and I know many) would abandon babies in incubators to the enemy in a war.

Did you read the article? Evacuating the babies without the right equipment to transport them would mean they would most certainly die. The IDF assured the medics they would evacuate them safely and didn't.

Look @10UsernamesNotAvailableTryAnotherOne the argument has moved on now it's the doctors and nurses fault that they didnt save the tiny patients while the IDF evacuated the hospital (because we know they would never shoot medics)

Unbelievable! Just when I thought she hit rock bottom, she kept on digging.

And would IDF have shot them if they stayed (or worse a little holiday in Sde Teiman) which would have led to the same result of decomposed babies.

So your victim blaming analogy is pretty redundant.

It's like some people don't even see Palestinians as humans worth any empathy. Such deep rooted hatred and racism.

Definitely

And Israel was only defending itself when it left those premature babies to die a slow death in an incubator unfed and unmedicated.

Yes and all these western news outlets reporting on it are lying ofcourse because the IDF are soooo moral and kind. They wouldn't dream of doing such acts like killing unarmed civilians or point blank shooting medics and burying ambulances.

As I said I prefer using logic when facts are unclear and it stands that the medics I know would never abandon patients, let alone sick babies needing constant care, even in a war zone, and I know medics who have. My own brother. That’s what immediately leapt out to me from this story.

You’re telling me adults were more scared of what the ‘monstrous’ IDF would do to them, than what’s they’d do to helpless babies? Not one parent or relative of the babies happened to be there at the time coincidentally. I’m sure you’ve got a ream of reasons for why that have been.

Absolute tosh, and I don’t need to prove anything to you, and ALWAYS thrown out when the few don’t follow the blinkered narrative some people want to push.

Whatsinanamehey · 13/05/2025 22:57

Nobody needs to push any evil Israel agenda or whatever it is you call it - the IDF take great pride in recording their war crimes and publishing it on their social media for all to see.

It absolutely is, like you said no one needs to push an agenda, the IDF is happy to provide evidence over and over and over and over again.

What evidence is there of this that Israel targeted him as a witness, before you repeat unverified information?

The ‘journalist’ from whose account this has been reposted only seems to have posted since the war started, most of it IDing IDF soldiers and hacking into their private Social media accounts. There is nothing from before Oct 7th 2023 on his Twitter account from what I could see.

Can you call just yourself a journalist with no credentials in Gaza then?

Terrible that this poor child was dragged into a war and lost his life, like all the other children in Gaza and Israel and have lost their lives, due to the actions of Hamas, their funders and supporters,
and the Gazan civilians who took part in Oct 7th.

A BBC cameraman who was lightly wounded captured the moment of the strike. He says sick children that were waiting to be evacuated from Gaza had gathered in the car park of the hospital when the bombs hit.

It is so insane that for they cannot reveal the name of their cameraman for his own safety. I appreciate the fact that they are being open about the fact that naming him would probably have him killed by Israel. It really drives home just how much Israel have been trying to control the narrative, so much so that they have turned to murder to keep the truth from coming out. It takes a brave person to work as a journalist in Gaza, well done to him for helping the world see what is happening.

sualipa · 14/05/2025 08:56

We are far beyond disgust now. It's a small consolation, but the world has finally awakened to the sheer inhumanity of Netanyahu's Israel—supported by many Israelis and their allies. Just imagine if Russia were doing this to Ukraine; we would likely be at war by now.

As Matthew Parris nobly put in his article

Every age looks back at previous ones, aghast at things that happened on the watch of our fathers or forefathers, complicit by their silence. How is this going to look? How are our successors going to feel when one day British children are taught at school that, in their own century, their own countrymen averted their eyes while Palestinians faced a rain of missiles and bombs, with many tens of thousands dying in the assaults?

That these wretched people were herded, desperate and confused, into one corner then another? That they were starved of food and medical aid while powerful elements in an Israeli coalition cabinet hinted, in thinly veiled comments about “relocation”, at ethnic cleansing and the president of our greatest ally made swaggering remarks about turning the whole of Gaza into some kind of beach-adjacent real estate?

But they did tell the world exactly what they set out to do.

On October 9, 2023, Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant announced a comprehensive blockade of the Gaza Strip, stating:

“We are putting a complete siege on Gaza… No electricity, no food, no water, no gas – it’s all closed. We are fighting human animals and we are acting accordingly

Evidence?

Not sure what the video of upset children proves. All children would be scared in a war, which is why you don’t start them.

Wonder what the ‘light’ injuries were to the ‘journalist’ as hard to see how any were sustained from the video.

Very well done to Israel that they were aiming for high value targets, despicably hiding among the sick and injured, with such precision that those children mentioned in the article were not hurt.

Edited

I think the 100s of dead journalists and the threatening phone calls that photographers like Motaz received are probably evidence enough.

The children didn't start any wars. They are victims, usually people show compassion to victims.

Very precise strikes if 6 bombs were dropped in a small area.

How many of the 28 killed were Hamas?

The IDF were going after Mohammed Sinwar, Yayha’s younger brother, who has taken over command of Hamas’s military wing from Mohammed Deif from that article.

Hope they got him.

Where is the outrage that Hamas are continuing to use hospitals for their activities, and hiding like rats the rats they are in them, causing needless civilian casualties.

The news this morning suggested that the younger Sinwar was killed.
