Video showing Palestinian man strapped to front of jeep

Israeli army strapped wounded Palestinian to jeep

The Israeli military says the man was a suspect in a raid in the West Bank, but its forces violated protocol.

No, those two situations are not comparable in any way.

Thanks for that clarification I realised that a jeep was not a helicopter.

He needed an ambulance, but what they had right there was a jeep so they got him strapped on and took him to the Red Crescent hospital.

If they were what people seem to think they are why didn't they dump him in a ditch?

You're quoting my post from June. If you want to continue to delude yourself two months on about this that's fine but I'm not interested in going around in circles with you.

Not like that you don't. Or if you do, you should report it to PALS, the GMC and the police.

If you travelled you'd probably find that most of the world is quite unlike the England you're experienced.

Actually that's quite an amusing comment to read. Thanks.

I don't live in England. I've not lived in England for over 20 years. I've done quite a bit of travelling through work. I've previously spoken on these threads about my experiences of Palestine. Those weren't exactly gained through video calling.

It's not ok to further harm and traumatise injured people by strapping them directly to vehicle bonnets and then driving those vehicles at speed.

If, as you suggested back in June, there are people in the UK who find themselves strapped to a vehicle in the way this man and others were, then they should raise it with PALS, the GMC and the police, as that's honestly not how it should be done at all. Remote evac is not "tie them on and let's go".

Amazing they spent half an hour driving him back and forth. Going past no fewer than three ambulances, refusing to hand him off and it is all captured on video and yet you still believe the malarkey.

Meir Mazuz, top Israeli rabbi favored by Netanyahu and his cabinet, blesses soldiers that gang-raped a Palestinian abducted from Gaza: "You beat the enemy, so what? It's all good… Don't we have the right to do it?… In any other country, they'd get medals… Don't fear the goyim"

Extremely deeply disturbing. I'm no longer shocked, every day it's something worst than the day before.

Why are they proud if this? No, any other country would not give a medal once this crime had been exposed. This is shameful.

If the rabbi had forgiven him, if the soldier had shown true remorse, that would be different.

Is the translation correct?

The person reporting it is an Israeli journalist. This rabbi in the past has said that Palestinians are animals

Thank you, it must be a good translation then.

It is shameful that a priest of a major religion would publicly say this while carrying out a religious act of blessing. The sodomy was not self defense. It was a crime.

Apologies ! I just realised this is not the thread I wanted to put it on but the rape one
