How many international laws has Israel broken? Last count it was something like 65. This country went to war with Iraq for breaking 2.

so far the IDFs record of investigating and convitcting atrocities committed by its troops doesn't leave much hope though

Not at all. Just making the point it's not just Hamas who celebrate Israeli deaths this way, but also some Palestinians in general who encourage the actions of Hamas. Everything Hamas do is supported by their 'people'. Never seen anything to the contrary.
