Israeli entry in Eurovision song contest is likely to be a song called 'October Rain' sung by trans-identifying 'Eden 'Golan'.

My previous thread was deleted for pointing this out.

Also rude.

How is saying someone is the pot calling the kettle black rude?

If that was all you'd said I'm pretty sure it wouldn't have been deleted. So that's presumably not all you said.

I also said that and that it is rude to tell others they are making a “ridiculous fuss,” and that 25miles’ constant little digs towards me were condescending. I didn’t say anything else.

I'm here because I like discussing Eurovision, (generally with some mocking of the acts involved because it's all a bit silly). I don't really appreciate your attempts to keep turning this into some sort of personal tit for tat when it isn't. If you don't like the way I express myself then that's perfectly fine but nobody's forcing you to respond to any of my posts.

Walkaround · 20/05/2024 22:44

@25milesfromhome - please stop directly quoting my posts. By doing this, you are the one who is making it personal. I simply don’t understand why you keep doing that if you claim you are not engaging in a tit for tat. You had no need whatsoever to quote and comment on my first post at all and I don’t understand why you would do that if you do not wish to provoke a response.

Walkaround · 20/05/2024 22:47

Also, Conflict in the Middle East is an odd place to go if you just want to discuss Eurovision.

25milesfromhome · 20/05/2024 22:50

This is a thread about Eurovision.

Walkaround · 20/05/2024 22:51

This is a thread about Israel’s participation in Eurovision.

25milesfromhome · 20/05/2024 22:51

The clue is in the thread title, yes.

Walkaround · 20/05/2024 22:52

The clue is in the fact it is found in Conflict in the Middle East.

You are literally talking about me in your post I quoted. You are tagging me. This is truly bizarre.

Walkaround · 20/05/2024 22:53

How about starting a thread on Eurovision generally, somewhere more appropriate?

25milesfromhome · 20/05/2024 22:55

I am also to be found on other threads about Eurovision. I suspect the moment has passed for a new thread about it as the competition is over for another year.

But I’m not the one who has a problem with the “tit for tat”? You are the one complaining about it, but then keep it going by repetitively doing it yourself and then wondering why it is happening. If you do not like tit for tat, then please don’t do it. 🧐

I suspect that's the point... counting it down til it's closed. How do you open a follow up thread?
