Some more in depth coverage of what happened to the four little babies in the NICU in Nasr Hospital and how they were left to die alone with nobody looking after them. This is one of the most gruesome things I've ever heard and to be honest for the first day or so I didn't think it could be true. I didn't think even Israel could be this barbaric (though these aren't the first premature NICU babies they've killed in this conflict so I should probably not be so naive). I can't understand how they can do this. And still they're supported by the UK and US. Will this story appear on the televised news anywhere? You can want the hostages back but at the same time you can stand up and say what Israel is doing wrong and they do need to be held accountable. How many children have Israel got in prison without any actual charges?

I hope the hostages are released and at the same time i wish for Palestine to be able to live without fear, without having to limit their water intake, without being scared they might get arrested for the smallest thing which would not be allowed in the UK. In the UK we would not trial children as adults when they are 8. We would not question them without an adult present. Yet when Israel do it, it's ok.

Wow just wow I'm gobsmacked at some of the posters on here for their lack of humanity, ignorance and their denial of IDF being responsible for this. Absolutely shocking. You all need to open your eyes and see what is happening. Stop believing the countless lies Israel.

@Fairtobefairohhhhhc and @Livelovelaugh028384 said it well and I'm glad someone did. You can't blame Hamas for everything. Stop focusing on just 7/10 but understand why it happened in the first place.

This poor babies left all alone to die without their parents is absolutely heartbreaking and the lowest the IDF has stooped to.

What shocks me greatly about all this is the protesting. Not once have I heard, or read, a Palestine supporter say this, or anything close to it - to stop all the horrors, murders and nastiness on both sides, all it will take is for Hamas to release the hostages and come out from behind their human shields and surrender. Israel will have to agree to a ceasefire and countless lives will be saved - today, and in the future. But of course, Hamas won't surrender. They are cowards of the lowest kind who prefer their people to suffer before they do. People tend to lose sight of who Hamas actually are. They are Palestinian citizens who chose to join an illegal terrorist organisation, and are criminals. They are the sons, the husbands, the brothers and the fathers of those who are suffering because of them. Do the decent thing, and protest for Hamas to surrender. If they lose all their support, at home and worldwide, they will have nothing.

Nonsense. How do you "know" that? Got any evidence? No, I didn't think so. The International community will pile on pressure to ensure a ceasefire, Israel will lose all support if they don't comply. They have abided by all the ceasefires so far - Hamas were the ones who broke them this time. And the time before that. And the time before that ad infinitum. Your rather feeble excuse is more indicative of a desire to destroy Israel, rather than bring about peace.

Its been ongoing for the last few decades. Last few years, IDF have stormed into houses in the west bank, picked up children and held indefinitely. Or murdered at will, and stormed funerals of those murdered. Everyone turns a blind eye. Is that because you expect nothing less from the IDF or what is it that makes protests for a ceasefire more shocking than an army walking away and leaving vulnerable, sick babies to die?

The IDF literally film themselves saying they want to kill all civilians on a regular basis. The leaders have even lied so much they get muddled when they talk...

Do you really expect healthcare staff to give up their lives?

It's a most morbid trolley problem.

Do you:

Stay with 5 extremely poorly babies, whose chances of survival are marginal at best. It means you have to wave your family off, leaving them without a male protector in a war zone. Communications within Gaza are non-existent so you will not find out what happens to them for a while. Meanwhile staying means you have a very high chance of being killed, leaving your children fatherless and your wife a widow. Gaza is down a nurse too.

Or

You have a reasonable chance of saving one of the babies if you leave four behind. The IDF have assured you help is coming for the four remaining. This also means you can protect your own family
