4 NICU babies left to die by Israeli forces

Some more in depth coverage of what happened to the four little babies in the NICU in Nasr Hospital and how they were left to die alone with nobody looking after them.

This is one of the most gruesome things I've ever heard and to be honest for the first day or so I didn't think it could be true. I didn't think even Israel could be this barbaric (though these aren't the first premature NICU babies they've killed in this conflict so I should probably not be so naive).

I can't understand how they can do this. And still they're supported by the UK and US.

Will this story appear on the televised news anywhere? I haven't seen it.

Warning: the descriptions in the article of the condition the bodies were found in are graphic.

Well it wasn't the nurses choice to leave the hospital was it? He also saved the strongest baby if you read the article. Again if you read the article you will see the stories been verified by them too.

CormorantStrikesBack · 03/12/2023 17:09

The Washington post has verified the video was recorded in the hospital so seems unlikely to be propaganda. Guess it’s possible they got corpses from elsewhere and put them in the cots. 🤷‍♀️. But personally I’d believe it. Awful.

There is something wrong with people who say what about hamas or who try to blame the nurse for this. Disgusting people

Or you could just call them Palestinian yourself, because that’s what they are!

Civilians do die in wars, but there are laws in place that are meant to stop them being killed indiscriminately. The IDF are ignoring those laws and are committing war crimes, which even if they do manage to wipe out all of Hamas, is most likely just going to create another generation of Palestinians who hate them, and another Hamas will rise out of the ashes, especially if Israel do not change their approach to how they treat the Palestinian people in both Gaza and West Bank.

The violence will only lead to more violence and the vicious cycle will continue.

Hamas are truly disgusting. Hiding in hospitals, schools and mosques behind and under innocent people.

They are truly the lowest of the low.

Mirrormeback · 03/12/2023 16:28

It's hardly a surprise

They put live babies in ovens to roast alive when they raided the Kibbutz

That's actually been debunked. The story that was told about the father and baby being thrown into an oven was actually told first in 1947 after the first nakba expulsion of palestinians. there is video footage of a palestinian telling the same story many years ago.

Have they actually found hamas hiding amongst the dead babies in their incubators then? No, didn't think so

braticus · 03/12/2023 17:38

@BeggyMitchell You can keep repeating that tired old line all you want. People aren't falling for it anymore. The veil has been well and truly lifted. Israel has murdered over 8,000 children including these 4 tiny babies.

Any thoughts on the army killing premature babies?

Thats so sad 😞

Fairtobefairohhhhhc · 03/12/2023 17:43

I'm assuming those who are in favour of IDFs 'approach' accept that If there a 'war' where to happen wherever you live, that you are most like also be in the position of the Palestinians and therefore accept being killed in your home and being told to move and then bombed again. If so, then fair play. If not, then you might want to rethink and look again at what is happening.

WinterWarmth · 03/12/2023 18:08

Sorry I don’t get this. These helpless babies were left unattended by hospital staff but the IDF killed them?

I can’t imagine NICU nurses leaving 4 ill babies alone in a hospital that was apparently going to be bombed. Surely someone would wait with them until they’d been evacuated?

Was the hospital actually bombed then as they were found as they were left and someone was able to go in and video the remains? No one checked that they’d been evacuated?

Something doesn’t add up here.

Did you read the article? It's all explained.

Posters even posted it in screenshots earlier in the thread. Probably a good idea to read them rather than just posting that you don't know what's going on. Or at least read the thread 🙄

I recommend following Dr Ghassan Abu Sittah on social media. His accounts of working in Gaza hospitals recently are absolutely harrowing, and tell you everything you need to know about the horrors being committed by IDF. Since his return to London he has been to Scotland Yard to report all of the war crimes he has witnessed.

PurpleChrayne · 03/12/2023 18:20

If this did indeed happen, it was easily preventable. Hamas could have given back all of the hostages and stood down. We were in a ceasefire. Hamas broke it.

But once again, it's big bad Israel who is to blame.

Quel surprise.

Well, yes. They have. Weapons stores have been found in ICU units. Hamas is embedded in hospitals. One of the hostages was kept by a doctor.

Toothyfruity · 03/12/2023 18:27

I can't believe pro Israelis here can't even bring themselves to say anything that would in any way express that what happened here was wrong, and that those who actually did the wrong thing are to blame for it.

I guess there'll never be any condemnation of the IDF then? Ever? Even if they literally leave premature babies to die alone by abandoning them?

My brain can't compute this level of savagery and the apologists here make me sick.

I really don't like writing this but the baby in the oven did actually happen. You can read the coroner's report.
It is not based on anything but the burn marks of the shelves. Maybe Hamas did just do that?

True. Israel could have as well not targeted the hospitals and order to empty them. Both could have done it better but none did it right

Fairtobefairohhhhhc · 03/12/2023 18:39

@WinterWarmth if you look you can use the free version. That's what I did and then screenshot it all for you to read. Please see page 1

Interesting as an Israel newspaper said today the opposite. However , even if it was true .. this is about 4 babies in Palestinian. Please leave this thread for them as it seems like you’re saying child for child

I shall ignore the first part of your post as I am sick of hearing "but Hamas" while trying to deflect from the horrors inflected on the Palestinians by the "most moral army in the world".
But I cannot ignore the attempt to appear erudite by using "quel surprise" and failing spectacularly!
