Why is Israeli bombing refugee camps in Gaza?

In a war countries don't ordinarily have control over another country's comms. Israel controls power, food and water and the movement of people into and out of Gaza and they've cut everything in the last month. That's a war crime, not normal war behaviour.

100 Israel doctors have written a letter requesting for Gaza hospitals to get bombed.

If you had showed me this at the start of the war I would have found it difficult to believe
But at this point sadly not even suprised

She also said that they’d be targeting the remaining solar panels on the roofs of buildings. So their little access to power was going/gone.

Many thanks @EasterIssland I'm not very tech savvy, and can't make it big enough to read well. What I can make out is that they think it's the right and duty of IDF to attack hospitals, as they think there are Hamas HQ under them.

Is that fair on babies in incubators and people unable to move from the hospital? I wonder what IHL would say.

From the WHO, although at this point I think even they have realised they might aswell talk to a wall than try and reason with a 'democracy' who is so hell bent on revenge they have lost all sight of humanity

It's good organisations like the WHO keep speaking out. There's a danger, I think, of the suffering becoming normalised and everyone just accepting it. The initial shock wears off, requests fall on deaf ears and everything is let slide. Thank goodness for charities and organisations like WHO and UN, who remind the world that this is not how humans should be treated.

Am I being stupid here? Don't all doctors have to swear on a version of the hippocratic oath when qualified? And doesn't it include this part?

I know. Every day I'm hoping she's still alive. They're targeting journalists and her reach is huge so I'm so worried for her.

Why an earth would 100 Israeli doctors sign such an agreement? What was the narrative here? I mean in any case it would be wrong as it's a hospital for goodness sake but why?!? They are suppose to be medical professionals they are signing off their fellow medics lives firstly and secondly all them innocent children, women , civilians! Just barbaric.

It's worse than that, it's a 1000 Israeli Drs.

The UN has said that 88 UNRWA staff members have now been killed in Gaza since October 7, making the conflict the deadliest ever for UN fatalities. It's really shocking considering it has been a month. Israel are really sparing no one.

The aggressiveness of this is insane. So, so much death and destruction in just one month. There isn't a shred of humanity in Israels dealing with this. I get that that are always going to be rogue, awful countries out there but the thing that gets to me the most in all of this is so many powerful countries not just standing by and watching but actively being Israels cheerleaders. It is chilling. Absolutely chilling what money and power does to people. I hope they are haunted by the images of the people they have helped to kill until they are on their deathbeds.

For reference, they have now surpassed the number of total killed in the Saudi-Yemeni war that has been going on for the best part of a decade. They have also massively surpassed the number of civilian deaths in the Ukraine-Russia conflict, one where we’re supposed to believe Russia was maximally targeting civilians with the second largest military force on Earth.

Sadly it’s easy to see how they’ve managed to do so, high density population in a small area, combined with the inability to move around. Just so wrong. I can’t believe the world continues to shut its eyes.

It's a loaded question. But to answer it in the most simplified way possible - it's mostly European countries that have unwavering support for Israel. This is because of their guilty conscience - they transported not only their own European Jews to the Middle East but they also transferred their guilt onto Palestinians. What guilt you ask? Their abhorrent treatment and massacre of Jews throughout history. That's why.

I don't think its guilty conscience at all. I think its to do with money and power. And who is friends with whom. I feel Gaza is in the crossfire.
