They also reported they found the head of Shani Louk who had been raped, paraded, spat on. This was after Hamas said she was in hospital with a head injury. This all made Hamas look awful (could they look any worse). When i saw this news it was with skepticism, hence the wait and see approach. This could easily be another stray Hamas missile.

Hamas are widely known to hide behind civilians and operate from hospitals, schools etc so this could have been a military target that Hamas sadly smother with civilians to protect it.

Hamas have also apparently been preventing civilians from leaving the northern strip after Israel repeatedly warned of air and land attacks and told them to go south 2 weeks ago. Hamas need those bodies to stay over the tunnels and around the military targets.

Whatever the truth is Hamas can end this now. They can surrender, hand over the hostages. Israel withdraws. Aid goes in. They can save their own people now, but they don't.

Some much needed balance and sense in this discussion.

I don’t care where Hamas are supposedly hiding (and I take a lot of what I read about where they are with a pinch of salt). There’s no excuse for bombing for hospitals/churches/refugee camps/ residential areas. Fed up of people excusing it.
And civilians who went south as instructed have been bombed in the south. IDF must have been laughing their socks off knowing they were going to bomb them anyway 😡

A one sided truce will.never work.
Hamas give up?
Israel will just continue to invade.
Israel stop? Hamas continues
Both sides have to agree humanitarian truce and pause

I have a friend who's family originates from Israel, they are Christian and she has many relatives still in Jerusalem. She says as far as Israel is concerned all non Jews are nothing, the army has been given carte blanche and there are gangs of ultra orthodox Jews beating up any non-jews. Quite apart from the horror of Gaza, Jerusalem is a dangerous place to be currently, if you're not Jewish.

I can't believe the West isn't recognising this as ethic cleansing.

The UN have been trying to speak about what is happening in the occupied West bank but Israel will just not accept it
The extreme settlers think the attack by Hamas has given them the green light to do whatever they want now

Can we stop using the word evacuate? It implies they have somewhere to go. They are telling people to flee from bombs and then bomb the places they say are safe.

It is utterly unbelievable people are still sticking with the Israeli government.

Did anyone know that there was about to be a revolution in Israel, people wanted rid of the far right government. Then this happens and they have all the power they need.

Let's not forget that up until 10 years ago they were giving Ethiopian Israeli women the contraceptive injection without their knowledge or consent.

I thought the IDF claimed they never target civilians and are very precise with their targets ,

6 bombs , each weight a ton were dropped on the refuge camp, 400 casualties , mostly women and children.

the images are beyond horrific , body parts everywhere 😭😭,

Nothing justifies this massacre , shame on the Israeli government they are truly barbaric.

Did anyone watch the channel 4 news from the West Bank last night? They were reporting on the Palestinians being kicked out of their houses, one family were told they had 24 hours to leave then they would be shot! It was heartbreaking.

My understanding is the Israeli government told people to leave the refugee camp area as it wouldn't be safe to stay. They are trying to destroy Hamas tunnels which are underneath. Same with the hospital that they keep telling the Palestinians to vacate.

If you're in a refugee camp, you probably don't have an abundance of options for places left to go to.
