The main stream press aren’t really addressing the horror of what is happening (bar maybe Channel 4 news and Al Jazeera) - it’s a sanitised version.

As I said in the original thread, there has been absolute horror on both sides but the Israeli government are inflicting collective punishment on the people of Gaza, which is a war crime under international law.

I still feel we are watching genocide in real time.

I've never heard of an accusation of 'War Crimes' in the middle of a conflict, but maybe you can tell me differently?

There will never be peace for anyone in the region unless they can find a way to respect each others rights. I think that a lot of people have learned an awful lot of history over the last month, since the horrendous atrocity of October 7th. To quote others, the history of this conflict didn't start then. One thing is for sure, that there's a growing call for a ceasefire.

This may well be true but it raises more issues.

Hamas' raison 'd'etre is the annihilation of the State of Israel. It is backed by Iran that has the same clause in it's Constitution. (Although I have noticed that Tehran is had distanced itself from the massacre by Hamas in Israel)
