Morning everyone, updated list below, welcome to all you newbies, let us have your stats and we will add you to the stats.

So who is testing when? Claire are you still planning on holding out until Sunday?
Based on previous cycles I am either 7po or due to ovulate today. I think based on my emotional state I ovulated last week but with my body you never know If it is todat then this month is out as last time we bbd'd was Sunday as DP away until Thurs!!

Update from the docs - have to go back to doctors on sunday as he wants to check something he hasnt before then if that doesnt show anything the next step is a brain scan as it could be something neurological - trying not to worry at the moment, he thinks it is unlikley BUT just wants to check - I have no idea how long I will have to wait, I suppose I will find out more when I go back later this week. SO TTC may be the last thing on my mind Trying to stay positive at the moment.

Sorry dont know what is wrong with my typing this morning - going to the doctors on Thursday not sunday!!

LinzRed · 26/01/2010 09:29

Morning - thought I would log on after posting for the first time yesterday and can't believe how many supportive messages I got! No I have not been scared off by crazy baby ladies cos I have now become one! I def feel so much better now that I've found this place. I just need to get used to the abbreviations and i'll be flying. Checked out fertility friend yesterday and am starting to track everything!
Hope everyone has a great day. I'm off work today and laundry is calling me (unfortunately).

Kaloki · 26/01/2010 11:49

pidgin Probably not till late next week. I'll be a week late on Saturday, but going by previous months this means nothing. And we really haven't been trying this month, so I don't want to waste a pregnancy test when it's just my body playing up.

zippys Will be thinking of you

claireinthecommunity · 26/01/2010 17:09

Afternoon everyone, a warm welcome to LinzRed and Kurlyvoice

Thank you for all the positive feedback to my heartburn, unfortunately, it has now subsided, my cramping has gotten stronger though and feels stitch like, especially when I walk around or do anything reasonably active.

Worrisome, I've been trying to work out if it's like my pre AF cramping, I don't think it is but this late on in my cycle I may just be remembering things differently and hoping it's not my normal AF symptoms...

Really trying hard not to get my hopes up - I just don't know and I won't until AF arrives or she doesn't and I do a test.

I'm planning on testing on Saturday at the earliest Zippy, by then I'll be officially late if she hasn't arrived by then. I'm so pleased that the Dr. is taking these further tests but can understand it being a little worrying for you, as Kaloki has already said, I'll be thinking of you

Hermya, that 'coke can' feeling you had could be like the 'fizziness' I get around my follicular stage, the date would tie in with you being on CD10. If so, your little egg is getting ready to be released soon, so you know what you need to be doing

Hermya321 · 26/01/2010 20:24

Evening all!! How are all of you lovely people? Well been feeling sicky all day and been slightly miserable. Also felt like someones been sharply poking me in my left side all day which has now calmed down into a dull achey feeling in my hip. It's happening on my right side now as well. Been a mite uncomfortable let me tell you. Anybody else experience anything similar? Also had a bit of a tight chesty feeling, but am wondering if that is surpressed panic over how much I've got to learn on my course. Very very weird!!

On the plus side, I get a new phone in a few days and the people on my course are so so funny. One of them has the most beautiful accent. I bet there would be a few people who would pay to listen to him read out the phone book.

Zippys I'll be thinking of you as well, I hope they get to the bottom of this soon for you.

Lindz I'm glad you feel welcome, this is a lovely little thread. Have you bought your thermometer yet? It was one of the first things I did after getting on Fertility friend. I grinned all the way home from boots and still get a little bit excited everytime I put my temp into the chart.

Chance Yep I know what I need to be doing and am staging an ambush accordingly.

WorrisomeHeart · 26/01/2010 20:27

Hi all, and happy nearly hump day Wednesday! (Although bunny it's already here for you! )

Welcome to all the newbies, hope you find this thread as supportive as I have!

capricorn sorry to hear you're having a tough time. It's always hard to hear about other people's success with conceiving and I can imagine it's much much worse with someone you dislike! BTW I agree with bunny, I think we now need to think of a superhero name for you - maybe Super CrazyBabyLady? Leaps ClearBlue testing sticks in a single bound, faster than a speeding symptom-spotter! Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No it's Super CrazyBabyLady! Bringing TTC fever to all she meets... ahem, ok I'll stop now!

zippys not good about the further tests. I really hope that you get a resolution to this soon. Keep your chin up.

claire the stitch cramping sounds intriguing.. I agree how difficult it can be to differentiate between symptoms each month though and to remember how it was last month without the automatic 'oh that felt different maybe...' Will keep my fingers crossed that it's a good result on Sat.

Well my temp is on it's way back down again and I've been having mega AF style cramping so fairly sure I'm out again this month. Am due on Thurs, so will update you then. TBH I hope it does arrive on time, as that means I can have the blood test done at the clinic on Friday as I'll be on Day 2. Am feeling more and more nervous about Friday now, especially as DH has been doing some reading about his op for undescended testes and is now freaking out. Normally I'm the one who goes overboard with the internet information insanity - not sure I like the shoe being on the other foot! All jokes aside, I can't pretend that's not a huge worry for me but really all we can do is wait and see what the results are like. Blergh.

Anyway, time for me to stop rabbiting on about myself... Have a good week everyone.

WorrisomeHeart · 26/01/2010 20:29

hermya cross posts! I get the ov pain too - or at least thats what it sounds like to me. It lasts for a couple of days for me and alternates between sharp pain and dull ache. I only ever get it on my RH side though.

Hermya321 · 26/01/2010 20:34

Worrisome Thanks for that, it's been ongoing for the past couple of days and I was wondering if something was wrong, that was why I asked. You've made me feel a lot less panicky. Thank you!!!

WorrisomeHeart · 26/01/2010 20:38

No problem hermya that's what we're here for! Until I started TTCing I always thought it was mild cystitis and then realised it happened at the same time every month and coincided with EWCM!! Ah, it was a simpler time when I had no clue about any of this stuff!!

mumnerves · 26/01/2010 20:55

kurly welcome!

Worrisome sorry to hear your temp is on it's way down

Hermya glad you're enjoying your course and the person with a lovely voice doesn't happen to be hunky too by any chance? Imagine listening and watching at the same time!

claire sounds encouraging! keeping my fingers crossed for you

I've got really bad circulation and sometimes my feet and hands are freezing! Since temping this month, I've discovered that it's after ovulation when my bbt goes up Who would've known?!

Hope everyone is having a good week so far

bunnygirl80 · 26/01/2010 21:34

Worrisome I love the idea of SuperCrazyBabyLady!!! Sorry your temps heading down.

I think I am becoming more of a crazybabylady than I already was! Before we started TTC I promised myself that we would keep it fun and not worry too much about having to bd on certain days etc. Had been really good at this until last night

I was watching Andy Murray in the tennis, and it was getting quite late. DH wanted to go to bed and was happy for me to keep watching the tennis. Cue me saying "but we've got to bd tonight, I've already told fertility friend that we did it"!

Poor DH did his duty but I missed the end of the tennis - lucky I could rewind it and watch it later

OP posts:
chancewouldbeafinething · 26/01/2010 21:34

worrisome lmao Super CrazyBabyLady she could also sing Aly's ovulation song (on the old thread)
Good luck for the tests on Friday, wouldnt it be great if you didnt need to go? but if it does at least it will be progress

zippys hope the doc gives you some answers this time fingers crossed!

hermya mother nature is a cruel woman (I actually think she might be a man) You would think that it she should make it easier for us to know what all these cramps mean! hope it passes soon.

claire hope that AF stays away...good luck with the test on Saturday.

I am trying to avoid SS by cooking, now i dont know if a cant stop eating cos i am cooking or if i am cooking cos i am really hungry...
Hope everyone enjoyed the sunshine today (and the amazing sunset)

Hermya321 · 27/01/2010 07:21

Morning all! How are all of you this frosty morning?

Worrisome I know what you mean, it was a simpler time wasn't it.

Mumsnerves The guy with the voice, not so much on the looking, well for me anyway. Others may see something I don't. The thing with your feet and hands sound really odd. Who knew?

Bunny LOL at 'but I told Fertility friend we'd done it?'. Thats so funny. Hoping your ambush is successful.

Chance I know, if only our toes turned a different colour or something when we'd ovulated or got pg. Would take the worry out of things.

Hope you all have a good day!!

maamalady · 27/01/2010 07:55

Morning all. No news here, although my recent Twilight obsession is helping to take my mind off TTC at the minute! Who knew angsty vampires would be so fascinating!

zippys · 27/01/2010 08:46

Morning all,

Love the idea of a superhero crazy baby lady!

Thanks everyone for all your kind thoughts, this morning was horrendous, feel ok now but having to run to bathroom every five minutes when getting ready and then drove to work at 60mph with the window down!! But al least the docors are doing something and what with work and this it takes my mind of obsession symptom spotting (only obsession still verging on obessive

Linzred glad you feel welcome, it really is a great place to rant and rave when you need to, and also get support.

Kaloki I can understand you not wanting to test until you are well and truely late, with long cycles it can be really hard to know when to get your hopes up!

Claire without trying to encourage you too much the cramps sound a good sign. Keeping fingers (and everything else) crossed for you.

worrisome good luck for everything at the clinic, at least things are starting and moving forward. Sorry to hear about the temp drop

Mumnerves I get bad circulation I may have to check the timing of it.

Bunnygirl love - "but we've got to bd tonight, I've already told fertility friend that we did it"! It is amazing how quickly it takes over your whole life

Chance I agree I think it must be down to a man, a woman would have made it so much easier!! Loving the idea of changing colour toes, maybe moving through the toes with the cyle.

Hermya hope your cramps are a bit better, at least it means your body is doing something and getting ready for making a baby

Evilgiraffe what ever it takes to keep your mind off it - I have only seen the first film, keep meaning to read the books but dont seem to have time.

Hi all,

Just been reading through your lovely thread, lots of BFP's already this year so congratulations to you ladies!

Can you add me to the list as well please
Hoping TTC#1 cycle 4 UCL 29-31 CD26

lucielooo · 27/01/2010 09:58

oops, I copied and pasted a line from the list above.. Obviously I'm not 'Hoping' I'm Lucieloo, (though I am of course hoping very much)

kurlyvoice · 27/01/2010 11:22

Hello again everyone. Thank you for being so welcoming! Nothing of interest from me yet - still waiting for first AF before we even think about trying... But there's clearly so much to learn!

Kaloki · 27/01/2010 11:27

bunnygirl I think you've missed out on your I'm still waiting

seablue · 27/01/2010 12:44

Just catching up - have been struck down with lurgy the last few days.

As ever, obessively hoped that this was the "sore throat and runny nose" that can signal a BFP, though clearly as I was only 3DPO when it struck and my husband has it too, this is completely crazy lady thinking.

evilgiraffe - nothing wrong with angsty vampires. I still miss Buffy.

zippys so sorry to hear that you've got other things going on too - really hope the doctors get to the bottom of it.

claire - all those symptoms sound so good - fingers crossed for you.

Not sure I've been here long enough to welcome, but welcome lucielooo.

So, am firmly in boob juggling phase, though have a bit of a libido spike today which is bad bad news because that sounds like the normal pattern for every month. I expect to see some bleeding tomorrow, and then endlessly until AF decides to actually arrive on Friday week. Going to GP tonight for results of more blood tests to try to work out why I have that week of spotting before AF. Progesterone was normal last time. Go figure. And possibly DH sperm test result (though receptionist denied all knowledge of it - aaaaagh)
Anyway - good luck to all of you!

YorkshireTeaDrinker · 27/01/2010 12:53

Afternoon all,

Just a quick one from me as I'm at work and don't want to be spotted here. I just wanted to add to the building excitement around Clare's symptoms. I think they sound very promising. I have everything crossed for you.

Welcome lucieloo, I've added you to the list.

kaloki - can I put in a bid for the ? I predict 37. (But I reckon rather than AF arriving, day 37 will be when you do a test and get a BFP, making yours the first BFP in February! )

Afternoon everyone

Sorry to hear about AFs arrival Kaloki

Welcome to lucielooo

Seablue, my DH and I have both got runny noses and the sneezes and I initially thought it could be a symptom Hope you're feeling much better now.

Thanks again to everyone for all the good luck and sounding promising posts re my cramping etc... I'm getting really nervous now and beginning to think all the cramping is pre AF cramping but I'm determined not to test yet, think I'd rather AF showed up than get a negative and still not be sure.
