Pixie Fingers crossed for that next milestone.

Misshoola Sorry AF got you, kick back and relax and drink lots of wine.

Claire It was Kaloki, not me who had problems with the house move. Me all my furniture is in my house......unless you know something I don't know.

Well good day today, I've been out and about. I got a new phone but honestly don't think I'm gonna stick with it. I may take it back and just get an iphone. I have been trying though, it's annoying me already and I've only had it a couple of hours.

addie81 · 23/01/2010 17:45

Hermya, you should definitely get an iphone. I just got one last week and i LOVE it. I got an apple laptop as well for work which I also love. so much prettier than a PC and much more intuitive to use. Anyway - that's enough computer chat, back to the usual topic! I don't think I ovulated this month, not much of a discernible rise in temperature. My DH phoned Bupa yesterday and our private medical cover will pay for fertility investigations, but not treatment. i know we are only on cycle 4 (although I am writing this one off as don't think i ov'd), but I have a hospital appointment on Monday to get a full fertility workup. If there is something wrong, we can it sorted asap, and if there isn't, it will really set my mind at rest. from looking at the stats there seem to be a few of you who will be testing in the next couple of days - good luck everyone. x

NovemberAli · 23/01/2010 18:00

Congratulation Ceebs, that's got the thread off to a great start!

Glad to see you're back with us Sevens and that you are on the road to recovery

zippys · 23/01/2010 18:04

Hi everyone,

Just a quick post from me as dashing about but wanted to say a huge congrats to Ceebs see the TEST TEST TEST must have helped

Really glad to have you back sevans.

Anyway no real news from me, on boob watch but no changes.

Lipstie · 23/01/2010 18:14

Good evening ladies,

Ceebs Congratulations on your BFP!!!

I have not been around here much since I have joined as was getting a little emmotional and also symptom spotting like a crazy lady! I am sad to say that AF turned up today and only wish it had after I had poas!

Well, as I am back to start another month I thought I would be able to be on here more and get some of the positive vibes and maybe a BFP can come my way too!!?
I look forward to getting to know you all better and sharing more tips.
Misshoola I am with you this month and will keep fingers and toes crossed for us both

Please can I have my dates changed:
TTC#1 Cycle7 UCL26-28 CD1

Hermya321 · 23/01/2010 19:37

addie do you manage to get on the internet on yours alright?

I'm also on boob watch this month as well

sparklyrainbow · 23/01/2010 21:24

Congrats Ceebs and evening everyone else! After what seems a long absence (new thread, many pages to read through- thanks for thinking of me) I can now officially believe I had a BFP last Saturday so quite pleased and about to hop over to the grads thread

Got a very faint line last weekend, then tested again Tue or Wed and barely a line at all, so wasn't entirely convinced. However did a CBdigital this morning and a definite (and very quick) 'pregnant', 2-3 weeks which is about right so I'm now letting myself believe it a bit more. The ridiculous tiredness (had to take a day off work yesterday, so exhausted!) and very sore boobs which have gone up a cup size already are also helping me believe it too

Enjoy boob watch everyone and fingers crossed (Lipstie have changed your stats as well as mine) x

Congratulations Sparklyrainbow for your BFP today! Wow they do seem to come think and fast on here, the new thread has started a trend! Good luck to the rest of the ladies on your tww and hope this thread brings you all a BFP

Hermya321 · 23/01/2010 21:46

Congrats Sparkly wow Lipstie they are coming thick and fast.

I've been feeling really weird the past few days, sort of sicky and had weird tummy pains when I woke up this morning. Does anyone else experience similar when AF has finished her visit?

claireinthecommunity · 23/01/2010 22:20

Sparkly, at last we can say congratulations

I have no idea how I mixed you up Hermya with Kaloki Have also been a bit clumsy today (maybe early pg mush for brains?!! - I know, I know clutching at straws!) I would think that as you are on CD7 you are in the follicular stage of your cycle, when your eggs are getting ready for one to leave at OV. At this time, I tend to feel lower abdomen sensations, a little bit fizzy - difficult to describe!

Good to see you back on the list Sevans

Sorry about AFs arrival Lipstie.

I've been getting abdominal pains the last few days (getting stronger today), not sure if it's AF getting ready or the other thing! Also, I've been getting heartburn/indigestion in the evening lasting through to when I go to bed, this could be food related though.

Pixie, no real change boob wise I'm going to try and test only when AF is late, which would mean Saturday the 30th, so, only another week to go - it's going to really drag, isn't it?!!

Calyx · 23/01/2010 22:41

CONGRATULATIONS Sparklyrainbow yippeeeee another BFP for the most lucky thread on MN

Claire oooh my sister said when she was very early pg the only symptom she had which was different to normal AF symptoms was ... heartburn! I'm watching with fingers crossed!

Kaloki I hope everything house related is going to be okay for you? Lots of luck x

Welcome back to the list Sevans have been thinking of you, I hope that's all your terrible luck out of the way for an amazing 2010 for you x

Hi to everyone else! I'm 99 per cent sure I haven't ovulated this month grrrrr so am hoping AF arrives on time this month (although it's not really AF if you haven't ovulated is it?). Maybe February will be the month for me

pixiestix · 23/01/2010 23:07

Wow SparklyRainbow you kept us waiting for that one!! Congratulations!!! See you over on the Grads thread

Oooh Claire, heartburn and abdominal pain, that sounds good! I'll shut up now, I'm such a bad influence!!!

bunnygirl80 · 23/01/2010 23:19

Just spent ages writing really long post with messages to loads of you and then the internet crashed and I lost it. grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

So here goes again!

sparkly congrats - you kept us on the edge of our seats waiting for your news!

sevans I'm glad to see you're feeling ready to go back on the list. I think a change of doctor is definitely for the best. I would be so worrying next time you get a BFP if you had to keep seeing the doctor that missed your ectopic.

kaloki do you know when your house is going to be sorted? I can sort of feel your pain with no furniture - ours is still on the boat so our house looks really empty at the moment. Although at least we are in our house. I had to put up with MIL moaning at the lack of implements in the kitchen, but I'm becoming quite resourceful at using items for jobs they were never intended for.

addie I think that if you're worried then you should get tests done sooner rather than later. And if you've been paying into bupa then you might as well use it so you get your money's worth out of it. I think one in 10 cycles can be anovualtory, even if everything is working perfectly well, so this may just be that cycle for you. I still reckon you might just ov very late-I was cd23 last month, which was late enough for me to assume it would never happen.

claire I've heard heartburn is a sypmtom of early pregnancy....not that I'm trying to encourage you to symptom spot at all

It's not hot here anymore. There was a big thunderstorm last night and now it's raining. Am slightly annoyed as we were planning on going to the beach today and it looks like it's going to be too wet. At least I'll be able to go outside without feeling like I'm melting! I might even need a jumper

OP posts:
Kaloki · 24/01/2010 00:03

Bunnygirl The flat situation should be sorted for definite tomorrow. We are driving to Brighton at stupid o'clock tomorrow morning, the removals company will be there at 9, and hopefully everything will be in storage by 4pm tomorrow. Then it's back on to house hunting. Which unfortunately means I've got to register at a new doctors and hope I can get help for my back. So while actually TTC is off the cards while we have so much else to do, we wont be actively trying not to.

Which in theory means I wont be symptom spotting.. in theory anyway

mumnerves · 24/01/2010 00:25

Sparkly and lipstie* Congratulations! Wow this sure is a lucky thread!

Glad to have you back sevens and Kaloki!

Zippys glad you're being refered, at least they're doing their best for you!

Well ladies, 2ww is well upon me, feeling quite laid back atm...well, just until the hormones kick in anyway
This time I have a consolation, going on holiday in 2 weeks, if I'm not up the duff I can have a lovely aromatherapy massage and if not then well that's good news in itself so win-win

Hermya321 · 24/01/2010 09:02

Morning all!!

Claire It's not so much a fizzing, it's a sharp cramping. It's really strange. I've also had a bit of heartburn as well and a sort of strange sicky feeling in the back of my throat. My boobs aren't doing anything in particular at the moment though.

Kaloki I hope things go well for you guys today, let us know how it goes.

Mumnerves Are you going anywhere in particular? Like somewhere hot and sunny, excuse me whilst I have a brief jealous moment. I'm glad you're feeling laid back though.

WorrisomeHeart · 24/01/2010 09:23

Morning all!

Congrats sparkly fantastic news! This really is a lucky thread, I can't believe how many we've had!

kaloki glad to hear your living situation is becoming more organised!

claire exciting about the cramping and heartburn - do the pains feel different to your normal pre-AF type?

I had a huge temp increase this morning which I think is just a last progesterone surge before AF arrives, but it made me It's up to a level that I've not had in this cycle so far so difficult to maintain a calm state of mind! Having said that, I am getting some of the normal pre-AF cramping so temp will probably be down tomorrow... maybe...

Anyway, to take my mind of being such a crazy baby lady, I am off to clean the house and make slow-roasted lamb for our dinner, yum!! Have a good Sunday all!

DrewsGirl · 24/01/2010 10:23

Congratulations Ceebs & Sparkly!! x x

chancewouldbeafinething · 24/01/2010 11:09

Hello Crazy baby ladies, on the sparkly new thread

ceebs & sparkly Congratulations on the BFP!!!

kaloki I am going for 29 - almost in the middle of the last 2. (my fingers are crossed its not a long one)

zippys good to hear they are looking into it a bit deeper...and who knows it might just be a strange BFP coming your way?!?

sevans great to have you back and feeling positive. Its hard not to be with at least 1 BFP on here a week.

Have been busy BDing this week, lets hope it worked....have had some cramp/pains for the past few days, but am trying not to read too much into it. We have really paid more attention to my cycle this month and BD when we should have. I think i will spend the 2ww trying not to SS but i doubt i will be able to not POAS before the 7th....it seems too far away.

oh well better get some washing done...or will be going to work in PJ's.

Good luck to all for some more BFP this week xx

Hermya321 · 24/01/2010 12:01

quick question, but are sharp pains in my lower right hand side of my body normally a sign of ov? I did an ov test and it came back negative. I'm now a bit confused.

YorkshireTeaDrinker · 24/01/2010 12:15

Congratulations Sparkly - great to have a firm BFP!

Good to see you back on the list sevens.

Hope things go well today kaloki.

Good luck to everyone coming up to testing. There are some positive sounding symptoms here, maybe we'll squeeze in another January BFP? I am getting worried though, can february really be even more prolific than January? This has been a great start to the year.

We are still keeping up with regular BDing as I haven't had a firm sign that I've ovulated. (Although its now every other day - thank goodness! ). I don't have high expectations this month, but that doesn't stop me noticing every twich and gurgle hoping for signs of implantation!

mumnerves · 24/01/2010 12:55

Hermya321 : am going to Thailand so if we don't get BFP this cycle then I should ovulate on holiday and lets home that works then I got a positive OPK the day before I got any cramps, I think OPKs measure the LH surge which happens just before ovulation if I'm right? so you may have had your surge the night before?

Chance: well you're in the same boat as me! I was cramp spotting too, but not sure which ones were me ovulating or ahem my bowels (sorry TMI)

addie81 · 24/01/2010 13:55

Worriesome - that increase in temp sounds potentially very promising. Keeping fingers crossed for you!

maamalady · 24/01/2010 15:40

Congratulations, Sparkly!

I am feeling a bit down today, no real reason I think - no AF arrival but today I can't get ove the idea that she is probably going to arrive this week. My rational mind is trying to tell me that getting a BFP in the first month of trying is pretty damn unlikely, but I am hoping anyway! It is probably my rational side winning which is making me feel a bit down! Ah well, hopefully it won't last

kkas · 24/01/2010 19:09
