Claire I'm so so hoping for a BFP for you this month!!!

Mumsnerves I'm so so jealous of you!!

Chance Good look with your 2WW, maybe more BD would take your mind off of the wait.

I've come to the conclusion that the stabbing sharp pains from earlier either were me ovulating or some weird post pill thing. The OV tests have been negative, but either I'm doing them wrong or I've not managed to catch my LH surge. So so strange. Oh well I'm just gonna BD until the cows come home.

homebound · 24/01/2010 19:25

Wow congrats Ceebs!

So monday, tuesday, wednesday are my 'fertile' days...so dont come a knockin if the cribs' a rockin'! LOL, have made a pleasurable effort this weekend just for ourselves though! Who knows considering that my last cycle was some 80 odd days long..and let me tell ya...AF was a bitch when she came!! Hoping this is our month since our last month/s were completely screwed up! No stressors to speak of this month though so it might just be free sailing.

Have just spent two weeks back home with my family and friends...every single one of my bridesmaids has a baby and i got married second out of the four of us!! UGH! now in fairness they dated their men longer than i did...but even still!! Two of them were honeymoon babies and they were the two that got married after me! ARGH!

Nightmare about whiteroses....hope all is ok hun...but that would be the worst thing..though i always worry about my sister in law coming on here and putting two and two together because im sure she is trying now too...im so selfish but im gonna need her help when i have a wee one with my parents being so far away so i dont want to get preggers at the same time!! LOL..sounds terrible doesnt it...oh well..if its meant to be its meant to be and we will love each others babies and they will have a cousin the same age, which is another bonus! Can anyone say alternate weekends?! lol...jj

Its been a long time since ive actually posted, but i have been trying to keep up and im so happy for the bfp's and am sorry about any MC's, we all know i know exactly what that feels like and im here for you if you have recently as its a real blow to the system in many ways.

Happy frolicking!!~

bunnygirl80 · 24/01/2010 21:56

worrisome an increase in temp at this point in your cycle sounds promising. Hope it stays high for you.

homebound I hope this cycle is more of a normal length for you this time

I think my cycles may actually be starting to settle down. AF was just like they were pre-pill for the first time, and actually lasted a reasonable length unlike last month's 13 days of spotting. I'm not entirely sure when I'll ov though as it's been very late the last couple of cycles - am just going for bd every other day until I get a temp rise

OP posts:
mumnerves · 24/01/2010 23:34

Calyx there's still the 1% so good luck!

bunnygirl80 glad your cycles are settling down

evilgiraffe hope af doesn't get you!

yorkshire We were bd-ing every other day too and found it far less stressful

Good luck all who are testing this week, have a good monday everyone!

DrewsGirl · 25/01/2010 07:59

Hermya - Are you doing digital ov sticks?

Homebound - Lol at so dont come a knockin if the cribs' a rockin'!

Evil - Hope your feeling better today!

I am still in 2ww, DH is symptom spotting more than me, he is looking on the internet to find symptoms that he can say i have got! He found on 1 site that your nipples grow when your pg and he has decided my nipples have grown so i must be pg!

Hermya321 · 25/01/2010 08:23

Drewsgirl No I'm doing those dip stick tests that you can get off of ebay. I've been testing everyday, but I'm not sure if I've just missed my surge. I've just looked at my chart on fertility friend as well, I had a temp dip and then a surge and now it's settled down again. Plus my tummys still a bit crampy and achey. Plus I think I had my EWCM as well.

To be honest, this morning is the first time I've put all these things together so I'm hoping that all the BD has worked.

Your DH sounds lovely and quite funny. Good luck on your 2WW.

kkas · 25/01/2010 09:20

morning everyone - no news or exciting symptoms here.... but still only 6 DPO and don't think we got timing right here anyway. any testers today?

capricorn76 · 25/01/2010 10:25

Oh I give up. My arch nemesis is pregnant In addition one of my friends told me that she's pregnant with her second over the weekend and I can't even conceive my first!

There are 4 days left on my cycle and I have no symptoms of anything apart from being a little bloated last week and having mild back pain (I sometimes suffer with back pain anyway). Normally my breasts get bigger and I get depressed but that hasn't happened this cycle. This clearly means that nothings going to happen this month.

fudgecat · 25/01/2010 10:49

Sorry to hear you are feeling down capricorn i know the feeling tho - when TTC it just seems like baby related stuff is just everywhere. Even watching countryfile last night there was a group of midwives who had an allotment !!! grrrr

dont give up hope for this month, there is always hope until AF arrives

mumnerves · 25/01/2010 12:23

Capricorn76 sorry to hear everyone else seems to be getting preggers around you

I felt exactly the same last cycle and it always has to be towards the end of the cycle when you're moody anyway doesn't it?

Big hugs, we'll all get there eventually fingers crossed!

LinzRed · 25/01/2010 13:05

Can I jump into this thread - you all seem to know each other! I stopped taking pill on Thursday and just waiting for cycle to return. Bit worried cos a few years ago DH and I thought it was right time and stopped pill and cycle didn't return for the 4 months i was off pill. Won't bore with details but went back on pill but now definitely both ready for first baby. I suppose we should just get down to business and not worry about timing and temps and OV tests etc for now but it is hard not to get obsessed - think DH is already wondering if I'm going to turn into a mental case who talks about nothing else.Just wondered if anyone else's cycle took a while to return after pill?

fudgecat · 25/01/2010 13:24

hiya LinzRed and welcome to the thread

I stopped the pill last March and the following month AF was bang on time but then a 6 weeks gap til the next one. I spoke to nhs direct who said that the 1st AF may have been my body being on auto-pilot from having been on the pill for so long but after that they have settled down to a UCL of 28-30 days. Hope this is of some help.

pixiestix · 25/01/2010 14:32

Hello LinzRed! My cycle fell into an average of 28 days straight away, but I was warned by my doctor that it can take 6 months to get the pill out of your system, and it duly took me 7 months to fall pg. Hope your time on this thread is swift!

mumnerves · 25/01/2010 14:42

Hi LinzRed and welcome!

We're all a obssessed to a big small extent
(hence the label crazy baby ladies)

My colleague just came off the pill and got BFP straight away, then again I know others where it's taken months, so just lay back and enjoy the 'ride' I know it's easier said than done especially when you've been trying to prevent it for so long, but join us in a moan if you need to!

kurlyvoice · 25/01/2010 15:38

Can I join too? I came off the pill (Micronor) at the start of the month and am waiting for my AF to arrive. Planning to TTC in March (so that I can get all of my maternity entitlements) but really want to know that everything inside is working normally! But I am already feeling much better after reading this thread and knowing that it isn't just me who worries about every little bump and gurgle... (It's also taken me about half an hour to decipher all of these acronyms, so I hope I used the right ones!)

Hermya321 · 25/01/2010 18:42

I know it's a bit TMI, but had some EWCM this morning and a few more crampy type pains. I've told DH he's on a promise. I swear he looks like Christmas has come early. On my second of two courses this week, had the first exam this morning and failed but I felt a little bit better as everybody else failed as well. We get to have another go at it, so it just means more revision for me . I found out yesterday though that two people I know are pg, I'm wondering who the next one will be and kinda hoping that it'll be me. But, knowing my luck it will be one of my other friends.

Capricorn You have an arch nemesis?? I'm sorry that she fell pg before you though. It's never nice when that happens.

Fudge Why did they have a allotment?

Welcome Lindz and Kurly

Right am off to stage an ambush.

chalky3 · 25/01/2010 19:14

Hello everyone. Been absent for a while as we were away last week, it's really nice to have a little holiday at this time of year. Just realised this new thread was here, posted on the old one before realising! I see there have been some BFPs in the last week, congrats Hobnob, MadameG, pixiestix, ceebs & sparklyrainbow!. 2010 is looking to be a fertile year!
I've updated my stats as my CD wasn't correct. I'm off to catch up on everyone's posts now, hope everyone is alright.

Welcome LinzRed & kurlyvoice! This is a great place to share all you're TTC experiences and feel that you're not alone, we really are 'crazy baby ladies' on this thread!

LinzRed, my cycles have been all varied between 26 & 40 days since coming off the pill 6 months ago, I was on it for years before that. I think/hope things are settling down now though. Try not to worry if your CL isn't 'normal' to start with, easier said than done though. You can always talk to us on here, we know what it's like TTC!

Been reading through everyone's posts for the last week. Too many to reply to but glad everyone is doing ok and that there have been some positive results

Kaloki · 25/01/2010 21:20

Yay new people!! Hi!

I should be able to keep up with you all better now, got my PC set up again (for the first time since mid-December) so no more using my mobile to check on here.

30 days and counting now, so who's still in witha chance of winning a ?

bunnygirl80 · 25/01/2010 21:39

Welcome Linz and kurly capricorn sorry you're feeling so down. I had to admit though that I laughed at the thought of you having an arch nemesis....I thought only the likes of Batman have an arch nemesis so now I'm imagining which superhero you must be [smie]

linz like eveyone else has said it can take a variable amount of time for things to get back to normal after the pill. I had 2 29 day cycles and then a 36 day one, but things seem a bit more normal this month.

kaloki I guessed 32 so I could still win the {biscuit]! Do we all get a if AF stays away because you get a BFP?!

OP posts:
chancewouldbeafinething · 25/01/2010 21:54

mumsnerves I know what you mean...i am not sure which was which either LOL

Hermia I tried to use the ovulation tests this month too, and i did not see anything either. Apparently if you drink a lot of in the evening it can effect you tests ( I always eat fruit after dinner which i think screwed my ones up) so just do it in case !! Good luck with the ambush xx

capricorn76 Sorry to hear you are having a bad day - hope that the mild symptoms you are having are more than you think!

Great to have you back Kaloki you must be glad to finally get back to normal I had 29 so i am out Hope it arrives soon though!

Welcome newcomers linzred & kurly hope you dont get too scared by the crazy baby ladies

I am trying not to obsess over every twinge in my tummy, counting down now only 12 days to go (to test that is

Fingers crossed for some more BFP this week!

chancewouldbeafinething · 25/01/2010 21:58

and PS Chalky did you go anywhere nice and hot? Hope you had a relaxing break....might have a good effect

Kaloki · 25/01/2010 23:01

Bunnygirl you'll all get a [giant chocolate cake] if it's a BFP. But it's extremely unlikely this month

Pidgin · 26/01/2010 07:28

hello all, just been catching up - welcome to new people and congratulations Ceebs05!!

AF nearly due for me and I don't think I'm pg so trying to look forward to starting a new cycle..

Kaloki I may have missed this but when are you testing?

happy Tuesday everyone...

Hermya321 · 26/01/2010 07:34

Morning Ladies!!! How are you all this fine (well not snowy) day?

Weirdness abounding this morning, got up half an hour before my alarm clock for some reason, went to the bath room and then came back to bed.

I was lying there and I swear, (either I've really spent too much time on this thread or this actually happened) it felt like someone had poured a can of diet coke into my tummy. It lasted for about twenty minutes. I still feel nauscous though (my crunchy nut cornflakes didn't appeal at all).

Chance All I can say is mission accomplished. I'm still going to do the OV sticks, but I'm not putting much faith in them.

Linz I came off my pill earlier this month, my advice would be to keep track of things on fertility friend or in your diary. It's been helping me. Good luck and welcome to the madness!!

Anyway, I'm offski!!
