claireinthecommunity · 08/03/2010 18:51

Kaloki, just read through your thread that you linked to , so sorry you are having to deal with this, I don't know very much about what you are going through, but have dealt with the CAB in the past and they were extremely helpful - best wishes to you and your DP X. (and thank you for letting us know).

Hey kurly, yes I'm sure we still have time, but thanks for the extra reassurance (that sounds sarcastic - it's not meant to ).

I'm planning on jumping DH this evening on the sofa!

claireinthecommunity · 08/03/2010 18:54

Congratulations DrewsGirl

zippys · 08/03/2010 19:17

Calyx I struggle posting on my iphone but it is good for quick updates

Bunny ? hope your sunburn is getting better. I went for a run yesterday but no chance of sunburn here!

seablue ? hope you have fun on your month off and not too many hangovers.

haloflo ? it is so easy to symptom spot isnt it! At least you have a tidy room now.

mumsnerves ? sorry if I am being stupid but what is varicoceles? Hope the swimmers test goes well.

Kurly - glad to hear you are off to the docs, I will keep my fingers crossed for you.

Felicity I hope your Dads scan goes well, I am still waiting for my results maybe a week or so yet!

Mrswaj sorry to hear you think you missed ov

Good evening everyone!

Ariesgirl We started off trying the cheaper option of nuts etc. I bought some brazil nuts with the intention that he had some everyday ( we called them nut nuts ) But it just never happened and I think he got sick of eating them just for the sake of it. Hence the expensive option of the vitamins. Also wellman has the maca and L-carnitine that is supposed to be good for the swimmers

lol at felicityflick I would love to have that as a fb status, just imagine the comments! Glad your cycles are finally settling down!

kaloki I read your link and things sound awful! at least you know that they were in the wrong and you'll get something back at some point. It's times like these when you know who your real friends are isn't it. Hope you manage to get it sorted really soon!

evilgiraffe ooooh! sounding good, keeping my fingers crossed for you!

kurlyvoice actually, speaking of ad card points, I used mine to pay for the vits so didn't feel like I had to fork anything else out. I bought a dishwasher from them earlier this year and got lots of points. I just hope I don't have to pay for the next 3 months worth! Your cycle is over 60 days now??! I'm keeping my fingers crossed that something happens soon for you

drewsgirl Congratulations on the BFP!! That's cheered me up and will now save up for a monitor. (something else to obsess keep my eye on)

claire hope you managed to jump DH

Zippys Varicoceles are enlarged veins on the scrotum that can cause infertility in men We have decided to give ourselves one more cycle and then he's going to get a test, I think we just want one more go without any investigations.

I went to the GP today to get myself checked up. She did a swab and internal examination (sorry TMI) and is going to send me for a scan and blood tests. I feel a bit better now that at least hopefully these will come back negative and I can relax a bit I'm still getting twinges in my right ovary though

Dinkytinky · 08/03/2010 20:53

Hi everyone,I'm new and on cycle 1 and planning to test sometime after the 19 is anyone else is would be great to test together/moan and symptom spot until then xxx

Ariesgirl · 08/03/2010 21:21

Stick em on your cereal, girl! You don't have to chomp endlessly, squirrel-like, on virgin nuts.

Having said that I know f all about maca and L-carnitine.

MrsWajs · 08/03/2010 22:35

Thanks zippys still undecided as to whether or not to do one more ov test tomorrow just to make sure?!?!?! Decisions decisions!

Dinkytinky Hi! I'm pretty new on this site too but loving it so far! It's good to know there are other people going through/feeling exactly the same as you!

Dinkytinky · 08/03/2010 23:36

Mrs wahj - oh my goodness I know! I feel less crazy now,my group of friends still says 'oh dear' when a girl falls pregnant and I'm the one bouncing up and down and secretly awwwfully jealous haha, I'm only 4 days post ovulation and managed to convinced myself my boob were feeling weird... Had a look and realised I had crumbs in my bra.... Xx

DrewsGirl BFP 4 March

Morning all,

Just a quick post from me. kaloki- I've read your other thread and am so sorry to hear how poorly treated you have been. The advice on the other thread is excellent and I really hope that today is a better day in terms of getting things sorted.

Welcome to dinkytinky and thanks for all your kind wishes about my ovving and FB status- he he!!

xxx

DrewsGirl · 09/03/2010 07:30

Mumsnerves - I bought mine off ebay £50 they are like £99 at boots so keep your eye out for a bargain!

Thanks to everyone who has sent me congrats messages

zippys · 09/03/2010 08:33

Hi Dinkytinky everyone is lovely here and we will all help you symptom spot

Mumsnerves glad the docs are doing some tests, hopefully it will be the key to getting your BFP as anyone waiting for appointments or test results seems to get a BFP.

Well I have been taking a quick look at my dates also read obsessing and think that on average my cycle is 34 days and therefore am two days late today as you know I did a test on Friday - BFN (but that could have been too early)

Now I have a weird sensation today, like a fizzing down below (weird I know) Now that may mean AF is on her evil way or could it be something else - or am I going mad!!! I am sure that by the time most of you read this AF will have appeared but have this glimmer of hope I am trying to not get too excited about.

kkas · 09/03/2010 08:42

drewsgirl congrats! so happy for you!!!

zippys you are getting me all excited now! do you think you will test again soon?

kaloki i read through your thread too and am so sorry you have been treated that way. i don't have any words of wisdom i'm afraid but i do have a hand to hold if you need it

welcome dinkytinky!

zippys · 09/03/2010 09:38

I dont know Kkas I am going to try to hold off until the weekend but not sure if I have the resolve to hold out that long as that would be my longest cycle yet. But I think deep down I am sure it will be negative anyway.

Kaloki · 09/03/2010 10:56

Thanks everyone

zippys Fizzing?! Hope AF still hasn't arrived for you!

FelicityFlick · 09/03/2010 11:23

OOOO Zippys!!

Forgot to congratulate you earlier Drewsgirl so sorry! Sending big congrats your way xxx

claireinthecommunity · 09/03/2010 12:09

Oooh Zippy!! any news?

Welcome to Dinkytinky

I'm afraid my plans for last night were scuppered, no fault of our own. Doesn't seem to be falling into place for us this month, as far as I know I haven't OVd yet so we've still got time.

MrsWajs · 09/03/2010 13:02

Ooooh zippys how exciting!! Not sure how you have the will power to hold off til the weekend before testing!! Hope AF doesn't arrive for you before then!

Dinkytinky lol @ crumbs in the bra!! I'm also roughly 4 days post ov (dunno for sure cus couldn't ov test over weekend)so we're almost in sync with our cycle!
I also have "oh dear" friends but I also have one pg friend and another also ttc so it's good to have them to speak to as well, nothing worse than having friends who are anti-baby!

Sulking with OH today Came home drunk at 1am this morning - Idiot

Did ov test this morning and still negative so pretty sure it was over the weekend!!
So not doing any more for this cycle.

maamalady · 09/03/2010 13:04

Come on Zippy, do a test with me tomorrow morning, you know you want to... I am also expecting a BFN (again), so we can commiserate with each other when the inevitable happens You never know, BFPs are possible!

I have been feeling a bit queasy over the last few days but am trying not to read too much in to it as I have a fairly delicate stomach usually anyway. Yet ANOTHER colleague announced her pregnancy today as well - very happy for her but it is mostly very funny as that puts the current department total to four of fourteen women pregnant! Very pleased for them, but also a bit

Ariesgirl · 09/03/2010 13:54

Good luck testers.
Good luck SWI-ers.
Good luck 2WW-ers

Myself, I am none of the above. I am in that almost post AF no-(wo)man's land.

Still it's a lovely day and the daffs are out. What more is there in life?

zippys · 09/03/2010 13:58

I know I know fizzing is plain weird but only way to describe it!

No sign of AF yet, but not too hopeful as I have had a few 38 or 39 day cycles. So as much as the poas addict in me wants to test with you tommorow evilgiraffe I think I should wait until the weekend. I know what you mean about other people announcing they are pregnant, I get v {envy} as well. But as you have said it may be a BFP

Claire sorry your plans were scuppered, it always seems to be the way, if I plan to SWI we dont, then this month when I had other things on my mind we did!

Mrswaj - hope your oh makes it up to you today and is extra nice.

No symptoms to report, boobs still smae size (do they still grow as much when they are huge already?) Another reason for not testing until the weekend, is the fact that I only have a CB digital at home and was saving that until I had got a BFP on a cheap test first (it has been collecting a lot dust lately!)

Dinkytinky · 09/03/2010 16:55

Mrs waj-Ohh bad man!mines the same, the worst bit is the kebabs he brings back, stinking things!even the cat won't touch it! So excited they we seem to be synced haha, when is your AF due? Mines the 19th-ish hopefully I shall get a bfp for my birthday the next day! If not I will be a moody cow and will sit in the bath all day with a box o choccies! I have been having a few twinges down there but no other symptoms so far, isn't it silly that if I woke up tomorrow morning puking then I would be very pleased indeed?!
Thankyou everyone for being so welcoming :-)

Dinkytinky · 09/03/2010 17:19

Oohh I just thought, maybe this time next year we'll all celebrating mothers day, fingers crossed anyway xxxx

haloflo · 09/03/2010 17:36

Hello hello

Just a quick sympton update from me, still got the same light lower back cramps & I had heartburn sunday night! It hasn't reappeared though so I don't think that counts a sympton. I also have developed a sore throat & the beginnings of a cold. I was going to go for a run tonight but instead am going to take it easy.

Boobs are the same, although I kept have to (subtley) rearrange my bra at work today!

AF isn't due to the 15th and im unsure how I feel about early testing. I know its hard to get a BFN but at the same time I want to know!! (I came home at lunchtime yesterday & today to avoid an impulse test purchases)

I am just hoping I don't end up with a BFN and a cold!

Ariesgirl Maybe you could start the warming up ready for the SWI phase?

Hi to Mrswaj & Dinkytinky - I'm still new around here but like it very much!

Good luck tomorrow morning evilgriffe and good luck zippys whenever you test.
