After 18m persuading DH, we are finally (v gently ) TTc no 3.
As I am now 35, am convinced my fertility days are behind me.
Anyone in a similar position and needing to share support?

Hello, can I join as well... I am 36 and just starting to look forward again and thinking about getting back on the TTC road again after unfortunately having a missed miscarriage at 12 wks recently.

Have 2 dc's already and having read the thread think this is where I need to be! Hope to get to know you all better soon.

Dropdeadfred · 11/10/2008 22:27

spats · 18/10/2008 11:21

where is everyone on their cycle. I am CD7 so next week is the big BD. I have brought OPK ready and we are going to London for weekend so hopefully timing will be good. Anyone testing soon? We need some good news.

Elliegant · 25/10/2008 11:14

Hi, anyone out there,

Am on cd 24, getting anxious now because last two cycles were only 25 days (am usually 28 days), so praying AF doesn't arrive over weekend. All please keep fingers crossed.

ladylush · 25/10/2008 14:17

ladylush · 25/10/2008 16:47

Hi Scorpio Thanks It's been a really difficult year but I feel ready to try again. I do lurk now and then, so I know Millie is doing well. How are you?

Sunnydale · 25/10/2008 16:47

Hello, would you mind if I joined your thread? I am really in need of some friends who are TTC too. I'm 38, and TTC DC2 after having a termination at 14 weeks (please don't judge me, but the baby was Downs and had a heart defect). Despite having the termination 8 weeks ago, I've still not had AF, which makes trying to predict OV impossible, since I don't even know whether I am or not. To make matters worse, what I thought might be pregnancy symptoms turned out to be an umbilical hernia, whatever the heck that is. So now I have to have an operation, and I'm panicking as it's bound to make AF come even later. My god, maybe the termination has thrown me into early menopause. And obviously the guilt over the termination is making me convinced I deserve it. If this all sounds too depressing for your thread then by all means tell me and I'll try to find one called 38 And No Hope Left or whatever (weak attempt at humour). Otherwise, I'd love to join and hear some happy news, and hopefully offer support to those with less happy news. Thanks v much...

ladylush · 25/10/2008 16:48

Not good news this evening. Have had spotting. Trying to be positive but it is very hard

CoteDAzur · 27/10/2008 15:10

Congratulations ladylush! Keep your spirits up. Spotting doesn't mean anything by itself. Good luck.

scorpio1 · 27/10/2008 15:11

How are you today, LL? Sorry to hear of spotting.

spats · 27/10/2008 19:59

congrats ladylush

Anyone use opk? i have posted this on tons of threads but i need some reassurance. I did opk last month and got pos on CD16. This month i am CD17 and still no pos. Used same brand. Did test at weekend in morning and then we went away and couldn't test until sun night. Could i have missed surge. Would it come and go so quickly. Anyone know? please! help! xx

ladylush · 27/10/2008 20:42

Feeling down still but trying to stay positive. No pain, but still orangy/brown stuff when I wipe. Sorry if tmi Worse thing is, I know there is no point going to EPU at only 4 weeks gestation cos they won't see anything. In the past my body has dealt with m/c in a very inefficient way, so I face a waiting game either way - and a lengthy wait before ttc again
