Hi all just looking for some advice really feeling very anxious. Yesterday at only 10dpo I got 4 positive tests including one clear blue digital it said Pregnant 1-2 weeks.

then this morning I took a pregnancy test that was extremely cheap (pack of 3) with only a 20ml HCG sensitivity and the line was BARELY visable. This was with first morning urine! So I instantly thought I was having a chemical.

i went to the shop and got a more sensitive clear blue test. And it’s come back positive straight away - but in your opinion is the line colour ok for 11dpo?

As getting mixed signals on the cheap tests - not sure if I should be concerned. A doctor won’t see me will they?

thanks Jess

@sellingupslow How funny the scans are on the same day again! I guess our dates are so similar it was always going to be a high probability!

Sorry you’re being sick daily, that’s so tough going and really hope it eases for you soon. Not long until we’re halfway through!

Wonder when we’ll feel first movements - I have an anterior placenta so may take longer to feel anything Sad

Have you all booked any antenatal classes? The ones for July due dates were nearly booked out when we looked so we’ve booked on - they start in May! Also looking up hypobirthing so can be as prepared as possible…..

Hi ladies @Brownbottle @sellingupslow hope you’re both well! Oh sorry to hear you’re feeling sick @sellingupslow

at 16 weeks mine lifted but prior to that I had to go on medication and it saved my life so don’t feel bad if you need to take it. It should calm down for you soon.

cant believe how close our due dates are!!!

we found out we’re having a little boy :) he seems to be doing very well in there and I’m feeling little flutters I believe. Xx

@Brownbottle I know, it's so cool that we can share our news on the same days!

Thank you, I'm hoping it eases soon @JDecember21! It's only once a day thankfully at lunch time so it's not too bad!!

I'm not doing any antenatal but only because it's baby 2 for me so I've done it all before

@JDecember21 how cute that you can feel flutters 🥹 I can feel and see movement but weirdly no kicks, only when she seems to be turning! @Brownbottle hopefully we'll feel something soon!!

Ahh how amazing a little boy 🥹💙
@Brownbottle will you be finding out what you're having?

Brownbottle · 06/02/2025 19:20

@JDecember21 Congrats on the little boy! Exciting you’re feeling flutters too.

@sellingupslow I’m not sure if we’ll find out, I’d like to but partner prefers not to (but will ultimately go with what I want), wonder if we can ask the sonographer to write it down for later. I’m not sure how obvious it being a boy would be on screen anyway, maybe only if they show it to you! Are you finding out?

I really hope it’s not too long before I feel flutters, it would be so reassuring…

@Brownbottle @sellingupslow hi ladies! Just wanted to say if you have your 20 week scan coming up hope it all goes well. I have mine later this afternoon and I’ll let you guys know how it goes. Hope you’re all doing well. I’ve started to feel movements last few weeks!! Xx

@JDecember21 how did it go?

How is everyone doing? I had mine last week, it went well! I do have SO many appointments though it's quite overwhelming! I have four between now and April 1! I never had this many with my first! Everything is going well but because my daughter was born under the 10th centile, and I had an emergency c section, I'm now consultant led. So I'm having extra growth scans and a scan to measure cervical length and another scan to check that the umbilical cord is providing all nutrients as it should. They're not concerned but just double checking everything is fine!

Hope you're all well and not feeling too bad. We have just started decorating baby room and I have just started feeling kicks too, it's so much later than my first baby but this time I have an anterior placenta!

JDecember21 · 03/03/2025 21:31

@sellingupslow ahhh amazing so glad you’re well went! And hey I suppose it’s better for them to be too cautious than not cautious enough. I’m sure it’ll go fine though sending lots of love :)

yes I hear very normal with an anterior placenta! We are moving out at the end of May so won’t get to decorate nursery till then but I have been hoarding items mainly from vinted haha!!

so pleased as today the 20 week scan went perfectly literally everything is ‘normal’ they said. So that was a huge relief.

Sorry I went awol there! Glad your scans went well @JDecember21 and @sellingupslow !

That is a lot of appointments @sellingupslow but great that they’re being so thorough double checking everything. Hope you’re feeling less sick now too.

Our 20 week scan also went well, baby doing fine! We didn’t find out the sex in the end!
I do have a low lying placenta and it’s partially covering cervix so I have consultant appointment and extra scan at 32 weeks to see if it’s moved up, otherwise I may have to have a slightly early C-section I think. I’ve asked midwives some questions via email but consultant appointment not until 3rd April so I still have quite a few questions about risks etc. I know I can’t travel/do strenuous exercise/have sex due to heavy bleeding risk. Has made me pretty nervous tbh!

Hope you’re both doing well! I’m also feeling lots of little kicks too Smile
