11DPO positive - but concerned

Hi all just looking for some advice really feeling very anxious. Yesterday at only 10dpo I got 4 positive tests including one clear blue digital it said Pregnant 1-2 weeks.

then this morning I took a pregnancy test that was extremely cheap (pack of 3) with only a 20ml HCG sensitivity and the line was BARELY visable. This was with first morning urine! So I instantly thought I was having a chemical.

i went to the shop and got a more sensitive clear blue test. And it’s come back positive straight away - but in your opinion is the line colour ok for 11dpo?

As getting mixed signals on the cheap tests - not sure if I should be concerned. A doctor won’t see me will they?

I’ve booked a reassurance scan for the 7 ish week mark too. I know exactly what you mean the anxiety is definitely taking over.

I’ve had a dull ache / kind of like period cramps but also very different kind of more felt in my bladder area. But I would say if ever unsure just call your doctor! But I know a level is normal apparently xx

all I can say is that I know this time will pass and I think once we have that first scan we will be feeling hopefully a lot better- maybe we just need to keep ourselves busy for now!! Still feels very surreal for me xx

@Brownbottle @sellingupslow also not sure if I mentioned before but the hcg only rises every 2-3 days so that might be why you don’t see a difference in tests. Also yes it is very normal for some people to have no symptoms at all! Everyone is different. Xx

That looks good to me, especially if not first wee. Has it lightened? I’ve stopped doing tests, maybe will do one at weekend but I don’t think it can show much more at this stage unfortunately

They're definitely not getting lighter but they just seem to have stopped getting darker..

I've just booked a private HCG blood test for 2:20 today.. I've had one baby before and never felt anywhere near this anxious but I've had a loss too and this is making me feel awful!

I'm convinced something isn't right ☹️ I'll update when I get my bloods!

Hey lovely yes I have this is mine tbh I think yours looks great!!! I read somewhere that sometimes they can only get so high before they plateau. It looks just as dark as control line to me! But maybe the docs reassurance might help? X @sellingupslow

Struggled to sleep lash night as I've started getting restless legs! I had it with my first and wow it's up top with one of the worst pregnancy symptoms 😂 although right now I'm feeling grateful for any symptoms

i’m in freak out mode now as my tests aren’t getting darker and my bbt seems to be dropping! Still got all the symptoms but just feeling really paranoid about that so I’ve called the docs to see if they can do anything to help! Xx @sellingupslow

Just got my HCG back at 689 which I think is good!

@sellingupslow hi! Yay that’s great! So happy for you and yes any symptoms are deffo good. So unfortunately I missed the docs calls as I fell back to sleep great - so might have to call them back tomorrow but to be honest I’m debating just paying for a private one like you, I cba for the docs and their judgements!!

so this is where I am at today 16dpo with a 25ml strength cheap test. I’ve found my 2nd morning wee is better than 1st for some reason. I also took another clear blue digi yesterday and it’s increased from 1-2, to 2-3 weeks which is right on track so praying that’s a good sign

I was concerned about the bbt as mine seems to be dropping BUT it’s not at my baseline yet so I’m trying to not get too concerned plus I know the bbt can vary massively depending on lots of factors. I also found that my temperature is nearly a whole degree Celsius higher or lower depending on which method I take it.

I think after today I’m going to have to stop testing and temping, and just try and keep my stress levels down because I keep going down a worm hole and it’s no good!! Hope you’re holding up ok.

on the plus side my boobs are extremely sore today! lol xx

The digital is really good news, how are you feeling today?

Did you manage to get a blood test sorted?

I managed to get my GP to do a second HCG test after the midwife called me today to get me booked in for my first appointment (Dec) and told me to not pay and ask the GP to order one, which he did, so hopefully yours does too!

ah that’s great!! No I didn’t haha I’m in the office as well the next few days so I think I’m just going to leave it and hope for the best, when I called the docs this morning the receptionist didn’t know what a hcg test was😂

feel like I’m going to leave it for the weekend then going to take my last clear blue digital on Tuesday, if it says 3+ and still on track then I’m going to leave it but if not I’ll call them for sure! Xxx

That's a good idea! I think the stress doesn't help and I need to keep reminding myself that stressing won't change the outcome

I'm going to do another digital on sat and hope for 3+!

It’s very hard isn’t it as we’re kind of in this limbo period where we are trying to stay positive but literally have no control on the outcome apart from TRYING to relax lol.

i feel also guilty like when i imagined I found out I was pregnant I’d be elated, but instead I’m just anxious about something going wrong???

i think a break from the testing for the weekend will definitely do us some good :) but I think it’s all about perspective and focussing on what is going right for us right now. As long as I have symptoms as well I feel like that’s always a good sign.

@sellingupslow hi!! To be honest I’m in a much better place really!! I’d say my main symptom at the moment is just tiredness really as waking up in the night to wee every night now haha. No other main symptoms at the moment. I feel a lot better I think cos I’ve stopped temping and testing. I think at the moment I’m very much like trying to almost ignore that it’s happening 😂 / but I’ve been trying to listen to my body and rest when I need to etc. just can’t wait for that first scan!!!! I think genuinely that’s when it’ll hit me as it still doesn’t feel real.

Amazing, @JDecember21, I'm feeling the same! I'm gonna do a digital tomorrow but I think everything is completely fine!

I'm also exhausted and slightly sore boobs but nothing else!

Hello, I’ve not been posting as much as just so nervous! Things are still ok (I think?!) got pretty dark tests on my easy at home strips, I have the weeks digital I was going to do on Sunday and hope I get 2-3 or 3+ but know they’re not always reliable! And then I definitely will stop testing!!

I was going to book a scan when I’m 7 weeks and 3 days on 6th December, hoping there might be a heartbeat to see by then?? 3 weeks away but feels like an age and I’m really hoping I get no pains or bleeds until then!
