11DPO positive - but concerned

Hi all just looking for some advice really feeling very anxious. Yesterday at only 10dpo I got 4 positive tests including one clear blue digital it said Pregnant 1-2 weeks.

then this morning I took a pregnancy test that was extremely cheap (pack of 3) with only a 20ml HCG sensitivity and the line was BARELY visable. This was with first morning urine! So I instantly thought I was having a chemical.

i went to the shop and got a more sensitive clear blue test. And it’s come back positive straight away - but in your opinion is the line colour ok for 11dpo?

As getting mixed signals on the cheap tests - not sure if I should be concerned. A doctor won’t see me will they?

thanks Jess

How’s everyone doing? I have now finally booked my private scan for Friday 13th! Hoping everything is ok and can see baby.

Feeling tired and groggy today, quite a lot of food aversions & think my dinner will either be some chips or a jacket potato…very healthy! How’s everyone’s eating been?

Runsandbuns · 05/12/2024 12:04

@Brownbottle how exciting, you've booked it for next friday!! You should definitely see more than I did by then- how far along are you now?

I'm doing okay, just absolutely shattered. Nausea isn't too bad, get waves in the morning and evening but very manageable. I'm just very nervous for the next few weeks of Christmas parties and drinks, especially with work and client events as don't want them spotting it just yet- as we have some big moves in my company and don't want to get penalised for being pregnant, Need to master the art of fake drinking....

Brownbottle · 05/12/2024 13:35

Thanks @Runsandbuns I’m 7 weeks 3 days today (going by last period) and would be 8 weeks 4 days on 13th, all being well.

Sorry you’re so shattered! At least the nausea is manageable ish! Yeah I get the anxiety, I’d just keep a glass in your hand and chuck a bit out when you can, or get drinks which look like alcohol but aren’t - lemonade that looks like G&T?

We have work Christmas dinner next week and heavy dinners with meat and gravy make me feel sick so I’m not sure how it will go! Hard to fake drink when ordering from table so not sure how I’ll do that!

JDecember21 · 05/12/2024 20:45

@Brownbottle another Friday 13th scan!!! At least there’s 3 of us in the same boat that day 😂 mine is at 8.15 am so I’ll let you guys know straight after an update on the potential twins!!

@Runsandbuns ah bless you I know what you mean!! Although by law they’re not allowed to do anything due to being pregnant through!! However I know what you mean!! Could you use the anti biotic lie? Tbh you can get 0% gin and stuff now too!!

guys I have also started taking Magnesium and B6 since yesterday and it’s REALLY taken the edge off my sickness and actually stopped me from needing to eat every 30 mins something to do with balancing blood sugar so deffo give it a go!!

im trying to stay more positive and just accept the fact that I haven’t got the energy to clean atm, workout or anything else other than work.

i have lots of social plans though over the next few weeks and supposed to be going to Paris in December for my bday and now I’m absolutely dreading it 😂 can’t wait for January to be honest xx

Hi everyone!

Lovely to hear all the updates! Friday 13th is gonna be a lucky day!! ❤️❤️

I had a scan today measuring 8weeks exactly - we have a mini gender reveal on Saturday and I needed to make sure everything was ok before we celebrate 🥹❤️

Glad you're all doing as well as possible. I'm feeling completely fine now bar the tiredness (have felt fine since Monday) which is what prompted a scan. I'm also super emotional and cried at the sex scene in the holiday ?? 🤣🤣🤣

Runsandbuns · 06/12/2024 07:32

@Brownbottle ah you're about 3 days ahead of me - think we are all very very similar which is so nice! And yes feel you on the heavy gravy front- all I want is bread crisps and jacket potatoes 😂. Managed my first event last night which actually wasn't too bad just absolutely exhausted, so won't be as bad as I thought!

@JDecember21 ah so excited to see twin 2 next Friday and glad you're feeling better now. I've been taking b6 and magnesium from the start, so maybe that's why my nausea has been pretty mild!

@sellingupslowhow far along will you be next Friday?

Has anyone had any weird cravings? I am obsessed with virgin bloody Mary's atm, and I've never normally been a fan!

I've booked one more private scan for 20th so if all goes well, we are planning on telling just our families at Christmas 🤗

MyPinkFish · 06/12/2024 07:35

Hello ladies, I also have my 1st private scan on Friday 13th, 4.30pm and I should be 9 weeks, based on my last period ☺️ I've got my booking appointment today with the midwife xx

sellingupslow · 12/12/2024 07:21

Good luck with all the scans tomorrow everyone ❤️ let us know how they go xxx

Thanks, I’m really bloody nervous to be honest, it’s my first one and no idea what to expect and if there’s going to be anything to see, if the person doing it will be nice… Will have partner with me but just feels overwhelming. Was up in the night with nausea so knackered today which doesn’t help!

Brownbottle · 12/12/2024 11:52

And good luck to others with scans tomorrow, let us know how they go Flowers

sellingupslow · 12/12/2024 11:58

@Brownbottle

Aww sorry to hear you're feeling so nervous. It's a private scan right? From my experience all my private scans have been lovely. The ladies are generally really kind and reassuring.

At 8+4 you should be able to see a tiny little baby ❤️

This was mine at 7+6 (measuring 8+0) so I'm hopeful you'll get a nice clear scan ❤️

Let us know after but I 100% know how crippling the anxiety is. My 4 year old has just been poorly and it's been mentally exhausting for me, the anxiety is awful!

Sending lots of love xxx

Runsandbuns · 13/12/2024 09:58

Good luck with all the scans today ladies!
Please keep me updated on here x

Brownbottle · 13/12/2024 12:48

Scan went well! Measuring right on dates at 8 weeks 4 days ish, heartbeat strong at 176 which I thought is at upper end though? Saw little stubs of arm and leg wriggling around…all very surreal. Know it’s just a snapshot and still really early but relieved that as far as you can see everything is as good as it can be! Thanks for support ladies Flowers

Hope everyone else who was having scans went ok x

JDecember21 · 13/12/2024 14:53

Hi everyone so sorry for the radio silence so glad everyone’s scans have been going well and best wishes to everyone who’s still waiting! It’s deffo been a nervous wait the last few weeks. We went in and they’ve confirmed that we have one healthy baby, with a heartbeat, moving around measuring at 8w 5 days which is exactly what it always should have been.

The other twin sac unfortunately never developed its still completely empty and has shrunk so just hoping my body absorbs it which it seems to be doing. I’m feeling quite relieved about it to be honest as was quite daunted with the idea!!

I was so concerned that you hadn't posted. So glad to hear about your healthy bean 🥰🥰 xx

Runsandbuns · 13/12/2024 15:24

Ah so happy to hear such positive news all round - some healthy looking beans too! Sorry about the 2nd sac @JDecember21 but I think this may be a slight blessing.

I was hoping to get a bit of advice from you all. I've been completely knocked sideways with the flu the last few days, proper cough blocked up and headachy, fortunately been taking paracetamol last few days so been able to manage my temp but I am feeling so so anxious for the baby. I also cant tell if I've lost any pregnancy symptoms because I've got such strong flu symptoms, feel maybe I'm less nauseous but maybe it's in my head. Just wondering if anyone's had anything similar or if you think I should go the early pregnancy unit? Just looking for a bit of a sounding board as I'm so nervous and stressed

JDecember21 · 13/12/2024 16:14

Thanks so much @MyPinkFish

ah no @Runsandbuns so sorry to hear your poorly!!! In my opinion it probably makes sense that you’re not noticing the pregnancy symptoms anymore cos the other symptoms are so over bearing! If I were you and if you’re worried you could always contact your Gp and see if they recommend anything?

or could you go for another reassurance scan? My symptoms come and go and are different every day so I’m sure everything is fine!! Your body will be doing everything it can to protect the baby xx feel better soon!!

Congrats everyone!! So lovely to see! @MyPinkFish let us know how yours went!

@Runsandbuns I've been so so poorly this week too and so has my daughter- it's been rough! I feel the same as you; the only symptoms I have that I feel sure of are the massive boobs!! I do agree though, your body will be doing an amazing job protecting baby ❤️

Also letting you all know we found out we are having a second little girl 🥹❤️

Awh congrats on another little girl. We have a little girl too, she's 2 in March. My scan went great, measuring a few days ahead, 9 weeks and 3 days 🥰 xxx

Sorry missed this, lovely scan! Glad all is going well Smile

Brownbottle · 19/12/2024 23:27

How is everyone doing?

I’ve had some of my midwife bloods back with the below on antibodies - I have some idea of what it means now but no clue on next steps. Emailed midwives yesterday morning but no reply.
Anti-E detected

Probable R1R1(C+D+E-c-e+) Patient is K (Kell) Antigen POSITIVE

My thyroid TSH level seems to have shot up too which puts me at increased risk of miscarriage by quite a bit I think so I’m fairly worried SadMight try and get another scan after Christmas. 12 week scan is on 9th Jan. I don’t feel as nauseous though food aversions still very strong, my boobs aren’t as sore. Much more emotional and prone to tears this week. Feel tired but have had Covid and flu jabs in last week plus a cold. Gahhhh stressful!

Hope everyone else is a bit more calm!

Runsandbuns · 20/12/2024 08:42

How's everyone doing?x
Are any of you planning on telling close family at Christmas? Think we are going to tell mine and DH'a parents and our siblings
