11DPO positive - but concerned

Hi all just looking for some advice really feeling very anxious. Yesterday at only 10dpo I got 4 positive tests including one clear blue digital it said Pregnant 1-2 weeks.

then this morning I took a pregnancy test that was extremely cheap (pack of 3) with only a 20ml HCG sensitivity and the line was BARELY visable. This was with first morning urine! So I instantly thought I was having a chemical.

i went to the shop and got a more sensitive clear blue test. And it’s come back positive straight away - but in your opinion is the line colour ok for 11dpo?

As getting mixed signals on the cheap tests - not sure if I should be concerned. A doctor won’t see me will they?

@Runsandbuns hehe sorry I misread you already have a scan ignore me - yes I know what you mean the wait is torturous!!! I might have to start pretending I’m not pregnant and keep myself busy- but that’s hard when I have fatigue and my boobs are on fire 😂

Hi @JDecember21 and congrats too! That message has reassured me and you're right, there's a higher chance of us staying pregnant than not, just our mind prefers to fear the worst! Glad to have some people on here at similar stages and hopefully can keep eachother sane until we get our first scan! Xx

im extremely tired feel like I need to sleep for years 😂 though a lot of that is probably due to the mental stress of yesterday x

Afternoon @JDecember21 - ahh I'm the same I'm absolutely shattered and then I'm getting into bed and CANNOT sleep. So it's a real viscous circle.

I'm also paranoid that I don't have many other symptoms except slightly sore boobs and v bloated, but guess I'm still v early at 4 weeks 5 days. Trying to keep myself busy at work as the next few weeks are going to draaaag. When is your early scan?

@Runsandbuns well… the nurse yesterday said I was about 4.5 weeks (I thought I was 5 weeks) so we’re near enough the same and my symptoms come and go each day so I wouldn’t worry as everyone’s symptoms are different. Some days I don’t feel much at all. Sore boobs is the main one but again I only really notice that if I touch them lol.

yes I get exactly what you mean about being tired and not being able to sleep. My mind is so wired at the moment. this is my 1st pregnancy ever and Im constantly thinking all the time that somethings going to go wrong it’s awful!

the thing that spooked me was that I was so sure when I had ovulated but for her to say I was half a week behind scared me. That would have meant that my first bfp - which I thought was 10dpo - would have actually only been 8dpo which seems sooo early I would have literally implanted at 6dpo!

It was also scary being in the scan as even though she said she saw what ‘looked like a gestational sac’ my mind tells me that I’m not actually pregnant and it’s all made up 😂 despite all the blazing positive tests and no period lol.

im going back for another scan with the hospital in 2 weeks they want to follow up with me cos of the pains I was having (no bleeding thank god) which would by their calculations make me 6.5 weeks (and my calcs 7 weeks) there’s a chance that I might see a yolk sac, fetal pole and maybe even a heartbeat BUT I’m just really scared they might not see anything 🥺

it’s like my mind is just running wild!

@JDecember21 I can 10000% relate to all of that, reading that post felt like I was reading my mind 😂.
This is also my first ever pregnancy and I think I've done so much reading and googling I've convinced myself it won't last but actually chances are high for us now we've made it here.
I've stopped taking tests which is more and less stressful. We've just got to stay strong in this together! I've got my early private scan on 2nd December - which makes me 6 weeks 5 days and Im so desperately hoping that I can hear the heartbeat then!

Im 5+3 (I think!) and no symptoms today except slightly sore boobs and also feeling nervous 😬

@sellingupslow @JDecember21 we can all go mad together 🫠🫠🫠

Glad everyone is pretty similar though and reassured about the no symptoms. Have you both stopped testing?

@Runsandbuns @sellingupslow so put it this way I’ve got no tests left haha. I don’t plan on getting any more now just going to try and hold out for my scan!! X

@sellingupslow look at that dye stealer!!! Yes agreed. I’m going one more digital with date this weekend just to check it’s gone up to 3+ weeks but that’s only because of how anxious I am before my next hospital ultrasound.

i have been reading some stuff though and it’s totally normal to just see the gestational sac at 5 weeks pregnant. But next time I go I’m praying I see more!! Sooo nervous and trying to keep my mind off it but it’s so hard isn’t it. Any tips you have from last time let me know 😂 x

Hiya! Yes @JDecember21 I'm thinking of doing the same with the digital weeks, although I'm slightly scared incase it doesn't and then I'll panic!

Ah I'm struggling today feel like my symptoms are subsiding, don't feel nearly as tired as yesterday and swear my boobs are less tender- sure it's in my head/ hormone fluctuations but I can't stop reading into things.
I am still pretty bloated- are you having the same? Feel like all my trousers are too tight!
Gosh the countdown to this scan really is taking its time ...

@Runsandbuns tell me about it!!! Well when I’m taking the test it’ll be like nearly 4 weeks since conception so praying the 3+ will come up. But I get exactly what you mean by if it doesn’t then it’ll make me more anxious!!!

my symptoms genuinely come and go. Some days I feel awful and tired and others I feel semi ok. I’ve had to have a lay down most days though because of how tired I feel.

my boobs are extremely sore and yes I’m very bloated. I just feel kind of uncomfortable in that area like I’ve always got a full / kind of burny feeling near my uterus I don’t know how to explain it. It’s not like period pains but it’s just uncomfortable like something is going on. I haven’t had any bleeding though thank god. But yeah… this was is torturous. 12 days to go till next scan!! lol.

@Runsandbuns I wouldn't panic too much about the symptoms. Yesterday I was ok ish and today I cannot keep my eyes open!

My boobs do hurt but I only notice it when my 4 year old kicks me in the night or jumps on me during play 😂

I tested again the following morning and the cheapie also showed a positive. I've been testing like crazy - expensive habit!!

@Lulu89x thats great news!!! Yes haha indeed. I would suggest having a break for a bit now if you can it’s soo hard though. X

Haha I'm done with testing now! I bought 2 different tests and each pack and 2 in them. I had two Premom sticks too. I'm out now and don't plan on buying anymore! No need to test any further now lol

@sellingupslow ah okay this makes me feel better, I was absolutely shattered yday and weirdly feel completely fine today, even my bloat feels less but I need to stop reading between the lines and just roll with it (easier said that done).

My scan is 2nd dec- 6 weeks 6 days at that point so hoping I'll be able to hear the heart beat then 🤞🏻 when's yours?

Also- I am only feeling maybe a very few waves of mild nausea, but not sure if that's in my head. I've read it doesn't usually start until week 6 though..

Hey again, @JDecember21 I’m also planning to take another clear blue weeks digital at the weekend to see if it’s gone up to 3+ weeks as it was 2-3 last weekend which I hope is ok! I’m 5 weeks 2 days today and planning early scan 8 weeks if I can hold out that long, sooner if I get any bleeding or strong cramping! Sorry if I’ve posted that before, I’m losing track of everything!

I think minimal symptoms is very normal at this stage, as does any symptoms being very intermittent! Mine definitely are
