Gosh all these long feeds sound exhausting!

I hope u feel urself again soon Lulu Flowers
Could be worth just mentioning it to
Ur GP anyway.

Glad today is over lol feels like a long day. Tho DS has eaten well again. He seems to only eat mash potato so I keep putting things In it haha. He had mash with chicken and stuffing. I only cut it into chunks so he knows it's there but he ate it! I put pieces of chicken also on his plate but he never touched them. It's weird, it seems that if its in mash he'll eat it! He's still awake now tho because his dad let him have a huge nap!
Haven't had to tidy so much this evening as the house seemed to stay tidy today!
I've enquired about a cleaner every 4 weeks to do things like skirting boards windows and washing floors etc as I'm struggling to do that now as its rele hurting my back to bend down and also getting back up is awful Grin it's £13 an hour which I think is very reasonable!

I hope everyone gets some sleep tonight

zombiemeow · 22/06/2015 21:56

That's a good price cupcake!

Ds loves his mash too Grin he loves it all but prefers sweet potato to normal potato.

Lillamyy1 · 22/06/2015 22:56

Aw Lulu Flowers I worry about things like that too.
Tori I did go to Red Hot Buffet with DS a few weeks ago but it wasn't baby friendly - no way to get the pram to the seating area, very dirty changing facilities. But we could go to one of the other restaurants in the corner house?

Lillamyy1 · 22/06/2015 23:10

DS used to love sweet potato Ducky Grin I love it myself! Also love sweet potato fries!

Lill and Tori, I've never been to these places so I'll trust both ur judgements on where to go :)

Well DS has been up all night so far. He fell asleep about 9:30 then some at about 11. Has been awake since. He was screaming and wanted to get out of his room quick! And every time he fell asleep in my bed and I'd put him back into his bed he'd scream blue murder. I tried to lie in his bed but he was having non of it, just did not want to be there.
I've had a good cry downstairs with him now as I'm so tired and it's too hard to keep lifting DS upstairs and into bed etc and i can't restrain him when he kicks off anymore as he usually accident kicks my belly. He's such a good boy normally but when he has a tantrum he's crazy lol.
I don't understand what's wrong with him and why his sleep has changed. :( I'm going to have to let him sleep on the sofa tonight and I'll just have to stay awake as I can't carry him upstairs anymore. :( eugh im feeling so fed up.

Bearsinmotion · 23/06/2015 02:36

Oh no cupcake, can't you make yourself a little nest by the sofa and get some sleep too? Or get DS mattress and he can sleep on that? DD has just been awake with a nightmare too, it's so sad when they cry like that :(. DS has now got up for his feed.

Cupcake92 · 23/06/2015 02:52

Bears he's still awake but I might try going back into my bed and putting the TV on quietly for background noise and see if he'll sleep. Only way I'll get a bit of sleep.
Bless ur DD, I hate when they cry and sound panicked :(

Bearsinmotion · 23/06/2015 03:03

Now DP has started snoring Angry. It's a conspiracy to keep me awake!

Lillamyy1 · 23/06/2015 04:35

I hope you all managed to go back to sleep in the end! That's very odd about your DS Ducky. I got a bit like that when I was little apparently and ended up sleeping in my mum's bed until I was about 4yrs old Blush

zombiemeow · 23/06/2015 07:02

Cupcake I feel your pain! Did you manage to get some sleep in the end? I stopped counting how many times I had to get up for ds after I got to 10 by 1am Hmm

He can crawl really fast on his back but his front crawling isn't quite there, he gets up on his knees or his arms but can't figure both out. I'm hoping once he masters that his sleep will go back to normal. His sleep went like this when he was mastering rolling

I was just in the kitchen getting his bottle and I left him on the changing mat, he had moved himself over to a pack on nappies and pulled then all out everywhere Blush

Cupcake92 · 23/06/2015 09:08

Bears I hope u kicked him awake Grin

Lill there's no way DS will be sleeping in my bed till he's 4! Lol Grin he's such a wriggle bum in his sleep he never stays still! Grin

Ducky how does he crawl on his back? I would say that's very skilful! Grin and well DS and I finally got to sleep at 4:30am and he then woke at 8:30am so not brilliant but still got a little sleep. Now he's happily awake watching CBeebies! I've attached a photo. He caught me taking the photo tho Grin can never be mad at him for not sleeping, he's too cute!

He's such a sweetheart Cupcake Smile
I hope your DS starts sleeping better soon too Ducky!
Tori, Cupcake we could go to Tamatanga or Nando's? Or there's a cafe on Friar Lane just off the square called Cafe Sobar which is really nice. Depends if you guys want to have a proper meal or just tea and cake? I think I'll have to just have a drink really because I can't afford to spend money on eating out at the moment.

zombiemeow · 23/06/2015 09:30

He looks proper chilled cupcake! Grin

I don't even know, he kind of tilts his head back and pushes up on his legs. Like a crab Grin it looks weird! But he can't half move when he does it!

Cupcake92 · 23/06/2015 10:07

Haha thanks Grin

Tori and Lill, don't know if there's any soft plays nearby? I know there's a lot in derby, but they all normally have a baby area where tiny babies and little toddlers under 3 can play etc. and they all have cafès there too to have a coffee/tea and cake or a cooked lunch if preferred. I used to go with my friend when DS was small and he'd practise his tummy time Grin

steph1204 · 23/06/2015 10:52

Thanks for the thread Lulu :D

I'm still here, but not very active, sorry ladies... But the first thing I do every morning is to read the thread!

I really hope you will get your appointment very soon Cupcake! And I'm sorry you're in such a sad mood Lulu, but as you said, it will change, like everything! And Tori and Bears, good luck for BF! I did BF for almost 4 months (then, back to work :( ...) and the moments you share with your child during BF are very precious and beautiful, even if you're exhausted, aren't they?! Theredore, go on and courage! :) By the way, any news from Siarie and her DD?

My DS is very fine, healthy and likes sweet potatoes :)
He has a nice routine now (sleep 19.00-06.00, then breakfast with us, then back to bed and after a quick nap, he goes to the kindergarten with DH, then lunch at 11.00, some fruits around 15.00 and last feed at 18.30). I'm happy to go to work - even if I miss DS sooooooo much - and see my colleagues.
I'm also happy to feel myself again. I have exactly the same body as before my pregnancy, probably because DS came a bit early and wasn't a big baby, I didn't have a big bump or any marks on it, thank God!). Three weeks ago, DH and I celebrated our 1 year wedding anniversary. We went in a small castle in France for the week end (DS stayed at home with my sister), same place where we went for our honeymoon the year before and where we conceive DS, nice memories :D!!!

Have a nice day ladies!

iamdivergent · 23/06/2015 20:21

waves

Hey guys! Hope you are all well?! Took a break because it was all just getting too much, TTC (and failing) was taking its toll on me and I just needed a time out. But I'm still here and still TTC - I actually can't believe it hasn't happened yet to be honest! Thats 3 of my friends recently announced that they are pg which is difficult but I just get on with it as no one knows that we are TTC again anyway.

I'll try and call in again soon, just wanted to say hi - hope the babies and bumps are coming along nicely.

zombiemeow · 23/06/2015 21:12

Hi I am!!! Nice to hear from you Smile have you spoke to your gp at all about Ttc? Fingers crossed it happens soon for you x

Cupcake92 · 23/06/2015 22:04

Hi Steph! Glad ur all doing so well!! :) and how lovely u went back to France! :D

Hi Iam! Keep going! :) have u spoke to it gp about ttcing? Might be worth going. I hope it happens for u real soon! :)

DS ate all his lunch today but didn't eat his tea! :( and he's still awake now Hmm which I'm surprised at seen as he was awake all night last night! Children aye! Grin
I've done a lot to the house today! :) quite happy with myself! I think I've finished clearing out all the junk now. And I've found even more of DS's old clothes and coats that I've put In the cuboard for DS2 when he needs them :) managed to sell an old wardrobe that was in DS's room so that went today. Their room is all set now, DS has got his half of the room with his bed and drawers etc and DS2 has got his half too with his cot and little set of drawers.
Everything I need for DS2 I've put in his cot to keep it all together Grin

When did everyone decide to set up Moses baskets etc? I'm not sure when to do mine :s midwife said my hospital bags needs to be packed at 30 weeks just incase (because of my early labour at 32 weeks with DS)
So when would I set up the Moses basket? :s

zombiemeow · 23/06/2015 22:11

Mine was already set up for dd Sad but it had a plastic sheet over it to keep it clean, so when I was pg with ds I just brought new sheets ( they were all pink) and swapped them over.

Nice to hear from you again Iam and Steph Smile I hope you get that bfp soon Iam!
Well I've had not quite as good a night as the last ones, but I'm still only up for the second time so DS has skipped one night feed (it was two the last couple if days).
I took him to be weighed yesterday and he hadn't put on as much as he should have Sad He was on the 75th percentile since birth but he's dropped to the 50th in the last few weeks. I don't know what it could be unless it's just from sleeping longer and therefore having less night feeds. I've got to go back next week and see if he's caught up.
