Lil how did ds sleep for you? Has his feeds increased in the day? Or is there any way of increasing them?

Another bad night here again am going to speak to hv today to see if there is anything I can do to help him sleep better, by reading threads on here though I think it's just a phase

He woke me up a couple more times after that one. I'm knackered today! Haven't been able to think straight - went to two baby groups but found it hard to string a sentence together!
Hope everyone else who had interrupted nights coped better than me!
Ducky how did it go with the hv?
DS seems to be feeding normally in the day - not more than before though to make up for the ones he's missing I'm trying to offer him the boob whenever I get a chance to though!

He has had a busy busy day today though so am hoping it's worn him out enough to sleep better!

Thanks unfortunately as we already have 2 there isn't anything that they will do for us

If you mw says to have your bag ready cupcake I'd get everything else ready too, and cover moses basket so it doesn't get dusty

What a long day! Lol been to the park, the tip then my mom had DS and I went to the mothercare expectant parent event :) finished at 8pm. It was rele good! Got loads of freebies! And brought DS some jelly sandles lol! also got my bras finally!!!!!
Gone up 2 sizes already tho!

Lill ds'so weight dropped when he was little then went back up again. Hopefully it DS will gain weight again :)

DS is still awake he's had too much fun with nana so doesn't want to sleep just going to bring him to bed with me as I'm exhausted!

Well DS can now crawl! He has been everywhere today and banged his head on the edge of the coffee table so he now has a bruise and there was lots of wailing and kissing it better. He is not the fastest crawler - probably tomorrow
The benefit is he is worn out tonight and fast asleep.
I am feeling a lot better today. I am sure it's all hormonal.
You sound like you have been busy Cupcake. Nice to hear from Steph and Iam.
Lill and Tori- I don't know how you are doing it. Can you express and leave DH with bottles overnight so you get some sleep? You need some rest.
DS gains weight faster and slower some months Lill. I wouldn't worry.

Last night ds went from 8-4am, had a feed then went til 7 I'm one happy bunny! Just hope he keeps it up.

What is everyone putting their dc to sleep in? Ds wore a vest and 1.5 bag last night but I'm confused about what he should be wearing!

Hope ur all watching super hospitals on TV tonight :) it's my local hospital!!!

He is so funny Cupcake- very excited by the crawling and very pleased with himself. He has been shouting with delight today and can help himself to things now- today he crawled over to the coffee table and took a biscuit. Wasn't very happy when I took it off him.

DH remembered the drum he bought for him last summer and gave him it tonight. It has caused chaos. He loves it and the noise was awful and he got very over tired and upset when we took it away and he had to go to bed. Thanks DH! I am hoping he will have forgotten aout it in the morning.

And the ceiling to floor glass walls in the sitting room have lick marks and hand prints on them about a foot from the bottom.

Lulu, I was thinking about your DH buying that drum yesterday DM bought one for DS but has promised it'll live at her house and he'll only play it there! We'll see..

Oh gosh lulu how funny bless him! Babies love loud things but the noise is so irritating as for the glass, ull be forever cleaning it now!

Lill that happened once with my DM.... It was a set a musical keys and one day DS came home with them in his bag, he still is them here now and still presses the button over and over again dancing to the tune!! Even tho he's too old for them anymore

I can now feel baby kicking from the outside of my belly!!! :) if I place my hand on my stomach I can feel his kicks! Yay!

I've no idea why my son has turned into such a grumpy, stroppy and naughty child in the space of a week! he continues to refuse his dinners and would rather starve and have a tantrum than just eating it. I made him sausages and sweet potato fries for dinner this evening as I know he likes that! He hasn't even touched it and pushed his table over nearly and stormed off and cried. He's been hitting me all day, pulling my hair and being very stubborn.
Went to asda and he decided half way through he didn't want to sit in the trolley so stood up and wouldn't sit back down! It's hard for me to run after him atm and pick him up when he's having a tantrum etc. on the way out he had the biggest strop and ran into a lady then threw himself on the floor as I told him to be careful. This couple stared at him and me as if to say "what a troublesome child!" So I snapped and said "he's a child! What do u expect?! Good as gold all the time? I don't think so!"

I so need a break!
Can't believe I have to wait till September till he starts nursery, he needs it and so do I!

Oh no cupcake has everything been ok with stbxh recently? Or has anything changed/happened that could of upset him? I'm dreading ds being like that! Or maybe he could be coming down with something? I have no idea

Ds is all over the place ATM, I got him a big colourful mat as we have wooden floors so I was worried about him hitting his head and he's in love with it!

I'm worried it might be because of the baby? I'm not sure because I've had to stop picking him up and now he has to walk up and down the stairs holding my hand, where as before I'd carry him.
I don't know tbh tho he's still awake now again, refusing to sleep. U can see he's quite tired tho.

I'm a bit worried, he's at dm's tonight again and she's just text me to say he is still awake and not showing any signs of being tired so I'm worrying he's going to play up

Oh no I used to hate it when my dm would text saying DS wouldn't sleep! She looked after him in January and he was that bad I had to go get him at midnight! All because he wouldn't sleep lol! fell asleep as soon as I got him home!

I'm worried incase that happens I've had a drink already!

But my mom is the best person at settling ds, if she can't settle him no one can!

If worse comes to worse il have to take a taxi there and stop there the night! I think she will settle him though. I can't count the amount of times she's ended up here putting him to sleep because I couldn't!

This pregnancy was going fast until I hit 20 weeks, now it's going so slow! I'm still only 22 weeks I'll be happy to hit 30 weeks as I'll only have 10 weeks left and can start sorting everything out, setting it all up etc :)

It goes so slow doesn't it cupcake! How is ds today?

He was quite naughty tbh he went to sleep around 10, woke up at 3.30 for a bottle and was awake until 5,30 then went to sleep again and I got there just after 7.30 and he just got up!

Fingers crossed it wore him out so he sleeps well tonight!

DS has been a little better thank u. He's still been rather naughty but he's managed to eat more today. I've been a lot more strict with him tbh. He had his breakfast then I gave him nothing till he had his lunch. Which he ate most of. And between lunch and dinner he had a banana then ate most of his tea :) so he's having a treat now and having a chocolate biscuit with his milk!

I'm getting the Next to me crib as a bday present off my mom! :) very happy as it means I don't have to fork out £150
All I need now is a double pram and bits for my hospital bag :) oh and baby needs some new bottles. Then I'm all ready for DS2! I'm too excited. Need to finish getting everything in July as August is DS's bday so I will be very skint that month! Then I've only got September to get through! :O

Well ds definitely isn't worn out he has has around 30 mins sleep so far today and is still going strong going to put him on the floor to wear him out a bit I think

Cupcake, when my friend was pg with her DD her DS (who I think was two) threw the scan pic in the bin I think it's quite common for DC1s to act up when a DC2 is on the way. I hope your DS starts behaving better soon!
And Ducky I hope yours is ready for bed soon!
I put DS to bed before I went to bed this eve. It took me nearly an hour of bf/singing/humming to get him to sleep but he's been asleep since 9:30. He's had quite a wakeful day with just two short naps so I hope he'll sleep well tonight.
We had a major poonami earlier his new vest is currently soaking!
