Ducky no haven't looked for exercises yet going to look after work today :) and good for u standing up to mil!!! I'd never ever let my mil look after DS at all let alone over night! Anyway she's seen him once this year that's it! N all because of the stuff that went on with me n exH.

Lulu I love chicken casserole ! Yum :) and yes thank u a much more chilled day yesterday.

Lill thank u :) will have to join n see what sling meets are :)

Bearsinmotion · 06/07/2015 08:27

Depends what you are looking for sling wise! I can't tie knots to save my life so the material wraps were no good! A friend lent me a BabyBjorn and BaBa sling for DD. The babybjorn was ok, but only until 6 months and only then because she was small! Baba was good as she got older, but neither good enough for me to buy one for DS!

Bearsinmotion · 06/07/2015 12:15

Meant to add, I now have an Ergo, which is a bit fiddly but great when you get used to it. There are expensive, but have good resale value so you can easily buy them second hand or sell them on when you finish! It was great when DS was newborn, and should last until he's 3!

Cupcake92 · 06/07/2015 19:55

Oo thank Bears :) think I'll have to have a good look on Guntree see what's about! Or eBay! :)

My poor cat has his op tomorrow morning to have his balls chopped off! Grin been told he's not to eat after 7pm tonight so he had a huge bowl of food at 6:50! Now he's house bound for the night! Poor cat!

zombiemeow · 06/07/2015 20:17

Hahahaha that made me chuckle cupcake! Hope the op goes smoothly Grin.

I used to work in a vets and used to help with the balls off ops Grin

Cupcake92 · 06/07/2015 21:26

Haha thanks Ducky Grin he doesn't know what's about to hit him! Bless him!
Oh god! I bet that was weird haha! Grin

zombiemeow · 06/07/2015 21:52

How old is he now?

I was a vet assistant, I would love to do it again but I couldn't cope with the more upsetting things. But when animals came in for ops, I would literally sit on the kennel floors with them until they came round properly, to make sure they weren't alone and were properly looked after I'm such a weirdo!

Cupcake92 · 06/07/2015 23:00

He's 1 and a half now. I've left it quite late as just never got round to booking him in!
Just glad I've finally got him In now. Will be all done after tomorrow bless him.
Aaww at least u cared about the animals! :)

zombiemeow · 07/07/2015 02:39

Well I hope he doesn't remember a thing Smile

I've been up cleaning Confused we have just had the worst poonami ever. It was all over his clothes and sleep bag, then my bed but I'm too tired to change the sheets. Let's hope for a peaceful night now Smile

zombiemeow · 07/07/2015 06:30

Hmm No peaceful night here. Up at least every hour. I'm so tired.

Cupcake92 · 07/07/2015 07:12

No peaceful night here either Ducky.
DS has been up since 3am again!!
He's making it a habit Hmm

Cupcake92 · 07/07/2015 07:12

He's asleep now but I have to get ready to take the cat for 8:30!

zombiemeow · 07/07/2015 07:24

It's a nightmare isn't it Hmm he woke up a few times between 8 and when I went to bed at 11, then he was awake from 1, did a huge poo which went everywhere, finally fell back to sleep at 3.30 then was up at least every hour, I think it was more than that for his dummy, then woke up for the day sometime around 5Confused he's tired now Hmm

I just feel like I must be doing something wrong with him Hmm

Cupcake92 · 07/07/2015 07:36

Ducky I feel like that sometimes! My friends children are in bed fast asleep every night by 6:30/7pm! And sleep all night unless they are ill. And she just puts them in bed and leaves them. I can't do that with DS he won't fall asleep unless I'm there with him it's a nightmare :/ last night he fell asleep at 10:45pm and awake at 3am. It's just ridiculous! Going to be hard when DS2 arrives I'll be up with 2 children in the night!
Just don't understand what I must be doing wrong and why his sleep is so so awful when it was amazing when he was like 9 weeks old!

zombiemeow · 07/07/2015 07:51

I have to hold ds to sleep each time now Hmm and that's probably making it worse but I have tried leaving him with me sat right next to him but he won't have it! Even if he is so tired his eyes are rolling and he rubs them and pulls his hair Confused

I kept being told 'he'll sleep better once he gets to 6 weeks', 'he'll sleep better once he gets to 12 weeks', 'he'll sleep better once he gets to 6 months', 'he'll sleep better once he's on solids', 'he'll sleep better when he's moving around' I feel like screaming at them! Because he's not getting better, he's getting worse!

Bearsinmotion · 07/07/2015 10:47

DS seems to be enjoying the 4 month sleep regression! He goes to bed about 8, often wakes 10ish when we go to bed, then at 1, then about 3, then 5 and gets up for the day about 6 Hmm.

DD first managed to sleep through the night regularly when she was about 3, so he will get better ... Eventually Grin

Cupcake92 · 07/07/2015 12:46

In my case Ducky DS got worse as he got older! Then when he suddenly starts to sleep better it lasts for maybe 2 nights at the most? Then gets worse again.

Oh gosh Bears I've got another year to wait then!! Grin

Cupcake92 · 07/07/2015 14:04

Yay get to pick my kitty up at 4pm! :) they said he's fine, bless him lol

Yayyyy. Hope he's recovered well Smile

zombiemeow · 07/07/2015 19:50

And bears, fingers tightly crossed for you that it doesn't last long! Ds had the 4 month regression, he's 7 months now and still no better Hmm

zombiemeow · 07/07/2015 21:30

So so so so angry right now.
Went out with stupid mil a few days ago. Before that sil said dn had been in contact with someone with chicken pox. H said he spoke to her before we went out and she said dn was fine.

I had a massive rant that he needs to make sure she is ok or ds won't be going. He said she was fine.

Sil just rang h and said that dn has come out in a rash Hmm she thinks it's the chicken pox coming out Hmm. So angry. Now I'm panicking incase ds gets it.

LuluJakey1 · 07/07/2015 22:43

Cupcake, glad Ziggy is OK. He won't miss them.

Hope DS does not get chickenpox Ducky.

DS is sleeping well at the moment, since he started crawling. He is tired by bedtime and really ready for his bed. DH reads him a story which he seems to like.

He has started makng a noise which I think is Maaaa and DH thinks is Daaaa but is really just aaaaaa. He holds his arms out to us when he says it. Grin

Today he has eaten lots of strawberries and raspberries and bits of ripe melon

Cat has recovered absolutely fine :)

Ducky it's better for them to have chicken pox young when they aren't able to scratch at them! DS hasn't had them yet, I was hoping he'd have them already as my friends 2 girls got them a few days after we were round their house but DS didn't get them :( they are worse the older they get.

Aw bless him Lulu, growing up fast.

Cupcake92 · 08/07/2015 08:00

Aww DS just saw my belly move because of baby kicking me, so he's gone and put his hand on my belly and baby has kicked his hand! :) DS was so exited about it!
