Ooh very exciting! I hope it is labour cupcake! It'd be nice if you avoid induction! Also great news about the leaky boobs! Breastfeeding is amazing.
Sucky I hope the milk ladder gies well and DS has lost his allergy!
Hi Sunny - nice to hear from you Smile
Bears, Siarie - I've just started a mix of BLW and purées. DS has been having organic pear from his grandparents' orchard.

Lillamyy1 · 30/09/2015 23:59

Ducky, not Sucky!! Stupid phone Grin
Also forgot to tell you Luku, you make me laugh! I know what you mean about men though. DH is bloody useless sometimes!

Cupcake92 · 01/10/2015 05:20

I can remember that Lulu :) I can remember u posting about having a rele bad back and next thing u were off having DS lol :)

Hey Lill! It's deffo not labour as nothing's come about it Grin got no worse or any better! I'm so anxious to just go into labour before my induction tho. I rele want to but I don't think it'll happen. Going to find a nice fresh pineapple and eat the whole thing today. That worked with DS Grin
And yes I'm quite impressed I have milk in there! Looking forward to hopefully succeeding in breast feeding! :)

I had someone yesterday whilst I was out tell me 'oo u shouldn't be out, u should be at home resting! U look ready to drop any minute!'
I just told them I doubt I'll go into labour anytime soon and laughed Grin

zombiemeow · 01/10/2015 07:50

Thanks lil! How's ds getting on with food?

Lulu sounds lovely, I made vegetarian cottage pie yesterday, ds loves it. He had his vegan.

Cupcake I came on this morning and saw there were a few more posts and was hoping to see you posting saying something was happening! Yay for the milk!

Cupcake92 · 01/10/2015 11:36

Nothing's happening ducky! But I have just eaten a WHOLE fresh pineapple in an attempt to bring labour on Grin we'll see if it has any effect and hopefully turns the painful bh into proper contractions lol!

sunny825 · 01/10/2015 15:08

Hi lillamyy. I just wanted to say cupcake to remember that second baby can be born really quickly. I really qasnt prepared for how fast it all happenedy. I went into hospital at 2:30 am and baby was born at 4:30 am so be prepared for a potentially quick one. I hope it all starts for you soon.
I've always hated having builders in too lulu. We had them in for months last year and the endless cups of tea became a real chore.
Good luck with the milk ladder ducky, that's brilliant news. Our consultant says that is the best way to get a child.to start to tolerate dairy so fingers crossed for you.

LuluJakey1 · 01/10/2015 16:15

They are still here. Will be at least tomorrow. Possibly Monday. Grr!
DS is in his playpen thing on the lawn watching them and shouting. They think he is very cute. He has been to nursery for 90 minutes without me this morning. I went to the shops and when I came back he did not even notice me. He was too busy stealing someone's apple slices and scoffing them.

Cupcake92 · 01/10/2015 18:37

Gosh Sunny that is a fast labour! I hope mines not that quick! I like labour and want to experience it for a while Grin

Lulu that's great about DS and nursery! Bless him :) sounds like he enjoyed himself.

Well so far the pineapple has done nothing. I've had a curry for tea too and added extra chilli powder in my portion Grin
I was told to hand express some milk from 36 weeks but I've tried today and can't hand express at all :( I've got my pump that I was going to try. The nurse said don't use the pump as it could start off labour (which of course I'm happy if that happens now! He's a huge baby already!) but I won't be able to store any milk if I hand express
So gonna give the pump ago tonight before I go to sleep.

Also DS did amazing at nursery today and ate all his dinner and his pudding! And he went and lay down by himself and went for a nap!! Grin very pleased!

zombiemeow · 01/10/2015 20:05

Sunny that's quick! My ds (had a little girl before at 32 weeks) took 3 days coming! Although I was induced and it was all under difficult circumstances so probably not the same as a natural birth!

Lulu that's good of ds! Will be be in there full days soon? Sounds like he has made some friends with the builders, having some lads chat with them!

I'm feeling a bit blah after my appointment. I got really nervous going in as the room was FULL of students, I had to squeeze in past them. The consultant told me to stop the milk ladder as ds isn't 12 months even though the dietitian told me to start, I feel like there's conflicting advice coming at every angle and I don't know who to listen too! Then he told me that all they would advise regarding his sleep is controlled crying Angry I said surely that is not the only option the nhs can offer.

LuluJakey1 · 01/10/2015 20:18

DS always enjoys himself Cupcake. One of the nursery staff said that. He is much more sociable than me or DH. Your DS has settled really well at nursery. Is it nice getting a bit of time to yourself?

I love my TommeeTippee Perfect Prep. I could not breastfeed. Just not for me.

It is cold up here tonight- very autumny. All the trees are changing colour. I have made vegetable soup and cheese on toast for tea. DH and DS have both tucked in and DS is in bed asleep.

DH is marking books. I am washing and cleaning up- again.
DH 'We could have an early night and go to bed at 9. D'you want me to tell you what I'd like to do to you?'
Me 'No, 'Who Do You Think You Are' Is On'
DH 'Scrap that idea then. It's the one about Indian Partition isn't it? I wanted to see that. We can have a cappucino and nice chocolate biscuits while we're watching'
Grin WHO SAYS ROMANCE IS DEAD!

Ducky that's annoying! Angry these people never communicate with each other! They all should be telling u one thing and not giving u conflicting advice!
And all they can say is 'cry it out' !! AngryAngry I'm sorry but there's surely other ways of help and advice!

Lulu that's great ur DS is sociable :)
It is nice having some time to myself, tho I don't think I've actually sat down and done nothing yet Confused I always end up doing errands, or cleaning. I can't stop cleaning atm.

Hah Lulu Grin u and ur DH are a comical pair!

DS has been in bed since 8:30 and I've attempted to express, I got the tiniest bit of colostrum Grin at least I know some is coming out haha! And I've also managed to have a nice shower and attempted to shave my legs (not very well as I can't rele see my legs anymore!) but anyway, not had any contractions or anything :( so pineapple, curry and expressing haven't worked!

zombiemeow · 02/10/2015 15:56

Did ds sleep ok cupcake? And how did the pumping go?

Cupcake92 · 02/10/2015 16:25

DS slept till 5am so he actually did alright!
I was surprised!
Pumping wasn't great didn't get a lot. I think if I can't pump enough, and I go into labour and he needs special care I'll just use formula. If he's okay I'll try the breast feeding.

Nipped to supermarket today to pick up some leggings Grin I had a few rele sharp pains down there! I literally had to stop and go 'ooo!'
My stomach is ridiculously low down, so much so I get literally every person who walks past tell me I look like I'm about to go into labour!

Cupcake92 · 02/10/2015 21:19

I've just had the most painful bh ever.
Omg ouch.
Now I've got back pain :/

Again doubt it's labour as had nothingn since :(

sunny825 · 02/10/2015 21:29

Cupcake they say for expressing it's always better to do it after a warm shower and I know it sounds crazy but to mentally think of gushing waterfalls of milk. Worked for me lol
Hope labour starts soon for you.
Not heard anything back about my gtt. Rang docs and they said no results have come through yet.

zombiemeow · 02/10/2015 21:29

Get it checked out if it happens again cupcake! But I'm a worrier and say get anything checked

When ds was in special care people were still able to breast feed, the nurses just helped them Smile so if anything like that happens you may still be able too if that's what you want. In the cot thing next to ds there was the tiniest little girl and her mom would always be down there breast feeding her with the help of the nurses.

zombiemeow · 02/10/2015 21:31

X post sunny.

Hope you have your results through all clear soon Smile

I am in the worst mood. My af was really late.... Even for me. I took 2 tests panicking but it was bfn. Got af today and it is so damn painful Sad

Cupcake92 · 03/10/2015 03:01

Sunny thank u for the tip will try a shower first next time :) did u call ur docs surgery for results? If so it takes longer for them to get them. If the hospital haven't called u it's a good sign.

Ducky, I'm just so uncomfortable n keep looking at every pain n twinge praying its labour! My spd is at its worst n now it's affecting my mood as I can't walk far or be out long so i keep begging for labour! I need him out! Plus 2 people I know had their babies yesterday! And today is my aunties bday, I would have loved DS2 to have shared her bday, she past away over 10 years ago n I always feel she's watching over me.
That's good about the breast feeding in special care tho :)
I hope ur af doesn't last long either!!! :(

Cupcake92 · 03/10/2015 03:01

Do we need a new thread?

zombiemeow · 03/10/2015 10:06

Sounds awful for you cupcake Sad was there exercise you could do to help it a bit? If that's the right word? The physio stuff. I can't believe you have just had to cope, it's mad there's nothing they can do for it.

Yep looks like we'll be needing a shiny new thread... I will make one now

LuluJakey1 · 03/10/2015 21:21
