Just popping on to pass on well wishes to paws, you poor thing, just truly horrible to have to go through.

Carrot, as the others have said ... Not out til af! Fingers crossed lady!

Cd6 here, AF finished (first since d&c in May)... Was relieved that it was very normal and no major pains or extreme bleeding. Wtf cycle was 49 days exactly, so not too bad in the grand scheme, considering I was almost 12 weeks when mc. Onwards and upwards now. After the totally shit time I'm having at work at the mo ... A bfp would be perfect timing! In fact it's the only reason I'm not currently tempted to look elsewhere for a job!

New thread started and ready when this is all full up.

Sorry you're having a rubbish time at work honey. Glad AF wasn't too grim though

honey glad af wasn't too awful. But sorry about work and Facebook. Facebook has a lot to answer for.

paws I live abroad and an internal exam is part of all early pregnancy check ups. I did have a psycho moment when I wondered if this could've caused my MMC but after reading a LOT on the subject I came to the conclusion that it can't. Also, I t is the norm in US, Canada, Oz and across Europe, if it was dangerous they wouldn't do it.
Go with your gut feeling but if an exam makes you feel better please don't worry about it.

I'm 13 DPO and have the faintest of faint lines on a First Response! I'm not going to let myself get excited until I get a stong line, and past the point of my MC in May. My EPU will do blood tests and a reassurance scan in a couple of weeks hopefully. They said they would anyway

carrot that's fantastic ive got my fx for you. Cd15 today and got my smiley opk this morning so bd tonight. To be honest I've been a bit sceptical about these opks I know there is no guarantee that I'll fall pregnant this cycle but in a way it assures me that I can go by the strong signs my body is sending me (twinges and ewcm). Have a nice day everyone, I know some of you are having a tough time at the momentSad

Sorry you're having a hard time at work honey.

How's the bleeding today paws?

Thanks for the new thread carrot. Potentially exciting news about the FRER result! But I understand why you're not getting too excited yet. Fx for you.

I am having a bad day so far. Nothing to do with ttc but the car won't start this morning and we're supposed to be going to Devon for a week tomorrow. I was supposed to take the boys to nursery then spend the day getting organised for holiday but now I'm waiting for the RAC. Aargh!

sakura yay for smiley opk! Enjoy DTD tonight!

Tft sorry about the car – really pants when you are about to go away. I hope RAC find something really easy and fixable wrong with it so you can get away tomorrow as planned.

How annoying tft

Thanks mummy. I bloody hate cars, this one in particular.

Yeay sakura! I know what you mean about opks. After days and days of nothing you begin to wonder if they actually work (or if it's you that's broken). Have a good night!

I just made the mistake of looking at my expected due date if this goes to plan - it's MrVan's birthday!

CarrotV that would be so lovely! What a treat - have you told DH yet?

Report
CarrotVan · 09/07/2015 09:14

Nope - not telling him till I get a proper line.

Of course my MIL arrives tonight for a week and I don't want to tell her until after a scan so obsessively retesting will have to be stealthy. I've already hidden my test stash in the wardrobe rather than the bathroom.

And we have a big family party on Saturday (all afternoon and evening) with all of my sisters who are quite likely to just know

CarrotV you won't be drinking so they will know something is up anyway!

Are you going to tell him in a really sweet way - I rang DP as he was already on his way to work last time because I was so excited so I am hoping to tell him nicely with a bit of a plan behind it!

Report
CarrotVan · 09/07/2015 09:25

I don't know. He won't be that excited - it won't feel real to him until a scan. With DS I bounced in all excited and he looked at me and said "Great. But it's 6.30am" and then went back to sleep.

I can be the designated driver for the party and it's an all day and evening thing and not a boozy crowd

Anyway I need a better line first

Tentative congrats fellow Carrot! Driving is a very good excuse I think. If not, then pretend drink. I find that once people "see" you drink, they don't really notice that you are not drinking later/drinking too slowly.

Sorry about the car tft, really annoying. Hope it gets fixed quickly.

Well I didn't go to hospital...when my mum turned up to take me, the contractions had started tenfold! I knew the pain from last time so just stayed at home with strong painkillers and ben & jerrys cookie dough! I passed the tiny sack at 10pm, didn't really expect there to be a sack at 4&3..but it was very clear what it was.
Just don't know why I keep losing babies, this one faster than the last, and nhs won't lift a finger until you've had three! I feel like a failure of a woman who can't even protect her own babies...they just come out? We are going to try again straight away, the way I see it is; if I do get pg straight away and all is fine and I carry to term, then great, I will have a baby! But if I have another mc, then we can get help sooner rather than later.

Still bleeding today, quite heavily, bleeding stopped last mc after I passed sack...this one seems to want to keep going! I will go hospital if I continue to bleed like this by tomorrow.

carrot fx for you...we need some sticky bfp's on here! Xxx

I'm so sorry paws. With my MC at 6w 2d (growth had stopped around a week earlier) I bled for 10 days - 7 days full bleed like a heavy period and then a few days of 'sludge' (charming I know). I think they're always a bit different.

So glad you had your mum with you and I really hope you get all the support you need.
