Couldn't stand a Fred with only a couple of posts left so I filled it up!

Here is the 13th installation of the Just Shagging saga. If you're a bit lazy relaxed in your approach to getting upduffed, come over here for a natter!

Fred rules;

  1. Thou shalt shag as much as humanly possible in order to get upduffed.
  2. Thou shalt not partake of OPKs, temping, or charting.
  3. Thou shalt keep symptom spotting to a minimum.
  4. Thou shalt share Brew and Wine with your fredmates where needed.

JSing lingo;

ERTD = Evil Red Tide of Dooooooommmmmmm. Or AF to most others.

Pant snot = Egg white cervical mucus.

Doing a kitten = Getting upduffed soon after joining (warning: may induce Envy in other posters).

Viroid = This is you, dear poster. This is from the first JS thread when someone tried to type 'ladies' and it autocorrected to 'Viroids' - so there you go!

POAS = Pee On A Stick (of the pregnancy detecting kind, not from a tree). Also known as PIAR (Pee In A Ramekin - cos we're posh birds innit). Or PIATLH (Tea light holder) PIAWG (Wine glass) or anything else you care to pee in!

Shagging like something = JSing like a teenage nymphomaniac.

Giving a hooya = Giving a much needed slap to a fellow poster in danger of slipping into ttc obsession.

Contraband = Of COURSE none of us EVER partake of any silly opk's or temp charting. They are Contraband Shock Wink

Ooh bearface sounds v promising Grin

Redshoes56 · 05/01/2013 21:36

bear I would be so excited for you if this was your month, doctors be damned! Fingers crossed. We have an extremely uneventful weekend planned. 4:30 p, still in pajamas, taking advantage of the remnants of these sinus infections to do absolutely nothing.

I also have POAS without telling DH, but not to be sneaky, more because I was just confirming what I already knew, say, before a night of drinking Blush. Speaking of peeing, 5 DPO, feeling absolutely positively...normal Wink Next Friday is "AF due. Not here? Pee!" day. Not a moment earlier. Keep me in line!

thethreeblondies · 05/01/2013 21:59

I'll POAS next Fri too if no ERTD had scuppered my plans! so u have to wait to keep me company Wink

Redshoes56 · 05/01/2013 22:04

It's a deal, thethreeblondies!

2beornot · 05/01/2013 23:17

Hi everyone!! Newbie here!

I too am a JSer! Well I will be as soon as AF leaves town!

I'm ttc#2, dd is two next week. She was conceived first month, but I am trying to convince myself that it will take longer. I know I'll get my hopes up though and still be disappointed!!

FX we get out BFPs soon!!

CrackerJackShack · 06/01/2013 07:54

Hi everyone. Hope everyone's doing ok. Just catching up on the fred ;) Sadly no walk in stories for me, although that may change as we just got a live in Nanny and since DS sleeps in our room we tend to use the downstairs couch for nookie time.

4 more days till AF is due. I HATE this wait. But took the edge off last night with a glass of wine. Hopefully it's my last one for awhile!

TobyLerone · 06/01/2013 08:55

It was my hen night last night. Now I have a headache, I'm dizzy and my throat is killing me. Hangover or ill? I'm guessing the latter, seeing as 2 people only just made it last night after being ill all week, and 2 others didn't make it at all.

LotsaTuddles · 06/01/2013 09:56

Well, we caved and I POASed this morning.

It was a BFP!!!!! Grin

I now have a valid excuse for calling chips sausages the other day Grin

TobyLerone · 06/01/2013 10:01

Congratulations! :o

Hooya · 06/01/2013 10:17

Hello how is everyone?

We had the in-laws round then disappeared off for a week in the sun so have not been on MN - a very happy new year to all the just shaggers!

Welcome to everyone I haven't 'met' yet - will have to read back and see who's new and who has BFPs!!

CD26 and no ERTD yet, cycles normally 23-25 days... hmmmm, will consider testing tomorrow...

MrsBri · 06/01/2013 10:30

Congrats, Tuddles :-)

And welcome back and fx to Hooya!

MotherOfCleo · 06/01/2013 10:42

yay tuddles HUGE congrats!!!! Grin

LotsaTuddles · 06/01/2013 11:03

Thanks everyone, going to stick around for a while though if that's ok.

I'm suitably impressed that I haven't been sick or anything yet, but I have been super extra emotional though

Hooya · 06/01/2013 11:29

Yay congrats tuddles

Kitten did you get a bfp? I am trying to read back but keep getting confused laying on a beach for a week has addled my brain everything crossed for you!

Hello MrsBri how are you?

I am excited about POASing tomorrow Smile

MrsBri · 06/01/2013 11:29

I don't like to alarm you, but it's generally a bit early for sickness. 6-7 weeks tends to be the start point! :-)

Fx you avoid it...I did find it quite reassuring, however.

MrsBri · 06/01/2013 11:31

Ooh...posting together, Hooya!

I'm good, thank you. Still finding it bizarre and surreal, but I'm sure once bubs is here I'll get over that! :-)

If I wave my pom poms hard enough, will you POAS now?! What time is it with you? 8 or 9 pm?

LotsaTuddles · 06/01/2013 11:39

Shh, no it's not, I'm not going to get morning sickness

Yes hooya, I'll wave my Pom poms too if you POAS now, that way we'll have been POAS buddies sort of

Kittenkatzen · 06/01/2013 12:15

Yaayy tuddles mahoosive congrats to you! GrinGrin

at hooya, yep got a bfp on New Year's Day Smile still hanging around here though as it's very early days still (4+3 today) and hardly anything in the way of symptoms yet. Not to mention the fact that you lot at fab and I don't want to leave you all!

Joining in the POAS chorus....come onnnnnn hooya POAS!!

Bearface · 06/01/2013 13:59

Woo hoo Tuddles - well done to you!

Hi Hooya - nice to see you back.

Hi Kitten - don't know if I said before, but congrats on the BFP!

Bleeding has now stopped for me and it was quite mucusy towards the end. It only lasted for a few hours and I had some cramps too, but not like AF cramps. They were much more in my lower back than I get with AF. Have never had ovulation bleeding so I'm really hoping that it's implantation.

I'm feeling a bit weird today - got a headache and feel lightheaded - a bit like I'm coming down with flu or something, which to be fair, I might be - although I did have a flu jab, so it may not be flu, but could be a virus. So many people I know are ill at the moment that I could have picked up something or I could be having the mysterious pregnancy cold I really struggled to get out of bed this morning despite being in bed for over 9 hours - felt so tired. Might allow myself to get excited later in the month.

Bearface · 06/01/2013 13:59

Pee Hooya pee!!!!

MrsBri · 06/01/2013 14:05

I think Hooya may have gone to bed on us without paying attention to our pom poms! :-(

How long do I need to wave them at you, Bear?! How many DPO are you?

MelodyHarmony · 06/01/2013 14:09

Congratulations Tuddles, really pleased for you Smile. My morning sickness usually kicks in at six weeks.

Hello to new ladies and people returning that I haven't met before

This is all very exciting.

Could someone give me a run down of who has a BFP this month, whose in 2WW and when they're testing? If I had the computer it would be quite easy to go back and check but DH is using it for work all day and it's really not so easy on my phone. I'm sure someone has the technical ability to pop it all in one post, pretty please. I'll bake a cake for you.., it would be lovely to have a sort of summary of where everyone is at.

I'm now in the two week wait. AF due Friday 18th.

M x

Bearface · 06/01/2013 14:18

Could be as few as 3 or 4dpo MrsBri so I'm not jumping up and down to POAS yet. Before people say though, I know implantation bleeding is supposed to take place 7-9dpo but apparently this is rather like the mythical 'every woman ovulates on CD14' kind of thing and lots of womemn who have gone on to full term have said they got it at 3 or even 2dpo. I know it does seem unlikely, and I'm not kidding myself - it could have been anovulatory bleeding I know - but I'm just trying to hang in there with a tiny bit of hope, even if I am trying to at the same time convince myself that it is just mid-cycle spotting so I'm not so miserable when it actually is.

So, in answer to your question, MrsBri - I'm 13 days away from AF, but I may cave before then. Grin You may want to put them down for a bit or your arms will get tired!

AndieDisestablishment · 06/01/2013 14:36

Congrats Tuddles
Hooya Peeeeee!

I'm at the 2ww, although with my crazy cycles it could be more like 3 weeks til ERTD. Either way I'm feeling awful. I started last week absolutely shattered, on Wednesday I got up with the DCs and when DP got up he looked at me, told me I looked awful and sent me back to bed til 1pm! From then on I've been constantly hungry. Today however, the thought of eating is so far from my mind. I feel utterly sick, woke up with pain in my lower back and lower abdomen, when that wore off I started to feel massively nauseous. I'm constantly swallowing extra saliva and have dry heaved (I've consumed nothing to actually throw up!). I'm starting to wonder if last month's extra short period was nothing of the sort but am being very restrained and will wait a fortnight before I test.
Also struggling to not tell FIL his attitude's a bit crap.... But that's another story.lol

LotsaTuddles · 06/01/2013 15:00

Thanks all, I don't think I had spotting when implanted.

Just done another test (the one where it tells you how far too), and that one said pregnant too, apparently I'm 1-2 weeks gone
