Couldn't stand a Fred with only a couple of posts left so I filled it up!

Here is the 13th installation of the Just Shagging saga. If you're a bit lazy relaxed in your approach to getting upduffed, come over here for a natter!

Fred rules;

  1. Thou shalt shag as much as humanly possible in order to get upduffed.
  2. Thou shalt not partake of OPKs, temping, or charting.
  3. Thou shalt keep symptom spotting to a minimum.
  4. Thou shalt share Brew and Wine with your fredmates where needed.

JSing lingo;

ERTD = Evil Red Tide of Dooooooommmmmmm. Or AF to most others.

Pant snot = Egg white cervical mucus.

Doing a kitten = Getting upduffed soon after joining (warning: may induce Envy in other posters).

Viroid = This is you, dear poster. This is from the first JS thread when someone tried to type 'ladies' and it autocorrected to 'Viroids' - so there you go!

POAS = Pee On A Stick (of the pregnancy detecting kind, not from a tree). Also known as PIAR (Pee In A Ramekin - cos we're posh birds innit). Or PIATLH (Tea light holder) PIAWG (Wine glass) or anything else you care to pee in!

Shagging like something = JSing like a teenage nymphomaniac.

Giving a hooya = Giving a much needed slap to a fellow poster in danger of slipping into ttc obsession.

Contraband = Of COURSE none of us EVER partake of any silly opk's or temp charting. They are Contraband Shock Wink

ohhh andie sounds promising, you sound like symptom cenral Grin

MelodyHarmony · 06/01/2013 15:28

Andie, I agree with MoCleo. Sounds very promising.

MelodyHarmony · 06/01/2013 15:32

Right, I really need to get off my backside and do some housework.

Redshoes56 · 06/01/2013 16:16

Congrats, tuddles! Grin

cookielove · 06/01/2013 17:20

Congratulations Tuddles Smile

MelodyHarmony · 06/01/2013 17:34

Ironing, dinner and packed lunches done and DCs bathed. Just need to get the DCs to bed then a nice relaxing evening with DH. No more JSing though, not for a while, overdid it slightly in the run up to ov - poor DH looks exhausted Wink

MelodyHarmony · 06/01/2013 17:41

Sorry, me again! I hate the 2ww. I wish I could just fast forward this bit!

I really need to make sure I don't obsess over things too much now so I may have to move to 'radio silence' on here until closer to POAS day. No offence to anyone but I just know what I'm like. I won't be able to get the whole pregnancy thing out of my head if I'm not careful and then it begins to encroach on other parts of my life... And that's not fair on the rest of my family.

Feel free to hooya me big style if you see me symptom spotting on here before Friday 18th.

M xx

Bearface · 06/01/2013 18:21

Me too Melody for the 2ww. It's so annoying. Sigh. Think I already have been symptom spotting big-time, so to me. It's really difficult not to though, I find. Going to try my best though.

cookielove · 06/01/2013 19:42

I am sitting firmly in the middle of my 2 week wait, Dh keeps saying to me your pregnant, or you could be pregnant, and i am pretty sure i am not. Not that i have any way of knowing, i due on a week on monday Smile

LotsaTuddles · 06/01/2013 19:48

Is a 2ww a 2 week wait?

I haven't really had any symptoms to spot, apart from our dog acting like my shadow and having to walk in front of me when I take him out and me being over emotional.

cookielove · 06/01/2013 19:52

Yes Tuddles, 2ww = 2 week wait, i had that explained to me 3 days ago Blush

LotsaTuddles · 06/01/2013 20:05

Thanks cookie, at least now I can say that I knew it but forgot it Grin

MotherOfCleo · 06/01/2013 20:09

some people cookie dont get many symptoms. My dog is like my shadow at the moment she has to be sat on me, if I move sofas she moves to follow me etc. The cats also weird, hes a moody loner kitty but I keep waking up to him curled up next to me on the bed. Im only cd4 so cant read anything into it, unless im secretly dr dolittle lol Grin

LotsaTuddles · 06/01/2013 20:21

MoCleo, ours is like that at the moment too, I can be walking round in one particular room, and he'll be right behind me the whole time, he's normally lazy, and always lays on his bed, I think he knew something before we did

Elektra83 · 06/01/2013 20:56

Congratulations Tuddles!

I've had my niece over this weekend and she's nearly two, absolutely gorgeous and very chatty! Made me want one of my own a lot more (which in itself is quite scary!). My sister and a friend have been having fun at my expense - telling me I am pregnant because I craved a random food item and because I have been feeling a little emotional today (cried for no apparent reason, this only ever happens when AF is on its way and I have another week and a half to go before that comes along!).

cookielove · 06/01/2013 21:25

motherofcleo erm did you mean tuddles, not me??

Hooya · 06/01/2013 22:28

Yaaay Kitten congrats!

You are all so brilliant with your pompoms! I tested and your efforts are rewarded with... a faint bfp!!!! Grin

Will need to see if it turns into a proper one or not but for now, a line is a line!

So much to catch up on... MrsBri glad you are feeling good and are here, there is no way I am leaving this thread no matter how pregnant I get

MotherOfCleo · 06/01/2013 22:59

MotherOfCleo · 06/01/2013 23:01

Congratulations, Hooya...fx it's a sticky bean this time! :-)

And there's no way I'm leaving here either. Just can't bring myself to bugger off.

Rockchick1984 · 07/01/2013 00:25

Yay Tuddles and Hooya!! Utterly jealous, lovely way to start the new year :)

I'm due the witch in 4 days, not really got any symptoms although have had a few random twitches around my lower tummy - but had novo virus a couple of weeks ago so probably just random pains left over from that. Have been remembering to take my folic acid most days every day this cycle so at least I'm building up my reserves of that ready for when it's my month!

Electra my DS is nearly 2, he's amazing and so much fun but I do miss having a newborn to snuggle - toddlers don't make me broody but seeing a beautiful squishy newborn makes my uterus twitchy Grin

CrackerJackShack · 07/01/2013 06:21

3 more days till I can test. Broke down and tested this morning with fmu, but a BFN. No PMT symptoms, but no pregnancy symptoms either. I feel perfectly and annoyingly normal.

Congrats Tuddles and Hooya! Tuddles when I was pregnant with DS I remember my cat acting really weird for about a week before I got a BFP. They know before you do. Also, the day I went into labour she was acting absolutely crazy!
