Couldn't stand a Fred with only a couple of posts left so I filled it up!

Here is the 13th installation of the Just Shagging saga. If you're a bit lazy relaxed in your approach to getting upduffed, come over here for a natter!

Fred rules;

  1. Thou shalt shag as much as humanly possible in order to get upduffed.
  2. Thou shalt not partake of OPKs, temping, or charting.
  3. Thou shalt keep symptom spotting to a minimum.
  4. Thou shalt share Brew and Wine with your fredmates where needed.

JSing lingo;

ERTD = Evil Red Tide of Dooooooommmmmmm. Or AF to most others.

Pant snot = Egg white cervical mucus.

Doing a kitten = Getting upduffed soon after joining (warning: may induce Envy in other posters).

Viroid = This is you, dear poster. This is from the first JS thread when someone tried to type 'ladies' and it autocorrected to 'Viroids' - so there you go!

POAS = Pee On A Stick (of the pregnancy detecting kind, not from a tree). Also known as PIAR (Pee In A Ramekin - cos we're posh birds innit). Or PIATLH (Tea light holder) PIAWG (Wine glass) or anything else you care to pee in!

Shagging like something = JSing like a teenage nymphomaniac.

Giving a hooya = Giving a much needed slap to a fellow poster in danger of slipping into ttc obsession.

Contraband = Of COURSE none of us EVER partake of any silly opk's or temp charting. They are Contraband Shock Wink

The link to Part 12 is HERE

The link to the latest grads thread is HERE

Happy shagging shaggers Grin

Welcome Cracker I'm due AF on 10th so will be testing around the same time as you :)

Tenton when you feel the burst of energy DON'T try to take advantage of it, just do things that you can't avoid like work and leave DH to do everything else! Hope you feel a bit more perky soon :)

frogchops · 03/01/2013 10:19

Hi cracker! (Waves)
Haha tenton.... Daniel Craig, mmmmmm. I've been having some decent dreams recently but DP said yday that the reason he's getting no sleep, apart from my coughing is that I'm talking all the way through them. I must not have said anything incriminating yetBlush. It worries me though cos a lot of my weird dreams udually involve ex's, schoolgirl crushes, and general people they shouldn't!!Blush

Bearface · 03/01/2013 10:44

Hello Cracker - welcome!

Oh dear TenTon - I couldn't sleep last night either, but that's because I couldn't put down the fertility book I got in the post. I feel as if I know so much more. I feel armed with info! Lots of the questions I have been thinking about and asking were answered in there. I feel mentally so much less in the dark - would really recommend it. Even though this is just shagging, I don't think it hurts to know your body. I am so much more clued up on CM and ovulation. Grin

TenTon - when this happens to me I try to get up at the time I'm supposed to be up for a couple of days before so that I can feel tired when not at work rather than not being able to get up the following week. I then see it through with no napping so I'm properly tired by the evening and sleep through. This works for me. Hope you manage to get it sorted.

Frog - my DH talks in his sleep and it's mostly nonsense which I can't understand. He also walks in his sleep and does a weird staring thing. It used to freak me out, but now I just chat away to him and pat his head to send him back to sleep. I wish I had your dreams though - mine are always about weird stuff like wild animals in places you don't expect, dragons and mythical creatures(!), underground bunkers - the more stressed I am the stranger they get. Would much prefer Daniel Craig!

addictedismoving · 03/01/2013 10:48

Hi cracker

Just to fill you in, and let you all be very dissapointed in me! we caved, we weighed up the cost of loosing the house against the cost of borrowing more and it made financial sense and comon sense to up the mortgage by 5k and accept teh offer now rather than risk loosing the buyer and new house and not being able to afford to move full stop.
We're pushing to complete on the 5th of Feb and really hoping nothing else goes wrong!

I think I'm lucky in the gaming department, dh doesnt have an xbox, he does have a wii, but he prefers games like lego harry potter and pirates of the carribean! he also allowes the girls to join in with him even if it means he will ie and have to start again. and if I utter the words, I'm going to bed, before 10pm he will turn it off and loose the game rather than find a save point!

As useless as DH is at doing...well anything that involves organization, I think hes a keeper!

my legs are killing me this morning, i started a new fitness dvd yesterday morning, jillian michels 6 pack in 6 weeks and its a killer. I havent been to the gym since I had a seizure (long story, I wont bore you with details, or possibly scare any of you!) and am so out of shape. At least dh is doing it with me to keep me motivated Grin see not a bad guy really!

MotherOfCleo · 03/01/2013 11:03

Haha, my OH has a games room complete with xbox, ps3, 42 inch tv, sofa bed and general games rubbish (including 2 light sabres). It is a true geek den. It will however become the nursery WHEN i get preggo. He's quite good really, he only plays very rarely, just so happens that he bought a new game called sleeping dogs and is now hooked, he was like this with CoD and GoW too....yawn.
He's defo a keeper though, we had a laugh last night about me getting AF (although I still have started yet, bit more pink/brown when I wipe but nothing else) I said it was his overweight sperm (he keeps saying he needs to loose a bit of weight) he said it was because of my dust old eggs (I'm older than him) I said it was because of he is ginger and the powers that be are trying to limit the m=number of ginger genes passed on. no offense meant It's nice to laugh about it all though, he's a pain but I wouldn't be without him!

I'm so glad addicted best to add an extra year to the mortgage than to lose the new house. Hope this is the last hiccup for you!

I have a huge girl crush on Jillian, I did her 30 day shred although I may not have made it all the way to day 30she certainly makes you work.

frogchops · 03/01/2013 11:13

Addicted, its not disappointing if u get what you want! Good that hopefully you can get moving and you'll still have ur dream house! 5th feb isn't far either, and possible! From looking around our house to the day we moved in was exactly 7 weeks (again this was due to my pushiness and organisation, and nothing to do with DP!) our estate agent even offered me a job on completion day, lol. Wish I'd taken it now!
My DP enjoys his games but isn't a huge gamer... He's more into films, but I'm terrible and can never stay awake through any film Blush

CrackerJackShack · 03/01/2013 11:15

My DH goes on video game "binges" and when he's on one, forget about speaking to him till he finishes it! He's got this little "command center" in the living room that DS is desperate to pull apart. LOL.

We're moving at the end of the month and I promised DH he could have a room for his gadgets all to himself. I suspect I will never see him again.

AQuarkTooFar · 03/01/2013 12:08

Hi Cracker!

How exciting addicted! Hope it all goes through ok and you can enjoy the thought of being in your new house very soon!

My dh doesn't really do gaming, I'm worse probably but he is addicted to a farming simulater game at the moment on his iphone. Get ziltch convo out of him in the evenings. quite nice in away

He does however talk, shout, walk, move stuff around, get dressed and re-arrange bedroom furniture in his sleep! Thankfully not every night!

AQuarkTooFar · 03/01/2013 12:10

Oh, I am now not sure I like Children! Got head butted by one on the nose a at party earlier this week, my arms aches for carrying about my 7 month old cousin yesterday and my 4 year old cousin ran over my feat with a go kart yesterdy too. They are now all cut, bruised and swollen. Ouch!

DH said they were all great fun though and has made him want children more!

addictedismoving · 03/01/2013 12:17

aquark, i hate kids, they are snotty, whiny angd generally annoying!

there are only 4 children that i can honestlt say I enjoy spending time with, 1 my 5 yo brother, 2 my 2 yo sister, 3 my 2yo dd and 4 my 11mo dd.

i can honestly say having your own is very very diffrent, i used to work as a childminder pre kids and looking after your own is very very diffrent! and if i'm trying for my 3rd in 3 years having your own cant be all that bad can it?! Grin that or i'm a sucker for punishment!

MelodyCatsAndKittens · 03/01/2013 12:21

Hi everyone and new people!

I love all these tips to get men off the sofa. With DH last night it was just the TV and a bottle of wine but games do distract him every now and then. He goes on a gaming 'binge' too Cracker.

I absolutely love the idea of a photo of a stocking-ed leg texted to him downstairs. It wouldn't work for my DH though unless I left his phone on the sofa with him before I went upstairs. He'd be too lazy to get up off the sofa to respond to the sound of his phone!... I'd also have to make sure his phone was charged before going upstairs as his battery is often dead! Then he'd come across my text picture at some other moment later in the week - probably when he's at work!

Now, I need a serious telling off....This is potentially worse than symptom spotting...I have found myself looking online at double buggies and tandem pushchairs this morning!!! Someone slap me.

MelodyCatsAndKittens · 03/01/2013 12:24

I'm glad things seem to be coming together for you on the house front Addicted. Often with these things a compromise has to be made somewhere, for you it was the price. When we moved it was the location.

Bearface · 03/01/2013 12:34

Oh dear Quark! My nephew once bit me on the bum - really hard and I cried lots and couldn't sit down for a bit - monster! He also bit his grandpa on the stomach. He's still not much better 5 years on. Some kids are lovely though. It all depends on their parents I find . . .

Cleo - gingers are wonderful and beautiful (just look at Team GB!) and we love them on this fred! We had a long old discussion about gingerism on the last fred and there's lots of gingers on this fred. I think you should be sucking up those ginger genes. Grin p.s. I know you're only messing

Addicted - good on you. If that's what you have to do, then do it. Always do what's best for yourself in those situations because only you can look after yourself - others won't do it for you. Glad things are looking like they're getting sorted.

TMI alert! Don't read on if you don't want to know about CM.

Well, ladies, I am in mucus heaven! bet you never thought you'd hear that in your life I have creamy white CM today and, and, AND I got two lines on my ov stick so I think I am ovulating - hurrah! I've also had some discomfort in the ovulation region. Yesterday I had clear CM that was a tiny bit stringy and had some streaks of red in it, which I learnt from my book that it may be ovulation bleeding from when the egg bursts through the wall.

I know it might be a minor thing to other people, but it's really important to me as thought I was broken. So, DH is coming home tonight and prioritising shagging over biking. Grin

Bearface · 03/01/2013 12:35

Elektra83 · 03/01/2013 14:39

cleo we have had conversations about the ginger gene, mostly in the vein of God help our child if it turns out ginger and brown! (hubby is English with ginger genes...he was a proper ginger when younger but has got darker with age...and I'm Indian so brown...or at least browner than my husband!)

MelodyCatsAndKittens · 03/01/2013 14:54

Cleo sorry if I've missed one if your posts but I was wondering if you're still waiting for the witch or if you've poas again...?

Bearface · 03/01/2013 15:08

Hello HumptyDumptyBumpty

AndieDisestablishment · 03/01/2013 15:12

Melody I was looking at pushchairs a couple of weeks ago. I also bookmarked a bunk cotbed the other day that I found while looking for beds to accommodate DSSs staying over. We all have out crazy moments.

AQuarkTooFar · 03/01/2013 15:14

Hiya Humpty Smile

I haven't looked at pushchairs but have started a secret pinterest board for baby stuff! Bad me!

MotherOfCleo · 03/01/2013 15:26

I actually dye my hair chestnut bear but the OH gets all tetchy when I mock his ginger beard, so of course I mock it a lot. Smile As long as I have a happy healthy wee one it can be a ginger and freckly as it likes. elektra you made me chuckle, could be a good look Wink

melody the witch flew in with purpose this morning Sad I'm actually relieved as I was sick of being in limbo. I am back to CD1 and have BIG plans for this month Smile I am taking no crap and WILL be preggo this time next month. Grin

frogchops · 03/01/2013 15:51

Did anyone see the couple desperate for a hi get baby on obem last night? Sorry if I'm late and this is where the convo stemmed!! I ocasssionalky spot a ginger hair amongst dps 'strawberry blondHmm' stubble so its not impossible for us! I have dark hair and his is more mousey. I won't care though, ginger is trendy nowadays!
I must also say I haven't even thought about it looked at baby items, pushchairs, cots etc....I duno if that makes me good or bad! Lol. I have enquired about a carseat tho as my dm works in a shop that sells them! But I think that's allowed....isn't it?

frogchops · 03/01/2013 15:51

*thats ginger, not hi get (??) Hmm stupid fone!

MelodyCatsAndKittens · 03/01/2013 16:13

Sad Cleo but I guess you know where you are now. Bummer though.

I really should know better than to be looking at baby stuff - this will be #4 for goodness sake but I really can't help myself when it comes to prams and pushchairs. Other stuff doesn't really make me obsessed bother me but pushchairs do. I do a lot of walking and I will need to have the right one for a baby and a toddler.

Frogchops I think it's better not to look at stuff until actually pg. When I was TTC fir #3 I got all double pushchair obsessed wanted to do my research about double buggies but it took me absolutely ages to become upduffed. So by the time #3 did come along, #2 was big enough to walk everywhere! So I had wasted loads of time and spent a lot of time living in an imaginary world of me pushing my lovely double along!

HumptyDumptyBumpty · 03/01/2013 17:19

As well as JSing as much as poss (although, seriously, I do not have the time/energy for it as much as some of you viroids - how do you manage?! Grin) have also quit smoking (well, apart from one or two here and there), quit drinking (easy, not a massive drinker), and started eating lots of TTC-helpful foods. My last Ocado order was all veggies, fish, wholegrains, brazil nuts and vitamin supplements. The computer gets all sad, and keeps trying to persuade me I really need the usual bottle of wine, box of chocs, pate, cured meats etc.
What are your top up-duffing foods viroids (this is my fave autocorrect ever, btw)?
