Donne thy robes and come join the hagges round a crackling fire made of ye olde pee sticks, as we run around nekkid, high on snorted baybeedust, and do our straynge erotick rituals on the altar of ye inconstant moon.

Come one, come all as we cast spelles and do any Magick we can finde on our queste for an elusive win.

Bring thy gynne for yon cauldron and help thyself to a laddle, as we prepare the incantationnes...

I CBFM?d my way to this pregnancy, so can maybe help whoever was asking a question about it. There should also be a support thread somewhere in the Conception folder.

Ariesgirl · 15/02/2011 15:04

CAN I BUY IT OFF YOU

or are you wanting more than one child? Grin

Truffkin · 15/02/2011 15:14

I am confuddled by the Kevin Webster chat, but then I have not seen Coronation Street for several years.

As you know I am a charter and find this works in terms of knowing my cycle, what I can't bloody work out is why our well timed shagathon does not produced the updiffed result month after fecking month. I am hopeful that the NHS can assist with this piece of the puzzle. Rie CBFM away if it will help my sweet, there are many a positive story in the support thread from previous winners attributing their success to the shag dictator Grin

I am rising about the current droidal intrusion by thinking of the things I have to be happy about today, so far they are: 1) I have just eaten a chocolate muffin brought in by a colleague and backed by his wife, it was tasty; 2) I received a tax rebate cheque for £700 smackeroonies yesterday, which will be a nice contribution to this years' holiday fund; 3)I received a mug for Val's day with ;gorgeous wife' on it, to replace the (now extremely battered) 'gorgeous girlfriend' mug I have had for several years; 4) we are meeting my PiL for dinner tonight as they are visiting the big smoke to take afternoon tea at the Rubens; 5) Brew this new emoticon is very pleasing.

In less happy news I got interrupted so many times during my 'lunch break' that my quesadilla went cold and I have to go to a boring meeting in 10 minutes.

I think the good outweighs the bad for today.

Medee · 15/02/2011 15:20

I'm holding onto it for the time being, Aries, but if I wanted anyone to have it, it would be you my lovely.

owlbooty · 15/02/2011 16:26

Truffles you had a quesadilla? I luffs the quesadillas. Think how many you can purchase with your £700 tax refund.

Rierierie I got a relatively cheap one, I think it was from Altwood Pharmacy online. Was a damn sight cheaper than that there Boots anyhoo. I have a regular as clockwork 28-day cycle but my body likes to ovulate randomly between days 12 and 16 just to be irritating, so I felt it would give me a far better chance than the proverbial stab in the dark (oo-er missus).

Is it just me or does that mug appear to have a blue hash leaf motif on it?

HighPriestessBoo · 15/02/2011 16:29

Fuck me they're pricey aren't they? Have just had a noodle on ebay.

That's two tax rebates for ESHes - someone on the PESH thread got one yesterday. Where do I queue for mine? :o Glad to hear of nice tings my lilpieceofchoclitbegian.

MrB and I have had a rare childfree day off together today as we are using up our annual leave before March ends (I am obviously not allowed to carry any over so am enjoying the luxury of paid time off before I become a drain on society Wink ). I went and had my eyebrows waxed this morning - used to get it done regularly but this was the first time since before we got married in 2009 . Anyway, the salon I use has now changed hands and I am told by old woman who answers the phone when I call to book in, that 'Margie' isn't in today, but 'Bev' can do it if I like. I haven't a clue who either of these people are and ask if Bev is able to perform said waxing. Am informed that Bev hasn't passed her exam yet but because of this t'will be half price for the privilege. Am also told that Bev did hers yesterday, and they look 'alright'. Whilst trying not wet myself at terrible way poor Bev has been sold I agree to let her have a go. When I get there Bev comes out to greet me and instead of the 18 year old I'm expecting Bev is older than me and the new owner. Anyway, the good news is that it didn't hurt a jot, on the other hand though she messed up one eyebrow, didn't charge me and has booked me in for free next time. I now have a small gap in the middle of my right eyebrow. Am pleased have saved cash and to have a freebie when she will have passed her test and hopeflly done a few more customers but am thinking maybe I should have waited for Margie :o

HighPriestessBoo · 15/02/2011 16:30

Booty Tis the mumsnet logo. Which when you squint your eyes really tightly until they water does slightly resemble a blue cannabis leaf of course. Wink

Truffkin · 15/02/2011 16:58

Boo I had a bit of a snigger at your eyebrow waxing tale, poor old Bev hey? I am of course imagining you now with a gangster strip in your eyebrow, maybe you can wear an oversized hoody and some mahoosive trainers to complete the look? I could do with getting my browns tended to, I try to leave it 5 weeks between waxings and pluck but am getting to that stage now where I neeeeed them tidied.

I'm having one of those fish nibble pedicure things on Saturday, has anyone had one and if so, what was it like? Am treating my Mom who will be visiting as she mentioned she wanted one (and is so excited about coming to London for her 'holidays' (it's literally for 2 nights) that I have booked a few treat things to do)

TGB had a rebate just before Christmas (which is why I did so well with prezzies this year!) as well, I have checked my payslip for this month (got paid last week but payslips have to be checked on line as we don't get paper ones no more, saving the planet like innit?) and my tax code has also changed, giving me an extras 200 squids each month. I am IN LOVE with HMRC right now (and you can't often say that)

LaraMi · 15/02/2011 17:09

Random question... isn't the fish nibble water filled with little fish poo?? I have to say the thought of that scares me slightly.

Truffkin · 15/02/2011 17:16

Apparently not, I questioned at length on this when I booked it but there is a filter system that means the horrid stuff, not just fish poo but also foot skin is removed from the water after every treatment, as well as there being some sort of treatment stuff in the water to keep it clean and hygenic.

I was a bit Hmm about it but my little Mom was so excited at the thought that I'm going to give it a go. Also, it was £13 on livingsocial so if I really when we arrive, I'll not feel too guilty for giving it a miss!

Ariesgirl · 15/02/2011 17:19

Thanks Meds Grin Thoght that would be the case. What do you mean, you want more than one child???

LaraMi · 15/02/2011 17:24

Rie - it's utterly selfish for anyone to want more than one child isn't it? I think that there should be a system whereby anyone that decides to have second or third children should have to donate them to BESHes like us....

Ariesgirl · 15/02/2011 18:12

I do not luff HMRC. Last year they said "Oh, you owe us £6000. Please pay in 7 days. Thank you."

rocketleaf · 15/02/2011 18:17

Holy shit, no wonder you do not luff them. 7 days? This is why I am hanging on incase they or i have messed up.

HighPriestessBoo · 15/02/2011 20:05

I didn't too any tattoos or anything but I do now have red hair again for the first time in 6 years. And it feels good :o

starnosemole · 15/02/2011 20:09

I was going to write someat ttc related, but am too confused as to why Robert Plant was up for best male at the Brits? Am I just a musical pleb?

HighPriestessBoo · 15/02/2011 20:13

I'm not watching it, it makes me too Hmm Shame it wasn't Robert Smith. Did Robert Plant release anything this year then?

starnosemole · 15/02/2011 20:24

Back to the piss sticks- am gutted that after missing last two months and trying to survive on internet cheapsticks, when I finally went to replenish my supply I bought Clearblue non digital by mistake- I only like the smiley face ones cos the others are just impossible to get a straight answer out of...smiley faces tell it how it is. Am reluctantly weeing all over them, but same old faint or mid faint or about the same give or take shenanigans. Gah.

You are all being a bit well travelled at the mo- though I have been to HK, so not total plane dodger (only for 5 days) I have no strong leanings either way- but it was very very foggy when I was there and we were at the end of long travel so had no pennies. I watched a programme on Dubai and it seemed a bit crackers if that helps?

I have quite a fondness for HMRC since they put me in wrong tax bracket and then paid me difference at end of year- I kept it like that for three years, seeing it at them doing my savings for me. Had to stop when I went back after ML and now I have not a brass farthing to save for myself.

starnosemole · 15/02/2011 20:31

It's all about the performances now though innit- like the grammys. For example we are currently trying to work out where Rhianna's neckline is.

starnosemole · 15/02/2011 20:32

The woman has thighs Grin

starnosemole · 15/02/2011 21:07

Right am watching gypsy weddings now- will you talk to me again? Wink Wine I bring merlot and chocolate orange muffins?

Ariesgirl · 15/02/2011 21:26

Muse has laid!!! Quickest ever. She has a little girl

kat2504 · 15/02/2011 21:36

Yay congrats to Muse! :) :)
Here is a toast to her little girl Wine
