I need to take a holiday with some lovely peeps in the same position; I'm TTC#1 but had 2 mc's this year and now discovered my luteal phase is only 9 days (anything under 10 considered a defect) and probably the reason that I cannot retain a pregnancy.

If you have yet to be blessed with motherhood because mc has cruelly taken away your chance so far, then this is the place to retreat for some R & R whilst your body recovers.

Pull up a sun lounger, and lie back for some lighthearted banter and support whilst monitoring cycles or undergoing investigation and wash down the Vit B6, Agnus Castus, Progesterone and Clomid with a lovely vodka glass of sparkling spring water!!

Right, I'm going to love you and leave you all for the time being. I'm off to view a load of houses that I can't really afford to buy (not without continung to save very hard for a few more months [or years ]anyway), but they'd make lovely family homes... so somehow it seemed to fit in with my resolution to look to the future to go and view them this weekend...

I have one thing to say.

Grrrrrrr.

Not happening until Monday. One follie the right size, everything else ok, but they want to give the other follie a chance to catch up, so I'm booked in for 2.30 on Monday.

So it's good to know that I am definitely booked in this time, but it means DH will be at work rather than able to take me home and pamper me afterwards, and we have the building work starting on the house on Monday, so lots of noise and dust and not exactly a restful place to go home to.

Was SO hoping it would be today :(

Dachs arse - how annoying when you'd got yourself all geared up for it. However , two follicles are better than one so probably worth the wait - I reckon it's a good excuse to buy yourself something lovely (do we ever need an excuse?)

MamaP the shiraz was so bloody lovely I've followed it up with a half of ale this afternoon - but as it is day 10 I should probably knock it on the head in the next few days or the eggs will be pickled like those ones you see in chip shops.

Hairy I have been getting highs on the CBFM for 3 days already but no peak. I think it is having a laugh at my expense, the overpriced little mechanical bastard. If it doesn't give me a peak soon I shall die of exhaustion and bits of DH may drop off. Poor Mr Owlshoes.

owl what's all this about buying something lovely for myself? isn't that what DH is for? (He bought me two handbags while we were in town yesterday, and then took me out for lunch :) )

I'm sorry that on my first day in the villa I seem to have missed my round ! I know it's only 10.30am, but I've brought a few jugs of Pimm's - they've got fruit in after all...

Owl - I've loving the idea of pickled eggs... have a glass of Pimms. I'm afraid I know nothing about CBFM, but I did find my thermometer and opk sticks this morning and start charting again. Day 7 in the Wombat house and operation upduff begins again!

Sad feelings returned yestreday and I have found myself getting tearful again. Thought I was getting over it all. Anyway, as a result, I spent the evening with the holiday reps drinking too much wine and have only just woken up. I am enjoying this break in TTC very much.(Lying on sunlounger with very dark sunglasses on)

awww Wakari that's perfectly normal chick. my first (and most traumatic) mc was back in early June and I still have moments of bursting into tears. Take refuge in this little peaceful corner where we all understand.

Effing CBFM has still not given me effing peak - tis now 5 days of high in a row which I am sure is a great big fib/impossibility. However by my calculations it ought to be a peak tomorrow morning when I test so I think it's only fair Mr Owlshoes gets a night off tonight - oh, to be 20-something and full of energy again.

Hello all, sorry not posted from my sunlounger but got distracted by all that pimms. Have ordered in some nice fruity cocktails for us to enjoy in the jacuzzi, along with some luxury chocolates. Need to get my energy levels up for some SWI this week! Going to put the telly on to see how the lovely Rafa is getting on/has got on in the tennis.

Wakari just in case you are wondering about Dachs saying she had posted on the other thread; there is a mother fred, it's where the wider community of those ttc after mc hang together! It's also a great source of support and laughter, we keep a stat's list on that one too.
This and another thread were started to give a special space for those in different place's and also because it gets very hectic over there and this is somewhat more peaceful!
