Its a brand I don;t know and I already have 2....

I would like to publicly apologise to my IL's for assuming they would get DH and me nothing!

we both got £50, which was lovely and as far as we are all concerned a very nice sum of money to go and treat ourselves with in the sales!

MIL...sorry!

A cheap and horrible necklace that wasn't even in a suitable box so it was obviously 2nd hand. The little box was wrapped in tissue and put inside a much larger (also pre-used I could tell by sellotape marks) cardboard gift box.

Its already in the charity shop

I got Ducks from Christianaid or Oxfam or something from mil, and something similar from bil: which is just what I wanted.
I very rarely see them, and am not interested in exchanging token presents.

MIL (DH1s mum) got me photo frames and a hot plate plus some aftershave for new DP.
DPs mum got me a cook book for diabetics and a kenwoodchef. Happy little me

I got a lovely Clarins gift set too! SIL's present on the other hand was grim (can't say what in case she is on MN but she just always gets tasteless things that we don't need - maybe she hates me! )

Nice silver earrings but between DH and I she has got us 5 boxes of nasty 'Belgian-style' chocs in various guises (same brand as last Xmas and they taste of lard). Those lucky folks at work won't know what's hit 'em when I take those babies in

My MIL is wonderful, she got me a new mug to replace the one I'd broken, some books I wanted, a cashmere jumper, some socks and some turkish delight.

Can't fault my mil's gifts..

I got estee lauder face cream set (which I do use), a 2008 diary and from dh's nan (mil's mum, yet bought by mil) I got pj's and slippers. Perfect imo. Only thing was the pj's were in a size 12.....hmmm...maybe 2 years ago prior to 2 kids BUT im not a size 16! Not sure if she was hinting or didn't want to offend .

TBH mil has always got me lovely gifts.
