A star, an angel, something random... what's atop your tree?

Just a lighthearted and not-even-slightly scientific pool because I'm curious!

I'm preparing to be flamed here but I've just ordered a disco ball for the top of my thoroughly non-traditional and possibly garish tree 😁

I have a fairy - she’s a woodland fairy so not girly or pink/white - but she’s looking a bit worse for ware too many gins if you ask me.

I have a Robin. It’s a tree after all.

We have 'The Knitted Character' from Harry Hill's TV Burp on top of ours.

I have a fox wearing a santa hat & a scarf

I have a light up star, but it neither matches the bubbles, nor does it stay up properly as it's too heavy so need something new.

Laser cut wooden star. Absolutely stunning and quite unusual from someone on Etsy. And I bought it last year but lost it again till January so it never got used and this year will be the first outing.

I’m very excited and hoping I don’t lose it again…

I had a rather fab gold crescent moon with a black cat sitting on it - it was glorious and perfect. Until somehow it got a large jagged hole in it. I tried the next year covering the hole with a rather nice gold bow (!) but it just looked tacky, so alas, off to the bin it goes.

The replacement is a large star that lights up. Boring and not the right color lights so that has to go. Who knows what we'll end up with?

I have an angel made from a paper plate and a doily.

My son made it, aged two yrs, when he was attending a group called 'Mum Comes Too' - the group before going to (being left at) playgroup.

He's 30 yrs old now. I always wait for him to put it on top of the tree.

I am loving all these - particularly the more unusual ones!

I have a pterodactyl. A prehistoric angel, if you will.

We always used to have a fairy decked out in full fetish gear, underwear, boots, whip, the lot (God knows where she came from!). Then the kids came along and we thought she may prompt some uncomfortable questions. Now we have a star 😂

A star, which is a temporary measure until I find a fairy that I like. It's been temporary for 6 or 7 years.
