Thanks @allatonce99 for thread title

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Thread 7 - the one with matching bowels and plates
WineandDine · 22/09/2020 17:27

ClaraLane - that’s my problem too! I can see them on the main Tesco site but not when I try and add them to my upcoming delivery Sad
Will try B&M and Tesco in store...

IggyAce · 22/09/2020 17:29

@girlsyearapart my dd got some pretty little pjs from primark and I’m sure I spotted various gift sets with various movie quotes in B&M.

girlsyearapart · 22/09/2020 17:37

@Asj0405 the tote bag was perfect and I found some more good stuff then it was £25 postage 😳

Chocolateteabag · 22/09/2020 17:42

@Lazysundayafternoons - my near 7 year old and 9 year old Ds's like Roald Dahl rotten rhymes and then there's his other books if you don't already have them

Raindancer411 · 22/09/2020 17:43

@DaisyChops oh bless you, mine arrived by post but the box wasn't in a pristine state. Still a 3 year old won't mind and for the price, I cannot moan. If it's of any help, if you haven't got a very account with their £30 off for new account holders, there is a different version of a gift set. It would cost 29.99 after the money off so a another £4 but worth it.

Asj0405 · 22/09/2020 17:51

@girlsyearapart Shock sorry I didn't realise that! Maybe try primark as iggyace suggested

GenghisCalm · 22/09/2020 18:00

@Justyou

Has anyone managed to ore order the new Xbox? I think the sites have crashed
Have you tried Argos? We ordered one this morning.
FireflyGirl · 22/09/2020 18:01

@Lazysundayafternoons DS 5 loves the David Williams books and the Nothing to See Here Hotel series, which are £7.98 for the three book set on Lowplex. The fourth one has just come out as well.

Brogues · 22/09/2020 18:11

Wtfdidwedo · 22/09/2020 18:20

@Sausagis

Has anyone seen any good Harry Potter metal water bottles, online? Amazon has a lovely Hedwig one but it's plastic, and their metal ones are pretty naff.
Typo have them now and again but sadly don't seem to at the moment! This looks quite nice www.vanillaunderground.com/products/harry-potter-hedwig-letter-owl-600ml-drinks-bottle-white?gclid=CjwKCAjwwab7BRBAEiwAapqpTEImIDTOIwIG245JvkNHhpn5cYNUt_AH1ZoWVngPC_u5EZ90YmrcUxoC1hAQAvD_BwE
bookwormbeagle · 22/09/2020 18:27

I'm putting together my first order with Lisa Angel, they've got some beautiful bits on their website. Anyone know of any discount codes/special offers available?

Someaddedsugar · 22/09/2020 18:35

@bookwormbeagle I'm sure they'll have a sale end of October/early November so would definitely hold off if you can!

BooSurprise · 22/09/2020 18:39

@Lazysundayafternoons

Would anyone have suggestions for books for a 7 year old boy for stocking fillers? He enjoys the likes of horrid Henry and captain underpants so looking for something humorous.
How about Mr Gum books if they haven’t already been mentioned
Lockdownhairdontcare · 22/09/2020 18:43

@Sausagis Sainsbury’s have that bottle in store half price tonight.

PinkDaydreams · 22/09/2020 18:50

@Lockdownhairdontcare Amazon normally have ghd straighteners on the black Friday or cyber Monday. Cloud nine straighteners are also meant it be good but I personally have never tried them.

PinkDaydreams · 22/09/2020 18:52

I'm looking for a lap tray if anyone knows where to get one please?! It's for me to eat my tea on my knee Grin I've tried home bargains and b&m but can't find any. Doesn't have to be fancy, a basic plastic tray will be great. I was looking for one with the bean bag attached or fold down legs but can't find.
Thanks all!

EasterBuns · 22/09/2020 18:55

Someone is trying to resell the M&S gin on eBay for £44.95 Shock

gingerbeerandlemonade · 22/09/2020 18:55

@girlsyearapart they were books first- would she enjoy reading them?

Br1ll1ant · 22/09/2020 19:01

@Pinkdaydreams - you might try a garden centre? Our local one sells map trays.

Elpheba · 22/09/2020 19:02

@WhereTheresAHill the last two years they’ve done 20% off for the “white weekend” over Black Friday and the following weekend. It’s in store and online- it’s when I always get my DM’s Christmas present!

girlsyearapart · 22/09/2020 19:03

@gingerbeerandlemonade I have seen the books too- I’ll have to ask my sister if she’s read them or not

lucysmam · 22/09/2020 19:04

@Love51 thanks, I hadn't thought to check charity shops, I will do now! My friend has the high score now on her dd's & I can imagine it being quite addictive to beat your own/the high score Grin
