Thanks @allatonce99 for thread title

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Argos, Lidl and Aldi, thank you all! Unfortunately no Dunelm or the range within walking distance.

Someaddedsugar · 22/09/2020 20:29

Quite a few bargains in the Sainsbury's sale - colouring book was 50p, craft kits ranged from 60p to £1.50 and the Brew Dog book was £1.

Thought the craft kits can either be good for wet weekends now socialising is limited, or good filler gifts if needed.

pinkdaydreams they had some beanbag ones in Sainsburys last week. Caught my eye as had been looking for one for MIL, thought it might be useful as she does lots of crosswords etc but still not decided if it would be welcome or not. They have some William Morris print ones on Etsy that are nice but not a bargain.

Clementine8 · 22/09/2020 20:39

@Lazysundayafternoons I’d also recommend the Matt Mills books by Harry Hill and the David Baddiel books. DS finds them hilarious.

AndddddHerewegoagain · 22/09/2020 20:47

@PinkDaydreams they had them in thr works a few weeks ago. Also argos have them randomly

Willow4987 · 22/09/2020 20:49

I’ve not managed to read all the threads but the titles made me wonder....have the matching bowls and plates sets that were popular last year on a great offer back? I’ve been waiting all year to get some more

recklessgran · 22/09/2020 20:53

@peasando Jojo Maman Bebe have got lots of lovely soft dolls - got the Kaloo Tendresse one for my DGD's first birthday and she loved it and still plays with her now. [3 next month]. Really soft and pretty and just the right size for a little one.

thelegohooverer · 22/09/2020 20:54

I have my eye on some bits in Fat Face. Do they ever do discounts?

IveGotALovelyBunchOfCoconuts · 22/09/2020 20:55

Typos Christmas shop is open. Love these Friends ornaments - £3 each, but so cute!

@3isthemajicnumber I posted a message to Daisy a little while ago about if you are not a very member, they are doing £30 off when you sign up to their credit. They have a different version of a sylvanian gift set that you would get for 29.99. I have been trying to talk myself out of needing a second one to store for a few years lol (Daughter is only 4 months so I need to store these other one for a few years yet lol)

PinkDaydreams · 22/09/2020 20:59

Gutted, I was in Sainsbury's today and didnt see the colouring book bargain! I also didn't think to look in there for a flippin lap tray!

zeerecords · 22/09/2020 21:00

@girlsyearapart what about a PLL themed print & then a nice frame? I've bought prints from Etsy before for other themes and then got nice cheap frames from the range. Etsy have quite a few PLL themed gift but not bargains unfortunately! You could try pjs or a phone case? If she likes books there is a set that the tv series is based on also.

HanPanPeg · 22/09/2020 21:07

@peasando really recommend this doll for a 1 year old:

www.smythstoys.com/uk/en-gb/toys/fashion-and-dolls/dolls/28cm-la-baby-with-pink-outfit-set/p/156249

Hophop26 · 22/09/2020 21:40

@peasando there’s also several different soft baby annabell dolls from 12mths, good size and very soft. Think 1 is on the 2for£15 in Argos and also 2 different ones in tkmaxx at the mo for £7.99 and £9.99

Tiredmummyof3 · 22/09/2020 21:41

PP looking for Harry Potter bottles. .....I got one for the return to school from Sainsbury's. Not plastic....proper chilly style bottle.

Jess26385 · 22/09/2020 21:45

I need to post Christmas presents (including the dreaded puppets!!) to Singapore.... anyone recommend a cheap company. The cheapest I can find right now is quoting me £60 🤦🏻‍♀️🤷‍♀️ (This bloody thread encouraged me to buy too much 🤣)

JinglesWish · 22/09/2020 21:46

@Jess26385 I’m sending Christmas bedsheets to my goddaughter in Singapore. Let’s hire a big box 😂

PolkadotsAndMoonbeams · 22/09/2020 21:51

I'll join in on that! The postage very quickly gets more than the contents. Confused

Jess26385 · 22/09/2020 21:52

@JinglesWish I could totally fill it 🤣
I have Christmas themed hand gel that cost £1.50 from B&M that I just know my brother won’t even appreciate, but I thought was cute 🤣🤦🏻‍♀️ And now I am going to pay £60 to send crap 🤣

Fuckingfuckssake · 22/09/2020 21:59
