Thanks @allatonce99 for thread title

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

After scrolling past Lottie deals, I've now found myself looking to buy a doll. Ideally want to spend £10-£15 - is Lottie likely to be this price? Are Barbies? I know nothing about dolls!

Focusanddetermination · 26/09/2020 12:23

Dr Botanicals have a flash sale, 20% off (email notification). Then when I had purchased, was offered opportunity to buy coffee exfoliator for £2.49 with free postage.

Puffalicious · 26/09/2020 12:24

Tamtam TKMaxx always have gorgeous diffusers. My very favourite at the moment is Restorative in Sainsbury's - it's absolutely gorgeous, so fresh and scents the entire room.

Amazonmulu · 26/09/2020 12:27

@ZIGGY911

Has anyone managed more than one set of buns? I want two but not sure if it's one per prime account?
I've ordered two without any issue 🙈
CarrotVan · 26/09/2020 12:28

Mine too @deeplybaffled - very impressed

UselessInDisguise · 26/09/2020 12:33

I've ordered three lots of buns. Everytime I think im done I order some for someone else 🤣 think I will vacate this thread soon as now I'm not actually buying with purpose....i think christmas shopping 2020 is done minus a personalised stocking with santas envelope for ds2

EvilHerbivore · 26/09/2020 12:34

@thelegohooverer

With the year we’ve had, it’s almost believable that M&S might be selling guns
Not just any guns though, they'd be m&s guns 😁
ClosedAuraOpenMind · 26/09/2020 12:37

still not managed to get the buns but did notice amazon have a skeleton on their daily deals.....reduced to just under £400 Confused

Ewock · 26/09/2020 12:37

@CarrieMoonbeams

Thanks *@Dogmatix34*, I've just ordered 2 of the festive handwashes from Molton Brown, and got that special offer you posted about (2 x festive baubles and a hand cream, worth £34, free). Bargain! I'll keep the hand cream for myself and give my MIL and SIL one of the baubles each along with a couple of other things.

If anyone else is doing that, you probably won't need to sign up to the Good Housekeeping site, they emailed me the code GHK20 and you could just use that on the Molton Brown page when you spend £40 or more. It's free postage over £49, otherwise it's £3.95.

I'm having a problem with the Molton Brown site (my phone is rubbish) do you need a code for the offer or does it automatically add? Thanks
Clarabella72 · 26/09/2020 12:38

@ UselessInDisguise you could try Crabtree and Evelyn they do a Gardeners rescue hand cream that wasn’t too “floral ” smelling and works wonders on your hands

TheDrsDocMartens · 26/09/2020 12:38

I could only get one set of buns. Debated doing it via dh phone in middle of the night but gave up

Lockdownhairdontcare · 26/09/2020 12:40

I keep missing the bloody buns!!!

herecomesthsun · 26/09/2020 12:40

Ah so are the buns supposed to be £3? I haven't ordered them at £9.99 but have ordered 3 x mug-cakes and 3 x chocolate fudge brownies at £3.50 each as presents.

TheDrsDocMartens · 26/09/2020 12:41

Gift sets on here are good for hampers. www.cartmelvillageshop.co.uk/online-shop/

myhobbyisouting · 26/09/2020 12:45

Dammit. I need the buns

ZIGGY911 · 26/09/2020 12:45

Thanks all. I'd placed the bun order as a subscribe and save when I ordered in mid September so changed to fortnightly subscription and will get one next week and extra one I need the week after. Subscribe and Save price is £2.93 so even better.

Chrysanthemum5 · 26/09/2020 12:45

@Ewock you need a code
This should work GHK20

I couldn't get the site to accept a credit card so had to use PayPal

Ooh thank you, that sounds like just what I'm after for my mum!

Notlongnow1 · 26/09/2020 13:05

@Reastie just a heads up there is a lot of bun chat!

Ps I know you said you had a lot going on - happy to watch and sort if you don't have the time and/or energy

mogtheexcellent · 26/09/2020 13:08

@BeGoneDom

Lottie are expensive which is why I keep posting the deals. If 18.99 on amazon now they will drop to around 16.50. 21.99 will drop to 18 ish. They are only about 15%off but these rarely drop in price unless discontinued. They are small for the price as only 7 inches but they are realistic body shapes (modelled on an average 9 year old I think). Clothes for them are expensive as not conventional sized dolls. They are themed around a lot of stem so engineering, fossil hunting as well as conventional ballet etc. You may have better choice with a barbie within that price range but I have no experience of them.

thelegohooverer · 26/09/2020 13:17

For those looking for the Burrow it’s worth keeping an eye on the Lego Store. They tend not to do discounts but often have freebies if you spend a certain amount which can be good for stocking fillers or a small present. Still got my fingers crossed for some decent Smyths offers

1stTimeMama · 26/09/2020 13:20

Also looking for the Attack on the Burrow. And Diagon Alley has gone straight to the top of the wish list!!

myhobbyisouting · 26/09/2020 13:23

If anyone sees bargain garden decorations/window decs please let me know!

Also creating a grotto indoors so anything grotto themed please.

And buns. I need buns. Grr
