Thanks @allatonce99 for thread title

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Not my find, but someone has posted on FB that B&M have boxes of Lindt for £1

Thread 7 - the one with matching bowels and plates
Chocolateteabag · 22/09/2020 13:01

Another book one

Book Depository are good for new books (& are on topcashback) - they also do worldwide free post so good for sending to New Zealand etc (for those who have family overseas who we are now not going to get to see this year Sad)

Also Lindt themselves (also on Topcashback) do their big range of balls as pick and mix online - if you can't bear to go to an outlet shop (scarred by my last MacArthur Glen experience) not as cheap as £1 fromB&m though!

Onlyahalfbottle · 22/09/2020 13:15

@tabbycat985 thank you so much for the snail and the whale link, I saw it in WHSmith this morning but DD was playing up so didn't investigate and now I don't have to!
Lots of Ted Baker stuff in the clearance in our local Boots, body sprays for £1.75 good for stockings maybe

shipperssss · 22/09/2020 13:19

I don't really need them, but if anyone sees any bargainous Tegu blocks could they please give me a shout Grin

mumontherun14 · 22/09/2020 13:27

Love the new thread name xxx

RubySlippers77 · 22/09/2020 13:47

Thank you for the new thread Reastie Grin

Amazon have chocolate fudge brownie kit chocolate fudge brownie kits for £3.50 at the moment, the cinnamon ones are back to full price for now. Free delivery with Prime.

My (local but small!) M&S had the clementine gin today but not the rhubarb one I wanted Sad and the shortbread house I bought doesn't play any music! Good thing I checked before I posted it off as a Christmas present but it'll mean a trip back to M&S to swap it but at least I can check for the gin again

RubySlippers77 · 22/09/2020 13:48

Sorry, fudge brownie kit link fail! Try here

Courtney555 · 22/09/2020 13:57

B&M have got really lovely large red velvet sacks with initials on. Probably not too durable, but only £6! I'm now with 3DC and all their PJ's won't fit in one Christmas Eve box, I'm going to use them for that.

They only got put out a couple of days ago apparently and have been flying out of the door, so the till girl told me...

Lockdownhairdontcare · 22/09/2020 14:02

@Reastie follow up on stationary. Just got DD great sharpie fine liner pens in a snap tub for £2.50 in home bargains. £10/15 online elsewhere.

They also had nice notebooks, pens, post it notes etc all very well priced.

Lazysundayafternoons · 22/09/2020 14:02

Would anyone have suggestions for books for a 7 year old boy for stocking fillers? He enjoys the likes of horrid Henry and captain underpants so looking for something humorous.

Lockdownhairdontcare · 22/09/2020 14:05

@Reastie me again 🤦🏻‍♀️. Now on Rex London and lots of stationary bargains too.

FilthyforFirth · 22/09/2020 14:07

Just got an email from My First Years. 25% off nursery items. Might be good for lovely personalised items you may need to purchase! Code NURSERY25

JuiceyBetty · 22/09/2020 14:11

Thanks for new thread! Local M&S all sold out of the gin. I don't even drink gin but think the bottles are SO pretty.

WineandDine · 22/09/2020 14:15

Speaking of chocolates, has anyone seen the limited edition Emma Bridgewater Roses tins in their local Tesco? I keep meaning to check mine!

Thread 7 - the one with matching bowels and plates
FrolickingLemon · 22/09/2020 14:23

They had the Emma Bridgewater Roses tins in my B&M last week.

Onlyahalfbottle · 22/09/2020 14:24

I don't need that tin of Roses but it's in my Tesco shopping basket now so if you get your groceries delivered it's available!

Onelittlepiglet · 22/09/2020 14:26

@Lazysundayafternoons Have you got the Treehouse series books? They are very funny and my DD (6) loved them.
Sometimes they have them as a box set in The Works but not at the moment sadly. Here is one on amazon
www.amazon.co.uk/13-Storey-Treehouse-Books/dp/1447279786?tag=mumsnetforu03-21

nillygin · 22/09/2020 14:34

@Lazysundayafternoons, @Onelittlepiglet I second the Storey Treehouse series if you haven’t already got it! Also Tom Gates series is good for that age.

Teabird · 22/09/2020 14:36

@GirlWithTheYellowHat. I got one on the Home Bargains website. They kept going in and out of stock so worth keeping an eye on 👁!

Dogmatix34 · 22/09/2020 14:39

Cinnamon bun kit available on Ocado for £2.25. I bought it a few weeks ago. This version is less “gifty” looking. My DS (12) made them and they were delicious but he said they were quite a faff!

Justyou · 22/09/2020 14:42

Has anyone managed to ore order the new Xbox? I think the sites have crashed

Onelittlepiglet · 22/09/2020 14:46

I don’t know if this has been posted already so apologies if it has, but having just looked at The Works I spotted two bargains:

Meg and Mog set of 10 books for £10
www.theworks.co.uk/p/childrens-book-collections/meg-and-mog-adventures-10-kids-picture-books-bundle/9780241464441.html

And 10 Peppa Pig Books for £10 too

ClaraLane · 22/09/2020 14:46

@Onlyahalfbottle

I don't need that tin of Roses but it's in my Tesco shopping basket now so if you get your groceries delivered it's available!
Ahhh I can’t find it on the groceries app - only the normal one!
user1019273703 · 22/09/2020 14:47

I managed to get the last bottle of rhubarb gin in m & s today! Very happy
