@Lau523 I received 2 letters then two text messages 1/8 and 21/8. Was trying to avoid calling because of the long hold but 18 weeks tomorrow so think I probably should.

My scan date is the 30/05 ive just come off the phone and been told mine is with a decision maker and has been for a couple of days so could be anyday now, fingers crossed my son gets awarded! And good luck to everyone else waiting, it drags out forever!

So just got off the call. Lovely lady, was really helpful, but I didnt get the answer I needed. Still not with a DM, average time is currently 17.5 weeks, she said I will hear by the 2nd week of October. Might be sooner, but she is not able to give me a date. A bit deflated now.
I asked to receive a text when the decision has been made. I won't be calling them again me thins x

Just got off the phone, I called 9am on the dot and got through in 20 mins. The lady said 17 weeks to reach DM then two weeks from there, however I doubt how accurate that is. I am not going to call now till week of the 09/10, this wait is killing me. I am going to try not to think about it now.

by the look of it, people seem to get paid on Wednesday backdate if you look back on the other thread. Fingers crossed for us all, hopefully not long left.

I just called too. But she told me 18 weeks. 😫 I won’t call again either, we’ve made it to 15 weeks what’s another 3 🫣 x

Just got off the phone, her claim hasn’t been looked at yet and the lady told me the wait is currently taking about 17.5-18 weeks

Congratulations to everyone! I’ve just rang up, scan date 30th may, the decision was made yesterday. I was awarded LRM and MRC, back date payment on way 😊 I sent no evidence in but she has been awarded it before. Good luck to all those waiting. It was 17 weeks for me x

Hello all!
Long time reader, first time poster.
I've applied for my son who's seven and diagnosed with Autism. I included his report from Complex Neurodevelopmental Disorders Service (CNDS). It has reports from four professionals on it as my son when to their school setting once a week for six weeks.
This includes school visits where he had a meltdown (even tho the school says this doesn't happen). Diagnosis took almost six years as he's so good at masking and has a very high IQ. At home he's a different person tho, very sweet but with very violent meltdowns. We've had to put locks on the windows etc for his safety. Anyway the school have been against us the whole way and I really think the senco was shocked we got a Diagnosis. He is on the sen register now, has one to one once a week, uses a weighted cushion, figets and writing wedge. I didn't include a letter from the school and am worried what they'll say if contacted. I put in an official complaint last year against the senco to get his weighted cushion (as it was on his report as a need) and to have access though reception if overwhelmed on a morning due to crowds. I sadly now don't feel I can talk to her and she hasn't spoken to me since even tho she's on the gates every morning. I would move schools but both my children have a small group of friends and I think that's so important. Especially as my son finds it hard to make friends and a teacher had to help him at first.

Just got off the phone after an hour wait to be told they are now looking at 18 weeks before getting to DM. Mine is still not with DM. 17 weeks tomorrow. Gonna be a long few weeks. Have requested a text be sent but apparently the system has been playing up and they are trying not to use it as much. Atleast I know today, it’s not been refused. Xxx

This gives me hope! My new claim is 31/05 yesterday it wasn’t with a dm I may call Monday now to see how it is x congratulations x

I’m sure your date is the day after mine. (I’m 01/06) and was basically told the same as you today. Maybe our forms are in the same pile. I don’t wanna call again now. I also asked for a text regarding decision. The one positive of today, it’s not been rejected-yet! I am not convinced I’ll get an award. Everything crossed for you and we hear something soon xxx
