Muva306 · 27/09/2023 11:00

I’ve tried calling twice this morning and been cut off both times

Chloec211 · 27/09/2023 11:17

@Chels2020 good luck! It should be any day for you now then 🤞🏼

Chloec211 · 27/09/2023 11:19

@Muva306 its so annoying! I was cut off once this morning before getting through and I’ve had days where it’s taken a few times

Mummyof6love · 27/09/2023 11:26

@Muva306 i had tried 5 times before I actually got past the options. All others I got to the end and it cut me off. Keep trying. Was on hold for an hour before answering and then had about a 30 second conversation. 😩🙈

Mummyof6love · 27/09/2023 10:34

@CHDmumma
Just got off the phone after an hour wait to be told they are now looking at 18 weeks before getting to DM. Mine is still not with DM. 17 weeks tomorrow. Gonna be a long few weeks. Have requested a text be sent but apparently the system has been playing up and they are trying not to use it as much. Atleast I know today, it’s not been refused. Xxx

Ahh least you got some answers. I'm going to attempt a call this afternoon to put my mind at rest I think. I shall let you know x

StephanieCee · 27/09/2023 13:17

Hi, just a quick question, still currently waiting for a decision from DLA regarding my sons condition, does everyone receive a text when they’ve been awarded or is it sort of hit and miss?

Chloec211 · 27/09/2023 13:19

@StephanieCee definitely hit and miss! I haven’t had one x

Albiesmum621 · 27/09/2023 13:21

Congrats! You must so relieved. Can I ask if your little one had a diagnosis?

StephanieCee · 27/09/2023 13:51

Has anyone rang recently to see if they are on June scan dates? The wait is killing me slowly🤣

There’s been a few June dates done already. But I’m 15th and wen I called yesterday the lady said to call in 2 weeks and it should be done which will put me at 17 weeks.

@Mummy335 you are my type of person 😂💗 that’s what I’m waiting on. Was rejected end of august, let them know the next day I wanted a MR so they made note of it and sent my MR forms off last Thursday. Was only trying to call today to make sure they know I’ve sent paperwork, if it hasn’t been scanned already

Ktkat90 · 27/09/2023 14:07

@almightyfroggie i called and was told not to call again until the 16th October last Friday - decision was made and awarded yesterday :)
sont know if it helps anybody (though I don’t k ow rates as of yet)
my little one is 3 in November - lots of input from childrens centre regarding development delays , speech and language , social communication . Has support at nursery and referral has been made for paeds. His older brother has ASD/ PDA
was short and sweet ont he form - most answers were ‘variable’ and then included an extra sheet (two sides of A4) explaining a typical day and night .

I’m 14/6 and rang this morning. She said 18 weeks now but I know that can be a bit hit and miss to how true it is x

Chels2020 · 27/09/2023 09:06

Congratulations what was your scan date did you do a coc? Thanks x

Mine was a renewal, when I called to get forms for a COC they told me just to go straight for renewal as that would be dealt with before a COC, scan date was 18/07, renewal due 21/10.

Albiesmum621 · 27/09/2023 15:19

@zoeybrooks45 im over the moon. We have 3 diagnosis of developmental difficulties, speech delay and sleep problems. With suspected ADHD/ASD although not tested yet as apparently too young. The only evidence I sent in with a report from Edwin Lobo.

BoyMumGirlMum2022 · 27/09/2023 15:28

@MummyBrx
Some one else with the same date as us has been awarded. So I dunno what to think now. I'm so anxious and undecided whether to call or not. Had planned to do so Friday. But don't know its worth it or not. I sent so much evidence and a statement from our HV plus they have my sons physio details. But as we've been declined before, I just can't help have this doubting feeling. Ugh,.this is awful.
