@Chloec211 that's so unlucky - I could kick myself too, but these things happen when life gets in the way! Hopefully the decision will be made soon - I'm hoping that it's an easy decision as my daughter's circumstances were the same as previously, only she had a diagnosis in time for this application - Good Luck

Chloec211 · 26/09/2023 15:50

Not much changed for mine either, I’m just a bit worried I’ve rushed it through and haven’t gave enough detail. Soon find out though. Good luck to you too 😊

Mumof2boys11 · 26/09/2023 16:19

My scan date is the 2nd june, I'm 17 weeks on Friday will keep updated in here. I'm just in hold now. Hoping they answer before it cuts of. Such a long wait, I've applied for my boy who has adhd. Has anyone else applied under that and what evidence did you have?
Thanks and good luck to you all 🥰

Chloec211 · 26/09/2023 16:28

@Mumof2boys11 I’ve applied for daughter who has ASD and they only got the report that I had from CAMHS. I’ve sent nothing this time so not feeling confident, 17 weeks today though so I’m sure I’ll soon find out xx

Same scan date and same circumstances. My 14 year old daughter been diagnosed with ADHD at the start of this year. She's having her ADOS done next week. We supplied her diagnosis report with info about SPD, cognitive assessment report which also highlighted learning difficulties and problems with executive function, medication info, letter from school that she is on SEN register, her pupil plan, recently added a letter from GP saying she is unable to attend school (a lot of school refusal), report from consultations and therapy. All done privately by a very reputable paediatrician as we have been massively let down by the system. X

Mumof2boys11 · 26/09/2023 16:39

@Chloec211

Fingers crossed for you 🙏

I'm thinking in the next 2 weeks i should hear.
I sent a statement from class teacher about behaviours but was not on headed paper! I sent in Regulation plan and learning passport. Diagnosis report, and correspondence from adhd nurse that have seem my son in clinic and a statement from my self of how my son is on a daily basis. I'm hoping that's enough. It's all I have for now anyway!
We have to fight so hard for our children. I really hope they get what they deserve 🙏

neuromummy · 26/09/2023 16:47

hey guys, i just got told by a lovely lady on the phone that its avaraging to 18weeks now, and that the wait times have gone down.

She did mention that she was very grateful to me for having my reference handy, so try to have your reference ready when calling, as it speeds things up for them! hope this helps!

Chloec211 · 26/09/2023 16:49

@Mumof2boys11 I think you’ve sent more than enough then. I didn’t have anything new till after I applied, I’ve got quite a few bits now due to application for EHCP which will come in handy should I need to appeal. We really do! Good luck to you too 😊

Mumof2boys11 · 26/09/2023 16:57

@Loup19863 congrats on being awarded 🙂

Did you have a text date before you awarded text? If so how many weeks between?
Thank you
17 weeks this Fri for me x

Jaymum12 · 26/09/2023 16:58

@Oz68 same scan date as me, hoping to hear this week 🤞

Ktkat90 · 26/09/2023 17:14

Hi All - Thought I’d share my timeline as I know a few have mentioned same/close scan dates .
I called Friday to be told it’s taking 19 weeks to get to a DM and not to call back until the 16th October .
rang today and was told it was now allocated to a DM but wouldn’t give a timeframe for decision .
had a call from DM at around 3:45 to confirm some things on claim form , DM said decision would be made today and I should receive a letter within 7-10 days (she did let slip that my son had been awarded as she mentioned sending a text when the decision was finalised but no clue of what rates - he isn’t entitled to mobility as he is only two ) . It’s exactly 17 weeks today for me - scan date 30/05.

Loup19863 · 26/09/2023 17:17

@Mumof2boys11 thank you 🥰 I got a txt on 21st of august saying they were still looking at my claim so I’ve just worked it out it was 5wks and 1 day after that txt that I’ve been awarded. Hope you hear something soon 🤞🏻 xx

Mariaj2404 · 26/09/2023 17:26

My scan date is the 23rd of May..it went to a decision maker on the 19th September exactly a week today..rang today and its been reallocated to another decision maker ...she said that normally happens when the person is off sick or goes on leave ..so its probably just been sitting there on the desk for a week..I'm glad I now know why it hasn't been dealt with but its such a stressful process

xox4598 · 26/09/2023 17:30

hey i rang today found out my lb just turned 3as been awarded hrc i requested forms 14th of april they were due back 26th may but scanned 30th may theyve awarded from 14th april i didnt realy send much information just a salts referral and pediatrician referral appointment letter i was expected a decline so dont give up hope guys xx

Lau523 · 26/09/2023 17:30

My scan date is 25/05 i called on friday and was told it was with a decision maker so hopefully will find out this week hopefully you will too

Hrm3 · 26/09/2023 17:40

😡I don’t know why this has gone under your post sorry it was about another one 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

Megandoll · 26/09/2023 17:40

sorry what is a scan date? Isit the date they receive the claim? I was told mine was received on the 1st processed on the 7th

Hrm3 · 26/09/2023 17:40

😡that was meant for other post and was angry face at dwp not your post sorry

Hrm3 · 26/09/2023 17:42

It’s disgusting. If they can’t prioritise children with disabilities and health difficulties on the breadline over bloody making sure the rich stay rich then they are truly the lowest government we have ever had. These are the most vulnerable children in society

BoyMumGirlMum2022 · 26/09/2023 17:43

@MummyBrx You have the same scan date as my LB. This wait is absolutely excruciating. I've applied for him once before and was denied, due to his main medical concern being his mobility. So waited until he turned 3 to reapply. Hoping to hear something soon but I'm not holding out much hope for it being in the next week or so!

Chels2020 · 26/09/2023 17:48

4 weeks for me tomorrow since my last text message from them I have had two letters and two texts now hopefully the next text is an award notice one :) x

Sskanf · 26/09/2023 18:06

I've had 2 letter 1 acknowledgement letter another saying we are looking at your claim you don't need to contact us. 1 txt saying we are looking at you're claim you don't need to contact us I think its a 20 day gap between 1st and 2nd msg from what I've read previous

Sskanf · 26/09/2023 18:09

Fingers crossed the next step is for them to make a decision and hopefully award u. As from others experiences its 2 txts and 2 letters before a decision

Lau523 · 26/09/2023 18:27

It is very stressful when they make you wait so long! I think my son deserves it but because he is 2 1/2 it makes me worried because of his age
