I have never claimed anything before, my daughter was diagnosed in May after 18 months of back and forth to the Hospital....still ongoing. It would just be nice if they could at least communicate better, save people the heartbreak of being declined and the sheer panic of waiting

Don’t worry if you haven’t sent a birth certificate as they don’t ask for one once you submit a claim. If they need it, they’ll contact you and ask for it.

Has a part 15 thread been made yet as we’re close to 1000 comments. Last time there were two part 15 threads and that was so confusing😂

I’m 9th of June scan date for a COC has anyone heard anything more regarding COC time waits, feels like it’s taking forever 😵‍💫

I spoke to some one last week and the man said 27 weeks buy slowly coming down, realisticly probably be 27 weeks x

I've had 2 letters and 2 texts since scan date. Is it roughly 5 week wait after receiving 2nd txt msg before it goes to a DM?

I've also received my 2nd text at 1:58pm today so hopefully we all only have another 5 weeks to wait guys. Still seems to far but we’re getting closer guys.

MRC from 2nd May. Thought I would have to fight for him.

I got it at exactly the same time today too. I'm hoping 2nd week of November too. Although when I called to update my contact number I was told I won't get a decision till mid December! I hope the person I spoke to was over estimating!
Same scan date as mine by the way

Scan date 18th May,was turned down 1st October started MR on the 1st October and was awarded today HRM LRM don't give up peeps x

OMG amazing!! Do you see how many people they expect to just not appeal? How they go from completely declined to HRM LRM is absolute madness.

Can anyone help with the universal credit side of things? I’m looking online I’ve just received the letter with the entitlement and I can’t find what heading I need to report the change on? If anyone can point me in the right direction thanks in advance x

Scan date was 08/06, it took them 2 or 3 weeks to scan it is otherwise it would have been much earlier. I'm doubtful that they will be going by the stamp date as it was slightly late by the time they scanned it. I'm just so thankful that his needs have been recognised, my other son was refused a few years back and I never fought it so I wasn't hopeful this time around. Really hope lots of you get some good decisions this week. The wait really is awful x

They scanned mine after the date too, will only backdate to scan date. I'm working with welfare rights and their writing me a MR to just look at the dates. They said its worth a try as I sent it in time.

Hi, so Im 17 weeks today. Had to send my sons birth certificate yesterday special delivery. Ive just seen its been delivered. Does anyone know how long it will take for them to scan it?
im hoping if its done today our wait time wont be delayed due to the complication.
Really hoping to hear by end of next week (scan date 13/06/23)

Got through this morning at 9.15. Scan date 07/06 for my 3.5 year old lovely chap said it wasn't them who called over the weekend but claim is with dicision maker and looking at time frame I should have a decision in 2-3days so fingers crossed for good news. I asked him to make a note also that she is in assessment for EHCP and dicision for that is 30th Oct and gsp funding for 1to1 currently also as when I claimed I had IEPS and awaiting gsp funding.

Just updating I rang and was told still with a decision maker but when I called last Thursday it wasn't. They couldn't tell me how long it's been with d.m but said time frame is anywhere from 1 day to 2 weeks. They said they would send a text but I'm not sure they always do. Have you heard anything today?

@Muva306 I still haven't heard anything either. I have just tried to call but had an engaged line and hung up... so I'm guessing they are extremely busy lol... it must depend what desk it lands on. I will try again soon if I get hold of them I will let you know what they say. Try to stay positive I don't think they are doing the MRS in date order x
