I sent my renewal claim in at the beginning of March, my claim ended on 25th. All I am getting is messages saying that they are still looking 😐

Mumofsoontobe5 · 08/08/2023 21:09

@WooYa id be calling them by now if it’s classed as a new claim someone just said their claim was accepted today for an April scan date I’d also request the complaint procedure if they say u need to wait longer without a good reason

@WooYa i can’t remember if renewals were taking shorter or longer than the new claims if someone can update that would be helpful

My daughter was officially diagnosed today with epilepsy, I applied with no official diagnoses should I ring them and tell them? Or just wait? I've already called to chase it yesterday 🤦‍♀️

Hi my scan date was 23/05 I rang up yesterday because I haven’t even received any letters, text ect I actually posted the form on 11/05,and they told me it’s a 26 week waiting time and I should hear about a decision last week of November 😕.
Has anyone else been told this because I’ve gone through the threads and most people are saying 15/16 weeks. Thanks x

I was told 26 weeks for new motobility claims and change of circumstances and 18 weeks for renewals when I called last week.

126t · 08/08/2023 21:31

Hi my renewal forms should be sent out soon as anyone had their renewal declined

WooYa · 08/08/2023 21:51

@MuMumofsoontobe5 Everytime I've tried to call, I'm either waiting over an hour on hold or I get the message saying 'you don't need to contact us'... I'm off work tomorrow so I'll give them a call :)

Mumoftwins2007 · 08/08/2023 22:06

I called up today and was told 16 week wait at the min for a decision. My scan date is 18/05 so they said I have about another 2 weeks to wait.

Smigger123 · 09/08/2023 08:35

16 weeks today and haven't heard anything yet 😕
@Mumofsoontobe5 renewals are meant to be looked at quicker, with the hope that your money doesn't stop. I would ring them if I were you x

Shellbel10 · 09/08/2023 08:41

Someone got awarded yesterday with a scan date of 18/04

Livelaughlovemum · 09/08/2023 10:03

I was at week 16 on Monday and still waiting heard nothing called Monday not be told much wasn't even informed if its with a dm literally driving me insane now every single day waiting for a letter or txt to know if my daughter has been awarded they really don't make it a easy process just stressful from start to finish you'd think with technology and being in 2023 would be a much quicker process for us all.

WooYa · 09/08/2023 15:06

Currently on hold.... 1hour 40 minutes 😐

WooYa · 09/08/2023 15:24

They didn't recieve my documents until 25/4 so I've got another 2 weeks to wait until I hear 😡

Dasons777 · 09/08/2023 17:01

Scan date 26/04. New claim. Called today as 15wks as per original letter said. Was told now 18th’s wait and call back 1st sept if not heard

1daughterand3sons · 09/08/2023 17:08

Both Ds and DD renewals wasn't looked at until after their reward ended.

Mommyof42023 · 09/08/2023 19:01

I rang last Monday and my scan date was the 25/04 and she said give it 2 weeks so the 14th of august I’m going to call Monday if not heard anything honestly every week they are changing their times it’s ridiculous

Mummyto3boys23 · 10/08/2023 09:29

Morning all, so frustrated 😠 I rang Monday for an update to be told allocations were done and call towards the end of the week as hopefully a decision will have been made. Called this morning- got a snotty women who said its 17.5 weeks for a decision now and that my sons isn't even with anyone! I've put a complaint in as don't think it's fair to be told that then it's not even with anyone. Most stressful thing I've done this is..

Shellbel10 · 10/08/2023 09:33

good Luck @Mummyto3boys23 im sure you’ll hear very soon. The thing is they’re not consistent either you could ring tomorrow and be told something different

3mummy3 · 10/08/2023 10:30

@Mummyto3boys23 How frustrating for you hope you get decision soon, i do think its bad that people waiting after 15 weeks havent been sent a letter or anything regarding delays even for others if they are taking longer they should update the waiting time.@Shellbel10 I agree they are very inconsistent people are getting told so many different weeks but wondering if maybe it's because it has been allocated to a DM pile and that's why it's different 🤔

Mummyto3boys23 · 10/08/2023 10:35

On my original letter it says up to 15 weeks.. they need to reword it can take longer or like you say send a letter or msg. By now you would think they would have a better system. I wouldn't mind but being told that Monday then today something very different it's really frustrating. Someone is meant to be calling me back so we shall see what's said then x

Shellbel10 · 10/08/2023 10:47

Fingers and toes crossed for you

Mummyto3boys23 · 10/08/2023 10:55

Thank you! Just had a call from a manager. Call was listened back to and she has apologised for Monday. She said they are on dates 18th and 19th April. Hopefully my sons will be allocated soon. She is going to keep an eye on it. I gave feedback and said that people need to be consistent with what they are telling people and also about the wording of the initial letter which states up to 15 weeks. She agreed. Fingers crossed we here soon and so does everyone else x

Piony · 10/08/2023 11:16

thanks for sharing that @Mummyto3boys23 . I guess all they ever really know is what date they are currently working on.

MinnieTruck · 10/08/2023 18:47

My 15 month old got awarded nearly 5 weeks ago. I just sent off the forms for my 2 year old daughter today who has Autism. The wait begins🫡

Mumofthreexx97 · 10/08/2023 20:43

Hiya all, thank you for the updated thread. My sons scanning date is 03 May, and I called on Monday as it’s past 14 weeks now they are saying 17.5 weeks for us so the week beginning 4th September. Fingers crossed we all get decisions soon it’s so nerve wracking waiting x
