New thread for DLA wait times part 12 please inform information others may feel helpful in their wait wait times are currently looking at being
15-17 weeks for DLA new claims.

That's good news! It may go into your bank before you even a letter so you might be able to work it out, you was 2 weeks ahead of me so hopefully not long now

Fingers crossed people get a text this weekend too

I’m on phone to them now to see what’s happening. They told me it would been seen again within a week yesterday was a week so fingers crossed

Currently on hold with them hoping to find out if we’ll have a decision soon! We are 16 weeks on Wednesday so scan was 25/04! Really hoping we hear soon

scan date 25/04 still not with a case manager he said wait is now 16 and half weeks he said to call again in 10-14 days to see if it is with a case manager

Scan date 25/04 and I’ve just been told to ring back if I haven’t heard anything by September! It’s such an infuriatingly long wait, I was really hoping to hear it was with a case manager since I’m pretty much at 16 weeks!

It's just always adding on 2 weeks every single time isn't it, it's highly frustrating hopefully not long

Scan date 20th April- called this morning and my son has been awarded finally. So relived its over- until renewal anyway. He was awarded 11th August.

Seems like people 17th April- 21st have heard back.
Im going to call on Friday to see if any update for my son.
Hopefully they are working on 24th-28th April this week! Fingers crossed for you all

we're at 15 weeks as of tomorrow. Such a long wait! Last year it's was 13 weeks for my Dd - successful for her and Ds is very similar. I'm not going to phone as i do think it's just about waiting - probably another 2 weeks!!

I’m 21/4 and heard nothing last text was July saying still looking at it and I called first week of august to be told mid august Maybe it’ll go to a decision maker 😭 I’m just so fed up of waiting things are so stressful and this is something we really need sorted out

Just got through, lady on phone was lovely she said it will be on the 17th week the dm will recieve application application they have a week or 2 to make a decision so she said all in all around 19 weeks.

They just keep moving the deadline to when they’ll look at it back without even informing us by text or a letter, I’m going to put a complaint in today when I get through as they are saying 15 weeks by text and on the letters it’s so frustrating , good luck to you and everyone on here as well hopefully we all get the answers we need in the next few weeks x
