DLA wait times part 12

New thread for DLA wait times part 12 please inform information others may feel helpful in their wait wait times are currently looking at being
15-17 weeks for DLA new claims.

My scan date is 11/04. Still not heard a thing. Called on week 15+6. They said end of next week. So yesterday! Going to call Monday in the hope of hearing something. But no pending payment so I think my sons been rejected

we have received the letter about our carers stopping on the 29/08 as that’s when our dla is due to stop.we had confirmation they received our renewal on 25/5.Changes since his last award are-diagnosed as autistic,chromosome microdeltion and selective mutism with a vitamin d deficiency..His original award was based on suspicion of having autism.will we have to reapply for carers if we get our result late?Will dla be backdated from when the claim ends?will they change their original assessment deposits all the evidence provided?
Been having sleepless nights due to the worry

Scan date 5th may, spoke to them last week looking at the last week of august but who knows seems everyone is told a random wait time.

My scan date is 17/4 and has been with the decision maker since this Wednesday gone.

Got a may 18th scan date, sent off a couple of things of evidence with it including his EHA and private speech report
I think I m going to hold off with extra evidence incase I have to go to MR as I could probably get his nursery to back me up now if it comes to it (he started a bit after I d applied).

Hi my scan date was 17/04 and still heard nothing my little girl is 4 yrs old diagnosed with autism by pediatrician (referred for pathway) is still in a stroller still babbles cannot talk and is still in nappies she starts school in Sept which I'm so stressed about as don't feel she's ready but we are currently going through ehcp to be put in place but it's week 16 for us now so may ring today 🤞 all is good as I did put in copies of speech therapy/pediatrician report and report from nursery teacher so hope this was enough evidence.

Scan date was 5/4. Called this morning my son was awarded 4/4. Low rate mobility and middle rate care

I called this morning as I was curious and the guy said he was going to chase it up as week 16 now. He did say allocations had taken place so hopefully ours has been allocated and to call in afew days x

Little advice take care when doing the security when they answer the phone. My little boy is non verbal and he was trying too show me something whilst I was on the phone and I gave my husbands sort code instead of my own. I failed security and she said she had too terminate the call after waiting and hour and ten minutes too be answered

Hi. Iv just got threw on the phone. I’m at 14 and half weeks since they received my claim. They said not looked at yet and it would be about week 17-18. Not what I wanted to hear but what can we do but wait

My scan date 27 April I rang on Friday to send extra evidence in and he told me another 2 weeks so who knows

@Smigger123 just got off the phone not even with a dm
I've put a formal complaint in and should get a call between 3 and 5 working days
I was polite and friendly and the call handler was so rude speaking over me and tell me there's no point putting a complaint in because there going too tell me exactly what shes told me even though they all tell us different

@weenie1993 ah thank you! I was hoping yours would be with the dm. I'm not going to call I'm just trying to wait. Was hoping we'd have a decision this week but doesn't seem likely now does it 😕
