Thought I'd continue the thread as it had reached its limit.

My application will be awhile before any response but scanned 5 July and nothing yet.

Does anyone know if you get a higher disabled child element on uc if your child receives hrc? If so how long does it take to adjust onto uc? X

Yes you do. And pretty sure it only takes 3-5 days after you upload the letter from dla x

@Oilytoe90 ah thanks, I had to do a change in circumstances for uc as he already receives the disabled element as he was getting mrc but he's now getting hrc. Do you think it'll still be the 3-5 days even though it's just a change? X

Rang up this morning n as of last week they was looking at claims from 9th June. I'm 12july anyone else waiting same time as me?

Hiya, I have an application received on the 5th July and I'm still waiting. Too scared to call and the long phone call wait times put me of even more!

I rang this morning and they wouldn't give details of which dates they are currently working on. I'm 23rd June and all the said was should hearby end of the month. So tired of waiting 😭

The man I spoke to this morning said they get an email every Monday at what date there working at but didn't receive one this morning but said last week was 6th June

rung just now, my daughter has been awarded high rate care and low rate mobility!
the decision was made yesterday.

I was nearly sick when she told me, then cried! Really didn’t think we would get it. She’s asked me to book Harry Potter studios!!
now to get hold of universal credit! 🤦‍♀️

Thankyou; I’ve just updated my journal, I’m new to universal credit so not sure if I’ve done it right, I’ll ring them tomorrow to check!
really hope everyone else gets good news soon: this thread has kept me going.

@3Angelz My scan date is 02/08/22 so we hopefully won’t be too far apart in getting a decision!
