Thought I'd continue the thread as it had reached its limit.

My application will be awhile before any response but scanned 5 July and nothing yet.

@Momma25 my sons claim was declined in September after 6 years of being awarded MRC for him previously. I can’t understand why as his needs have got more rather than less. Shame we have to fight so hard for what our children deserve isn’t it! Fingers crossed we both hear something soon, I really don’t think I can take another 2 months of waiting it’s making me a nervous wreck! x

I think it’s disgusting that we have to fight for what our babies deserve my son is 15 and I’ve been fighting all his life and only just started to get the help he deserves. this money is not why I’m fighting so hard he needs middle rate to get the extra government paid one to one teacher at school that’s why I’m fighting I really don’t care about what I do for him because I would do it anyway like all us mums n dads would and to make us wait even longer the only people really suffering is our children x

Trustynickname · 08/11/2022 07:57

@Shaimummy thats reassuring. Hopefully hear soon. I have seen some people are still waiting for end of July and start of august so I have no idea what process there using. Hopefully if there being looked at this week then we will have some news next week or the following 🤞🏻

xxAmy · 08/11/2022 08:37

@MichelleG78 did you send in any new/old evidence? This is what worries me for my boys renewal x

@xxAmy I missed the renewal date so it was classed as a new claim. He’d previously been awarded in 2018 for 4 years so a lot had changed in that time. He’d started school, new behaviours had developed etc. I rushed the form as it was late and don’t think I sent enough evidence and didn’t get anyone to fill in the statement section from someone who knows your child. I’ve sent new evidence in with the MR and a statement from his hearing advisory teacher backing up what I’d said on the form. Just hoping now that’s enough to make them reconsider but I’m not feeling very hopeful to be honest. But don’t let that put you off, just make sure you send the renewal form back on time and leave plenty of time to complete it x

ChocolateSundayGirl · 09/11/2022 14:41

@allyj1975 they are working on early August at the min, they’ve not started the September ones just yet.

Trustynickname · 09/11/2022 14:50

Anyone who’s scan date is early august received there decision yet? I seen on Another page that someone received there decision this morning for 2nd august which is pretty reassuring x

Trustynickname · 09/11/2022 14:53

@allyj1975 i don’t think they’re looking at anything past late July early august at the moment x

xxAmy · 09/11/2022 15:30

@Trustynickname when I sent in further evidence I sent it recorded so I knew they had got it. I rushed sending it and sent the original 😭😭
