Ok, so I think I may possibly be in labour...

Was woken up at about 6.40 which lots of pain in my uterus, however this isn't unusual at the moment, but I couldn't get back to sleep as it was unusually painful, plus quite painful in my bottom which I haven't had till now, and feeling a little bit nauseous.

I've been to the loo and. well, you know, expelled stuff that needed expelling, and my show, which has been coming in bits for days is now bloody.

Pains are intermittent atm, and not really timable yet (I've been in constant bloody pain for weeks so finding it hard to tell the difference!)

Am planning a HWB, but my first labour what about 5-6 from start to finish, so am anticipating this one to be shorter. At what point should I call the MW?

DH is just getting ready and can hopefully take DD to nursery, just as I'd planned (see my cosmic ordering thread).

What do you think? Time to start filling up the pool?

Nothing helpful to say - but GOOD LUCK bumper!!!!!!! XX

Bumperlicious · 21/09/2010 08:24

It's all just as I'd planned it! Friend has picked up DD for nursery. Except DH put the shower curtain in the pool instead of the liner, so just had to empty a third of it out and stat again Hmm

Constractions still erratic but about 5 mins apart which is how things started with DD.

Pain ok, so I won't bother for now.

Lulumaam · 21/09/2010 08:57

you're labour might go from o-60 v quick, so start getting the pool ready so you've got yourself sorted for when you suddenly need to get in

happy birthing ! and remember to breathe x

Bumperlicious · 21/09/2010 08:59

Pool nearly done. MW just turned up but I sent her off to park down the road.

Feels a bit calm before the storm...

MaMoTTaT · 21/09/2010 09:13

oooo how lovely a live birth thread - good luck.

I reckon it'll be a quick 'un and you'll be back on here just after lunchtime Grin

rollerbaby · 21/09/2010 09:22

Calm is gooooooooood. Nerves and adrenaline will slow it down, so lots of breathing! Get in your pool and listen to nice music, or get dh to massage your shoulders maybe?

So exciting!

wem · 21/09/2010 09:26

Good luck! I've been following your threads as I'm just a couple of weeks behind you, so all very exciting to read a live labour thread :)

Bumperlicious · 21/09/2010 09:26
