Ok, so I think I may possibly be in labour...

Was woken up at about 6.40 which lots of pain in my uterus, however this isn't unusual at the moment, but I couldn't get back to sleep as it was unusually painful, plus quite painful in my bottom which I haven't had till now, and feeling a little bit nauseous.

I've been to the loo and. well, you know, expelled stuff that needed expelling, and my show, which has been coming in bits for days is now bloody.

Pains are intermittent atm, and not really timable yet (I've been in constant bloody pain for weeks so finding it hard to tell the difference!)

Am planning a HWB, but my first labour what about 5-6 from start to finish, so am anticipating this one to be shorter. At what point should I call the MW?

DH is just getting ready and can hopefully take DD to nursery, just as I'd planned (see my cosmic ordering thread).

What do you think? Time to start filling up the pool?

...maybe she's flossing Grin

nigglewiggle · 21/09/2010 14:19

I reckon she's either dropped the laptop in the pool or she's having this baby!

PomPotty · 21/09/2010 14:20

lol... hope all is well and you found some good distractions or don't need them now!

I prescribe lots more loo/stairs and then choc to keep strength up

Bella32 · 21/09/2010 14:21

I am just so not going to look at an evening primrose oil capsule in the same way again. Ever Grin

liahgen66 · 21/09/2010 14:30

bumper It's my birthday today too so could you get that baby born in the next 10 hours please. :)

Have you any rescue remedy or homeopthic bits? If you are feeling a bit despondent, (no reason for you to feel so btw) it might give you a little boost.

Try regrouping and starting agin with some positive energy, a little snooze maybe? even half hour.

Also you could try sitting on the loo facing the cistern and relaxing and opening, sometimes helps to "let go" a bit.

good luck, won't be long. :)

Still here, no baby yet. Been in pool and back out again, seem to slow things down, but feels good though.

oh ok, the feeling of warm water is lovely.

Make sure you keep your strength up, eat, nap if you want to, your body knows what it's doing.

Take care
