I'd like this baby to come on Tuesday if that is ok Universe?

Just thought I'd put it out there, cosmic ordering stylee

Tuesday (during the day) would be good, DD is in nursery so I don't have to worry about getting her dispatched too quickly. DH is off work so will be around, and while I am barely sleeping so keen to get the baby out, it will give me time to finish up the things I need to get done, crochet the baby blanket, sew up DD's new 'treasure bag', wonder web the patio curtains and get the over due car tax.

DD is was due next Thursday. Three weeks off work to watch Greys Anatomy and lie on the sofa and get all that baby stuff ready.

She is now 8 days old. Her arrival coincided with DS's first week at school and the busiest weekend in the maternity hospital this year.

Congratulations though :)

Not as bad as my friend who 3 months ago finished work then went into labour that night 3 weeks early!

FAO Cosmic ordering - Thursday is looking like a good day for me. DH is on the last of his run of shifts, so early labour during Thurs day, followed by birth Thurs evening, or even Friday morning would be perfect. Hes then back in work on Saturday night, and can do his overtime and run of shifts before taking pat leave from the 2nd.

Failing that, early labour on the 1st, and birth on the 2nd would also suit me. Come to think of it, it would probably suit DH better, but hes not the one carrying this lump!!

Now, my question is, do I start aggressive natural induction methods (nipple stim, sex etc.) Monday night or wait till DD has gone to nursery on Tuesday?

An epiphany!! I'd never thought of cosmic ordering . What a fab idea. When are you due? I'm 38 weeks today, but DS - who is 3, said that the baby would be arriving Tuesday, and I'm laying all hope on the fact he must be psychic and therefore right. DH also has the week off, it would be most helpful.

So, can I share your day? Would the cosmic people allow that?

Ha, cosmic ordering, phhhhht!

All I requested was for DS4 NOT to be born on DS2's birthday, his due date. Hardly any babies arrive on their due date, right?? Previous pregnancies had been 12-15 day overdue. I had only just stopped working at 39 weeks.....

Well, you've guessed, waters went just after midnight, DS4 was born 4 hours later - thankfully DS2 is (so far) very pleased with his very special birthday present .

But hey ho, good luck to you all, ladies, may your cosmic ordering be more successful than mine

I'm due Tuesday anyway, it's not so much that I want the baby on it's due date, it's just that I won't have to stress about DD, I can get someone to pick her up after nursery. That's what I am fretting about the most, so Universe, it would make things a lot less stressful for me, I've had a shit pregnancy, I'm due a break aren't I?

Happy for Bagpusstree to share the date too :)

Pacificdogwood, I think the universe was just trying to make your life easier in the long run, you only have to remember 3 dates. One lot of pre birthday shopping and stress, gets it out of the way. Awww, I hope your boys don't mind when they get older.

Well, it worked for Bumper (YAY for Bumper!!) so maybe it will work for me.... You're due on Sunday, Little Baby. It really would be massively convenient if you arrived then - or even before if you fancy it.... OK cosmos - let's get this show on the road!

Just thought I'd update my thread and give hope to expectant mothers. Dd2 as requested arrived on Tuesday 21st September. Don't know if it was the cosmic ordering or the evening primrose oil capsule up the fanjo or would have just happened anyway but you've nothing to lose by giving it a try!

Cosmos, as everyone else here wants tuesday, I'd be happy for any time today. I don't have evening primrose to offer you, but I have Raspberry leaf capsules, would they do?? I have no plans for the next few days anyway so you don't have to work around anything. All I want is to be able to watch the wedding with my DS in my arms.

BTW, I'm 9 days over, I think it's my time now please [bugrin]

Dear universe,
please can I have this baby on Sunday may the 1st, having laboured on Saturday the 30th.
I think it would be a lovely day to be born and I am ready now to meet the new wee man. Many reasons for being the best day but importantly It would be better to have had the baby before the other DC's start back to school on tues. I'm 40w today.

I'm almost 37 weeks and would like to have the baby anytime after my final scan on 10th May as I'd like another peep and to check everything's OK but am getting a bit fed up and tired now. Would like to labour during the night so childcare is sorted and a Sunday night would be good so DS is in nursery all week. Sunday 15th May would suit me nicely, thank you.
