Looking for some fellow late Januaryers to whisper about BFPs for late Jan 2011!! Just taken the test this afternoon and thrilled to be pg with #3 potentially (two DDs who are 19m and 3y). Anyone else out there?

I've got a DD who's 3 in August.
Excited, nervous, trying to remember what I should and shouldn't be eating, I've totally forgotten!

Oh and according to the mn due date calculator my EDD its Jan 24th :-)

I got a BFP yesterday, my EDD according to Due date calc is 27th Jan!! Very very excited, this is #1 for us.

How's everyone feeling? I'm not yet experiencing any real morning sickness but I'm certainly irritable!! Lucky DH! Always convinced it's not really happening until they come out to say hello!! Going to tell my parents today, just can't cope not telling anyone in RL!!

OOh yes I'm irritable too! My poor dp doesn't know what's hit him... altho it's my 3rd it's his 1st & altho he's trying hard to be understanding blokes really don't have a clue do they & I can tell he's thinking I've gone mad! Poor sod

My first 2 are ds1 who is 7 & dd2 who is 5, feels like I've forgotten it all...

Think my due date is 30th Jan but have a scan on 3rd June to check dates & make sure everything's ok as I've had a bit of bleeding. Can't wait for that.

May I join you? I had a BFP on Weds. It's no1 for me after a mc in Jan at 12 weeks. Surprising myself by feeling quite calm and sensibly excited (e.g. being realistic that it may not work out, but not worrying about that happening).

Had very odd cycles since mc so had to do an average length of cycle on the dd calculator which gives me a date of 27 Jan 2011.

Had terrible nausea on Weds, but not so much yesterday or today, just very tired and hungry.

Going to tell family week after next as we're all away together so it's just our secret at the mo! So pleased to be pg again - it seems ages since the mc.

Looking forward to joining a new antenatal thread.

Welcome WestYorkshireGirl and a quiet congrats (we'll all keep whispering about our BFPs quietly for a few weeks until we're brave enough to talk about it out loud). Fingers crossed for you - nausea, tiredness and hunger are great symptoms

Told my parents today as I've just been offered a promotion and obviously the timing's sucky! So wanted their opinions - my dad was a typical dad and said something along the lines of "well done, on both accounts" and then went off to do some gardening - ooh the love of a British father!!

Hello everyone! Did the test yesterday after a week of feeling a bit weird, the calculator thingy says due date is 22nd Jan and it's #1 for me - am still a bit gobsmacked but v.excited!

I feel as if I could kill someone today poor poor DH, he is so glad he is on nights tonight!

I've told some close family - SIL found my test so I could hardly hide it!

So what region is everyone from - I'm hazarding a guess that westyorkshiregirl may well be from west yorkshire

Thank you for the welcome. Good to see some old pros on here to guide us newbies through it all! I only have my symptoms from before to relate to and that was last year mainly. I can't cope with really popular threads where so much happens in a day that it takes you ages to catch up and even longer if you miss a day so I'm not going to join the main Jan thread.

Good morning everyone - I seem to be waking up very early these days - not sure if this is a symptom or not. Congratulations to everyone new!!

Had a few symptoms, mainly my boobs feeling very tight and tender and very, erm, responsive nipples!! Occasional sicky feeling but not bad - yet!

Haven't told anyone yet. In fact, haven't even got round to ringing drs - must put on my to-do list. Only a couple of close friends knew were we TTC, so not sure how to play it when I see them - they will probably guess straight away! Want to wait another couple of weeks before telling the parents, but seeing PILS tomorrow for Sunday lunch and not drinking might be a giveaway. DH suggested I drive but I think they will suss that too - I never drive if we go somewhere together!

I'm in the north-east ladybuzz!!

I'm going to a big family party today so certain people might guess if I'm not drinking, I can't use driving as an excuse as DH is on nights and can't drink either. Hopefully no one will twig!!

moules - early wakings during pregnancy are awful, especially in 1st and 3rd trimester when you're feeling so knackered anyway, but I reckoned it was your body's way of getting you ready for the baby's anti-social hours too!

I'm useless - when we found out last week, I told my DH I didn't want to tell any RL people until we were past the 'safe' part, but all my friends knew we were TTC and as soon as they ask outright, I've been grinning like a loon and they've sussed me. No Oscars for me this year!! Fingers (and legs) crossed that it stays put! Still no real symptoms which is weird for me because I was sick as a dog for both previous PGs. Hoping it just means this one is going to be kinder to me

Hi does an EDD of 19th Jan count as late Jan? Mind if I join you? Not told anyone in RL yet, number 2 for us Dd will be 2 in August and i've forgotten everything too. No real symptons yet apart from being really hungry. Congratulations to all and fingers crossed all goes well.

Oh it's exciting to be back. I had a mc last month at 7 weeks but here I am again already. BFB yesterday. Really didn't believe it would happen again so quickly and have to admit I am feeling very nervous this time. Can't think beyond next week and hoping I get that far. Boobs very sore!

I'm in Oxfordshire. I can safely say that this is the first time in my life that I've been actually quite happy about feeling vaguely sick! I've had lots of PMT-like cramps as well for the last couple of weeks. Oh, and my short-term memory seems to have completely vanished already, I'd hoped that wouldn't happen til later on! I can't remember where anything is or what I was supposed to be doing. Damnit.

Hey everybody - I thought I'd join you but not sure if I count as late Jan either - based on what I think is my ov date my EDD should be Jan 19th but officially its Jan 14th. Oh well, I'm greedy and happy to take part in two threads

It's my first pregnancy and I'm very exicted!!! BubbaBump like you lots of friends knew we were trying so it was hard to not tell, plus I have little willpower and the inablility to keep a secret. So now quite a few people know I'm knocked up We're going to see the ILs next weekend so will be telling them then too!

Hope everyone is doing well - I'm queasy on and off, very tired and have huge, sore boobs that keep getting huger. I crave meat and weirdly processed meat like sausage rolls which I NEVER eat normally. Hmmm, I think a pork pie is now calling my name...
