LOL Frizbe!

Couldn't really join in yesterday's conversation as don't have a bump or a changed belly button to talk about .

Just got back in from ordering flat screen TV/sound system stuff - figured we could treat ourselves to one last thing before Chip arrives . No doubt we'll regret it when all we get to watch on it is CBeebies!!

spacecadet · 10/09/2005 17:11

cheek!
im rushing around today as dd is being christened tomorrow and there is so much to be done!

I've been busy all day... lots of it spent yelling at DH for being bloody useless and having his arse glued to the computer chair. I explained to him (and most likely the neighbours ) that sometimes he needs to get of the F*^king computer and realise that real life sometimes need to come before a computer game. It didn't have much effect though, he helped for the time, but I doubt much will change in the long run!!! (I never normally swear so it is clear how annoyed I was)

Other than that, achey bump, but fine

xxxx

Frizbe · 11/09/2005 18:10

Ah yes FS I know that one, is it an online game per chance, a la Everquest or World of Warcraft....both the bane of mine, dd and ss's life (unless his dad is letting ss have his half hour on it for being good! men)

SC hope the christening went well?

Amanda1, hope party good? don't suppose you could post the fish pie recipe somewhere could you? or would we be getting MN into trouble for re producing a jamie thing?!

Tabs, flat screen lucky you! would love one, only they go best on walls don't they? and our walls are C* as a new build.....nothing stays on em, not even with the right fittings....grrr...

Awwwww - beautiful Spacecadet.

Amanda1 - you really seem to have turned a corner these last few days. Great to hear you sounding so much more postive.

Frizbe - I have soft copy of Naked Chef 2. It doesn't have the fish pie recipe in that one, but if you like him generally and want a copy then CAT me and I'll send it on.

Flame - you got that DH of yours off the computer yet? My DH is always on his, and he doesn't even play games on it (unless Suduko counts)!

TicTac · 12/09/2005 01:25

Hi All,
You all seem to be happy chapesses at the minute...good oh! We are on the last leg of our holiday now and will be SO glad to be home on Friday.

Sorry to go back a day or too but I too have a really deep belly button... I think it meets the crack of my arse back there some place! But it does appea to be really shallow now. Where as I could have put my little finger all the way in..only my finger nail fits now..LOL...dont actually know the details really but it might be something like that!

Got my scan day wrong...it is Tuesday we go not tomorrow. There is a broadband internet connection at the hotel though so I will have no trouble popping back on for another posting.

DH is dragging me kicking and screeming to MIL on Tuesday as well (she lives in Toronto!)

Right then, bye for now.

Morning girlies,

Gorgeous picture SC. I'm so glad you are feeling stronger Amanda - sounds like you are ready to let people know you are not a force to be reckoned with, good on you.

Oooh Tic Tac, I am soooo excited for you, can't wait to hear how it all goes.

Been lots of movement again from the little one again this weekend, I can't believe I'm nearly 1/2 way through, it's getting petrifying!!!

flamesparrow · 12/09/2005 09:55

Frizbe - We are lost in the wonder of WoW. He was silly enough to teach DD how to make his character jump though, and now she just sits on his lap while he's trying to fight and hits spacebar and gets him killed!!! Quick shameless plug here... DH has made World of Warcraft bookends (the creepy guys with red eyes and big cloaks from a loading up screen) - an unusual christmas present for addicted DH perhaps?

Back to bellybuttons... does anyone else go all shuddery if they put their fingers in theirs? Not just during pregnancy... in general (or am I odd???)

Christening photo is lovely

The others are right - you are sounding so much more positive Amanda

I gave in yesterday and had a HUGE glass of milk... waiting for the headache to kick in now

Still craving sushi...

chloe55 · 12/09/2005 10:30

I have been very naughty on the pate front, DH ALWAYS gets it as a starter and I have to nick a bit or I get ratty .

I used to have belly button issues until I got it pierced - have took the ring out now though. Is anyone getting shooting (like knitting needle) pains through their belly button, especially if you do too much standing?

3k · 12/09/2005 13:13

Hi Ladies,

I have just read all the postings since Thursday as not been online for a few days. I went into kitchen at work to make a cuppa and decided to examine my belly button - put my finger in and it didn't go in far!! Made me feel funny - kind of cringy whoever else said that - and pulled it out quick!! YUK!! I think it will pop out eventually!!

Tired today at work or that could be boredom, boss in so loads to do but I cant be bothered!!

I think we should all post bump piccies somewhere so we can compare!!!

spacecadet · 12/09/2005 13:16

lol 3k, i need a wide angled lense!, ive just balloned, no matter how hard i try, i cant do any of my trousers up,, luckily, i have one pair of mothercare maternity trousewrs i can wear i had from dd2.

You ladies have a lot to answer for! Went to ante-natal yoga tonight, and there was one bit where we had to focus on our belly buttons and breathe into them. Well I nearly had a fit of the giggles because I was imagining breathing into Spacecadet's cavernous bellybutton, and wondering whether Flamesparrow would feel funny if she breathed into hers!!!

Frizbe - expect MN towers won't forward your cat until tomorrow, but will send it to you as soon as I get it.

Tabs · 12/09/2005 21:51

I was wrong Frizbe - cat just arrived, so have mailed the book to you. Enjoy!

flamesparrow · 13/09/2005 08:54

LOL LOL LOL!

I'm scared to do a pregnancy yoga class now!

Frizbe - he's working on a better version than the ones I have a photo of (not helpful I know) - Will get him to take a photo of the better version and will send it to you. I think they're good, but then I'm unbelievably biased! He is asking where your DH plays - he is on Bloodhoof (I think, or that could be a random guild name ... I was meant to write it down last night)

Off to shops today, need more trousers, and desperately need maternity bras - mine are killing me The nearest mothercare is a way away though, so i have to use petrol to get there when its not easy to get any . Had a look at M&S bras but they really didn't do anything for me. I spent months with saggy breast pregnant with DD before I realised that not all maternity bras were like it!
